I installed a set of sliding doors from Cherry Tree Design for my new home in Washington DC. They are beautiful, and look exactly like what I had in mind when I ordered them.

We were nervous about buying long distance from a company no one we knew had tried, but the people at Cherry Tree Design were reassuring and great to work with. They even talked to our contractor before we ordered to make sure things would fit properly. Our contractor said it was the best packed item, he'd ever seen. We are very pleased with how our shoji works and looks. Great choice for us.

When you are making such a large purchase online, it is a bit scary. The folks at Cherry Tree were helpful on the phone, and the photos on the website helped. We were doing a remodel job, so the carpenters installed the doors, but they had no problems. And now they are a beautiful addition to our home. I ordered a custom shoji screen for the lower half of my bedroom window. Every step of interaction with Cherry Tree Design went perfectly, and the screen is perfect. Anyone who sees it says they have never seen anything else like it, and that include a local retailer for custom window treatments. I am very happy with my beautiful screen.

The shoji screen doors (4) came in a bullet proof shipping crate. The rice paper with the vinyl backing adds a touch of grandure to the mahogany doors. I added a mahogany veneer to the inside of my painted trim that matched the doors. It gave a nice finished look. Installation was a snap. Great product produced by a quality company.

We needed the equivalent of a pocket door for our bathroom, but the wall wiring didn't permit that option, so we found shoji screen doors designed by Cherry Tree Design. I called them and with patient listening, they helped me choose the right door.

The investment was sizable, so it was important that everything be right. Once ordered the door arrived carefully packed so that there could be very little likelihood of damage. The installation went smoothly. The instructions were clear, and the process took a little over three hours. I have had a little carpentry experience, but not a lot. Certainly, you don't have to an expert, but I am sure that if I needed help, the people at Cherry Tree would have been there for me.

We are very pleased with the result. The door serves our purposes completely. Furthermore, because the door is made from cherry wood, it matches the cherry furniture in our bedroom. If the design suits your needs, don't hesitate to contact Cherry Tree Designs.

Since we were buying online without benefit of a local showroom, Cherry Tree sent samples, provided advice, and double-checked with detailed specifications to make sure they got it right the first time. Perfect!

Talk about lucking out? I found Cherry Tree on the internet when I looked for American made shojis. We wound up spending almost 11K, but worth every penny!!! Bev Piette is amazing and took all the worry out of our plan! Everything went as smoothly as could be. I would(and have) highly recommend Cherry Tree to anyone who wants to create an Asian look with American craftsmanship!

We found this company on line and i called more than once to get help with the design and they were always courteous and patient. The door arrived with some damage to the mounting rail and they replaced it immediately. We really like the look of this door.

I cannot thank you enough for the most beautiful quality doors. We needed a solution for my home electrology office providing a door from the waiting area to the treatment room. They were expertly packed, arriving in excellent condition. They were very easy to install being permanently attached to the wall on one side and free standing on the other meeting up with our hanging partitions. The cherry wood is exceptionally beautiful and truly makes a statement to my clients as they arrive. Worth every dollar.

I have a Cherry Tree Shoji screen as the door to my master bathroom. It is beautiful and substantially enhances the decor of the room. What I like about it even more, is the lightness and privacy it affords without the extra bulk of a fixed standard door. Even more remarkable is that a local vendor (in Wash DC area) quoted a higher price, for an imported screen, and wanted me to wait 12 weeks. Cherry Tree, in Montana, during the heaviest snow storms this winter, finished it in about a week and shipped it directly to me - and it was in my home in less than two weeks, as I recall. My contractor installed it easily and was very impressed with its design and quality. I really would like some more for another doorway or two in my home! You won't regret this purchase....(plus it's proudly made in a red state and proudly owned in a blue state (Buy American!).

We have a full wall 4 panel sliding Shoji Screen in our Manhattan apartment seperating our bedroom from sitting room. It works beautifully sliding to open exposure to all windows or closing completely for privacy. We costantly receive compliments on the beauty and quality of the screen. I know it has enhanced the value of our apartment investment.

I installed two shoji doors, one connecting my bathroom and walk in closet and the 2nd connecting closet and bedroom. They are exactly what I was looking for--attractive, lightweight, and affordable.

We had a new opening cut and installed a large picture window installed, but we were perplexed as to the window treatment as the rest of the windows in the room were inside wood shutters. Cherry Tree shoji screens turned out to be the perfect answer. Excellent quality, excellent beauty. Something very satisfying about opening or closing these screens.

My order was filled in a timely fashion and it arrived without a scratch. The door is beautifully done and all the hardware was included to hang it. My son built a wall on each side for the door to slide into and the whole thing is pretty impressive. We get lots of compliments.

We looked everywhere for a door to make the back room, a 4th bedroom and the second master bedroom off our new kitchen. We did the kitchen with custom maple cabinets and wanted something to close off the back room while not looking like we just put up any door. We chose a maple finish "barn door" like we saw on HGTV. Everyone that sees it thinks it was part of our original design (we should have been so lucky)
