We have ordered doors from Cherry Tree before and have been very satisfied and this one did not disappoint. 6 foot maple shoji and glass barn door with an extended header for the closet wall in our office. It is beautiful, solidly constructed and according to my contractor, was not at all hard to install. All parts were intact. Took him a couple of hours max. Beverly is very helpful during the ordering process to make sure measurements and materials are what you need. Thank you Cherry Tree.

The door is sublime. Has transformed our home. Installation was a breeze. I love the hardware. Wife wants another one :)

We ordered two products from this company. The TV surround does a great job of hiding the big TV when not in use, yet very attractive looking. Goes well with our decor and furnishings. The second product was the sliding door used to close off the wall-in closet in our master bedroom. Again, creative, elegant and innovative in design. Extremely pleased with the quality of work and the care taken when time to ship to us.

I ordered a shoji screen door with barn door door type hardware. It was perfect! The website guided me through each step of design. Even the shipping process was perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Four Sojhi sliding doors are the "front end" of a 12' wide by 3' deep pantry at one end of the kitchen. Two critical items that resulted in a spectacular result are: 1) the perfection that Cherry Tree Design achieves in the construction of the doors and selection of related hardware components, and, 2) a talented craftsman to ensure that the installation is exactly as envisioned. The doors arrived on schedule and carefully packaged and the installation went extremely well.

The ordering process was a little bumpy as I am an amateur design enthusiast but have no expertise in woodworking, door hanging, etc.. The person on the phone almost seemed annoyed that I didn't know all her lingo and seemed anxious to get me off the phone. The general contractor who is managing significant renovations at my home called with questions a few days later and that knowledgeable individual indicated, without prompting, a similar encounter on the phone.

The good news is the initial bumps were all resolved and the results are terrific. I'd definitely order again, but my advice to all is to have a knowledgeable "installer" involved in the ordering process to avoid any surprises.

The staff at Cherry Tree Design was very patient with all of my questions and helping me compare multiple designs before making a final decision. The doors arrived safely and are beautiful as an opening to a new walk-in closet. My only suggestion would be to provide larger samples of the screen material (even if it means charging a small fee). The current sample sizes are too small.

I was very happy with the doors Cherry Tree made. Design process online was easy, and found good customer service when clarifying questions. The doors were definitely spendy, but the quality is very good. The installation instructions were a bit off (mounting the doors on the tracks is not as easy as described, but overall I'd rate them highly...I guess I already did.

We had the doors shipped to our home on Lummi Island so we did not see them until we arrived there in March for my birthday. We walked downstairs and were "Blown Away" by them. They were / are beautiful and the quality exceeded our expectations.

I ordered shoji doors for two applications. The first was to allow us to divide a long family room in two to make a guestroom, and the second was to close off an archway between our living room and the aforementioned family room. The former are attached to the ceiling and the latter are mounted on the wall and don't reach to the ceiling. The doors are really beautiful open or closed and went into place per the instructions. They operate smoothly. The materials and workmanship are amazing, impeccable, and flawless. The doors are clearly architectural elements of the rooms now, providing visual privacy and a peaceful ambiance.

The only feature of the doors and their mounting could be improved would be the mounting on the wall, where the wood holding the track didn't seem to offer enough structural support to bear the weight of the hung doors. We supplemented it with ornamental chains attached to the ceiling to reinforce it. This was a relatively minor issue and was easily corrected. The result looks great and the doors work beautifully.

Our remodeling contractor, who installed all the doors, was very impressed with the shoji doors and their beauty. I could see the wheels turning in his head, thinking about other projects where these would add value.

We ordered sight unseen from the website - we are delighted with the finished product - high quality, beautiful effect. Helpful, patient service throughout.

We were doing a remodel of a room and needed to have a custom door created for the closet. We searched online and found a few different companies. After much research and discussion we went with Cherry Tree Design and it has turned out to be a great decision. Their online design system made the project much easier and they were very helpful in answering the questions that we did have and in helping to get the door design just right. They were delivered in packaging that was perfect to protect them with no damage or flaws in the doors. The installation instructions were clear and well done. We chose a 3 sliding door system for the door to the closet and the system went in well and works and looks great. Thanks!

I got an estimate for the doors I wanted (4) from the website and was contacted by Cherry Tree Design to see if I had additional question. A few points about dimensions were clarified and I placed the order. Delivery was by truck right on the indicated schedule. I was a little concerned about the installation since my door jams were not plumb and my floors were not level. A few adjustments and it all went together well.
They look great and are as advertised.

Yes, there are cheaper alternatives out there. However, I sadly learned from experience that "cheaper" means poor quality and terrible customer service. At Cherry Tree Design, quality of the product speaks for itself, but I can't say enough good things about the service and support I received... from my first contact, through several design consultations, and the total ordering process. These folks know how to do it right and treat customers right.

All was as expected, other than the rice paper was wavy and not smooth as I expected. The doors are well made and fit the opening perfectly. Very easy to install and the sales process was excellent! I would give a 5 star rating had the rice paper been tighter in the cells...

I spent a lot of time online researching large sliding door systems, and found my ideal solution at Cherry Tree Design. The doors are beautiful. Every aspect of functionality has been thought through. Bev at customer service was extremely helpful in designing my system. The price was extremely reasonable relative to all the other high quality door systems that can cost 2..3..even 4 times as much. 5 stars all around!
