No Loyalty to existing customers- RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

I have been a customer of vodafone for around 10 years - When calling to upgrade my handset they would not offer me a better a deal only something thats more expensive per month or to upgrade to 4G for an extra tenner a month! I can't really afford £10 extra ontop of what i already pay and all i kept getting told by your customer service was 'theres nothing we can do sir' later when i phoned back to ask if they could match a price i have found they told me a load of BS about how theres are a little more expensive due to the customer service they offer and putting their money in to that. WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE?????!!!!!!

I know now that once my contract is up unless they can offer me a better deal or match what i can purchase elsewhere they will be loosing another loyal paying customer!

Oh and to top it off i tried to send an email to complain to try and get somewhere with this useless corporate company yet i get an automated response from Mr Rajesh Sukumaran to say they do not deal with this type of query through email please ring them on 191 which i already have done!! - Is there anything i can do to try and get through to anyone slightly higher up in the company apart from going round in circles!!!!!!

I will be leaving vodafone for a more approachable service provider who doesn't just palm you off!!!

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM YOU WILL REGRET!!!

VODAFONE BEWARE............
dont go to vodafone, worst service ever, only promises,

now calls are being taken from abroad, taking your personal details, and pin number,

because they cant trace the person who deals with you, be very CAREFULL of vodafone, many people have experienced this,

THERE ARE NO RECORDED CALLS, AND CANT TRACE ONLINE CONVERSATIONS.

CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS EVERY MONTH, TAKING OUT EXTRA, SOMETIMES THEY DONT TAKE A PAYMENT OUT

AND YOU THINK WOW, BUT CHECK NEXT MONTH HOW THERY MESS YOU AROUND..

SO ANY OTHER NETWORK BUT VODAFONE.

Idiots!

Been a vodafone customer for about 10 years. Currently on a sim only contract. Phoned up to add more minutes onto my price plan and was told I had to change to a 4G price plan which is an extra £13 per month. Apparently 3G price plans aren't available anymore! I can't even get 4G where I live and there is no plans of it any time soon according to Vodadone's coverage checker! Absolutely shocking customer service!

Please don't go for it if you want to have a reliable service

Vodafone lives on presumptions of their own which is that every thing is perfectly fine. The couldn't solve the network problem I had at my previous address in 5 months while on daily bases they would tell me that it will be fixed in 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days 5 days, one week etc while on their network coverage map it was showing perfect. I moves home and have the same problem since last 1 month and again the network coverage map show everything perfect indoor and outdoor for my address. They told me that they have some "unexpected issues" in the area which they are working on and can't tell me the time it will take them to fix the issue. But i am sure that the don't know how many years in will take them or even if the will be able to fix it at all and i seriously doubt they are doing anything at all coz it should have been fixed in 5 moths in my previous address.

Network quality is very poor..and they doesn't value their customer..I had very bad or you cn say worst experience.. Never advice anee1 to opt fr vodafone..I ll rate them zero instead of 1 star

Worst company I have ever dealt with! KEEP AWAY FROM VODAFONE!!!

Took out a contract with them to start with they messed up my delivery and I had to reorder my phone, what was promised as free in my plan I found out a month later that I was being charged (£ 60) called their customer service and told them that I was offered these for free but no one believed me (spoke to atleast 4 different ppl) luckily I had an email sent to me confirming that they were infact offered free....took them forever to correct their mistake (after sending them atleast 3 emails) but finally they did do it.... but again after 6 months I started to get overcharged for things I did not even use...so typically they will overcharge me by £20....(taken out my account by DD) than I would realize and call their customer service and ask them about the charge...they would realize their mistake and after sorry/apologize/blahblah they would adjust the charges with my next months bill! THAT HAPPENED FOR LIKE 12-14 MONTHS!!!! I can go on and on and on....my contract was coming to an end so I gave them my months notice to end the contract and asked for unlocking code for my phone and also PAC code so I can take my number to a new network.....get this... my contract has now finished...STILL NO UNLOCKING CODE(so CAN'T USE my new SIM only plan with different network on MY PHONE) and STILL NO PAC code (so can't even switch my number) and know I have no reception on my phone!
INCOMPETENCY at it's best!

Vodafone say Sale of Goods Act doesn't apply to them!

After my iphone packed in, Vodafone refused to accept any responsibility because it was beyond Apple's 1-year warranty. Customer Services said that the Sale of Goods Act isn't a law, it's only a guideline. When I asked to speak to a manager, he said there was no point. I'd only hear the same thing from a different mouth!! It's cost me £159.00 to replace the iphone through Apple just to be able to continue to use Vodafone's network. Trusted? Draw your own conclusions.

Tv ad currently shows Vodafone as choice for emergency services - God help us!

I had been with Vodafone for 15 years on pay as you go. Briefly, tried new phone on contract - couldn't get on with it - returned phone - have been trying since February to switch back to pay as you go. Have spoken several times to Scotland. Spoken to online adviser - I stressed I desperately need phone - please whatever the outcome please do not disconnect. Was immediately cut off. This is not because of non payment - I am actually in credit. Every time I contact them I am told different...March was told 'donc' transfer needs to be done - will take 10 days. Today was told - donc transfer needs to be done......I was without mobile for most of March which has caused me problems. I have a disabled brother and have for the past 15 years given this contact number. I have come home to urgent messages on my home phone from his doctor. Vodafone TV advert..........used by emergency services - You must be joking.......................

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES

CONSIDERING THE HUGE PROFITS THE COMPANY MAKE IM SURPRISED AT THE PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICES.
ONE FAULT AFTER ANOTHER ,BEING PROMISED THAT ITS FIXED AND ITS NOT.
PROMISED PHONE BACK BY A MANAGER THAT NEVER HAPPEN.
FAULTS THAT GO ON FOR MONTHS WITHOUT BEING RESOLVED.
VERY POLITE ON THE PHONE AND THEY TELL YOU BARE FACED LIES ABOUT WHATS GOING ON, VERY POOR SERVICE

CHARGE £0.25 TO TALK TO AN OPERATOR.
DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS
NOT OPEN 24 HOURS,SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT
OUT OF POCKET,AND OUT OF PATIENCE .

Brand new Vodafone sim-card not working for two weeks

I changed my phone company two weeks ago, from O2 to Vodafone. Since then I haven't been able to receive any phone calls or any texts. I have been in my local Vodafone shop 6 times now and on the phone to the customer service 4 times over this past fortnight. Every time I have been promised that my phone would work after 24 hours and been told that Vodafone is sorry that pay-as-you-go customers can't be given any compensation for inconvenience. My phone is still not receiving any incoming calls or texts - and I just got of the phone with customer service again: they promised me it will be fixed within 24 hours.

Absolutely shocking

I worked for vodafone customer services in one of the call centres for 2.5 years. No one likes the job and is just there for money. It's probably the worst place I've worked in my life, it's absolutely shocking.. Everyone will just pass you to another department to get rid of you so they don't have to deal with you. Worst of all is the Egypt call centre none of them care whatsoever, even when working there speaking colleague to colleague they'll put the phone down on you etc. it's a shambles of a company, I can't actually believe that it can be allowed to run like that, seriously they don't care one bit about the calls going in and out.. There high valued department is based in Egypt by a bunch of guys who don't give two flicks about anything about the business. Since leaving I've had a few issues and they don't resolve anything.. Absolute shocking company..

Vodafone dont give "Sh""" about you

After 17 years with vodafone i give up, since last September i have had picture txt going out on my phone to Chad central africa ... doesn't show on my out box only on my bill i have tried and tried to get it sorted .. given promise after promise from all sorts of call centres who cant speak English "please sir i am here to help you , i want you to be 100% Satisfied" if i hear another sub continent person say that to me il scream, it costs me £7 a month ... they will not investigate it... "are you sure you are not txting chad sir" one vodafone Muppet said to me ... honestly you couldnt make it up .... i tell you one thing if it was costing vodafone £7 a month they would have sorted it months ago ... my contract doesnt end till july but im getting out of it now. Vodafone higher management have lost the plot .

avoid like the plague

Recently changed my business phones to Voda, problem is. If there is a problem with the phone there is no dedicated customer liason, so you end end up pressing many buttons to eventually get thru to someone who can't help you. If you're a business customer who depends on their phone and it breaks and you need a replacement quick the only option you have is to receive a phone via mail, which of course means waiting in on a specific day, you cannot simply visit a Vodafone store and get a replacement. I think they really don't understand the needs of business users.

Vodafone after care sevice very poor

been with Vodafone for 15 years now,13 years payg 1 year Sim only contract,thought i would get a new phone on contract this time,received a Sony Xperia Sp on the 29/2/2014,just over 2 weeks on the 16/3/2014 phone starts playing up,phone just shutting down,phoned up told me to watch it and see what happens,16/3/2014 phone still shutting down phoned up they told me to do a factory reset,so i did,on the 21/3/2014 no sound from ear piece,phoned up they said take it in to my Vodafone store and they would send it back,which they did,i got hold of Vodafone and asked for a new phone seeing it was brand new,but it is over there 7 day period so i am not entitled to a new phone just a repair,they gave me 1 month line rental for good will gesture,phone come back on the 27/3/2014,would you believe it today 1/4/2014 phone froze then shut down,phoned again they asked did i have a new Sim,i replied yes when i got the phone back from repair,he told me it would do that shut it self down and reboot,i said i have had the phone for 4 days,but he said it will shut down and reboot,then he asked would i like to add a Sim only contract on to my contract,i can't believe the way they treat you,they don't care,if the phone was 12 months old i wouldn't mind but this is brand new they should just replace it,i work for the local authority and i would not recommend Vodafone to one of the staff,very poor service i will NOT get another phone on contract from Vodafone

When ovivo went bust our phone stopped working. So we decided to do the right thing & pay the £19.99 to Vodafone to have the phone unlocked. What a nightmare this has been simply due to the Vodafone staff giving me the wrong info.
Day 1 waited 45 mins on hold waiting to get advice, then followed advice & ordered a SIM card.
Waited 4 days! For the card to arrive. It didn't work so had to call them again, another 35 mins on hold, advisor told me shed activated the sim. So I paid the £20 & filled out the unlock form.
Waited 2 more days, email from nuc resolutions saying they couldn't unlock it. No reason! Phoned up again & agent in Scotland told me it needs activating & to sent 2 txt mags @ 14p each! To activate it, then fill out the form again.
Waited 2 more days, same email from nuc resolution saying they couldn't unlock it, again no reason specified, so phoned up again, same Scottish call centre, agent told me the last agent had given me wrong info & I needed to make phone calls, her advice was to make 2 @ 25p each! Then fill out the form again & wait 2 more days.
This is becoming a nightmare. Vodafone really like screwing every last penny out of customers who want to leave, plus make it as hard as they possibly can for the customers to leave.

worst network ever!!!

Starting with the fact that my network coverage with Vodafone has been appalling, they stopped my number and my online login working without notice from the day it expired! I've lost all my contacts (and im looking for a job!) And I havent been able to use my phone from a moment to another. Really angry at them and their poor service

how do they function?

Used a third party company to get a good price on contract, all was going well till my first bill was due, then bam! Right out of nowhere, cut off from all services with no way to contact them, after being unable to pay for a month I get charged another bill for services unrecieved and 2 late payment fees, after going in-store I unwillingly pay the second bill on the terms both late payments were removed, this was agreed but was still charged, then after 9 days I get cut off again for another bill. Disgusting.

Incompetent, complete lack of service ethic

Been with vodafone for 4 years. Tried to charge £46 for call from my mobile vodafone 191 number. For 6 months we have been cut off each and every month despite the account being paid via E/T into Barclays and cash deposited at the Barclays counter. I have phoned, been into their branches, numerous times, the frustration level is not worth it, I will be terminating my contract as life is too short to deal with such companies. I will never sign a contact again it has been that frustrating. We have dealt with Egypt, South Africa, India and the UK, we have been told "sorry" at least 15 times, nothing happens to rectify the issues. Please believe me, don't sign up with them no matter what they offer, they are completely useless and don't deserve our hard earned money.

Really gone downhill recently

Vodafone was once a great provider with UK based customer service who really cared. Now it's robots in India who obviously don't give a damn. Keep adding charges and it takes ages to get anything sorted. Been with them for over 10 years, which apparently counts for nothing. Can't wait to see the end of the contract and move to O2.

They will rob you!!!

Worst mobile company I have been with. They add products onto your profile that will cost you money. They do this without asking your permission, knowingly that it will cost you more money than what it will safe you!!
Do not take the eurotraveller option unless you need loads of data while abroad. It is a rip off!!
