they suck
first we had trouble activating the radios. then the main reason we baught them was so when we are ijn farm fileds that our phone dont work we could communicate if equipment broke down. These things dont work all the advertising is basically false . Called to try and return them and that was a waste of time and the support guy on the phone was terriable their whole gig is a sham

To start with, I had a very short wait time to be connected to support. Once connected, Patrick was very polite and knowledgeable. He quickly found the fix and corrected it. He explained a couple of other things about the radio that I was doing wrong. GREAT JOB!!

Shoshone National Forest
I was in the shoshone national forest. 45 miles from Farson, Wyoming and about that far from Lander, Wyoming. I talked to a friend in Rock Springs,Wyoming which is about 80 miles from where I was. Had 4 bars on the radio.

1st deceptive marketing no monthly charge.but a yearly charge $50 per radio..also you can't program new people on your own radios.you have to have rapid radio to program new contacts. Also you have to have cell service for radios to work.take the radio in a no cell phone service area and see for your self..Should be a class action law suit against rapid radios.a

Programming New Contacts – Our radios are fully encrypted for your privacy and security. To ensure accurate and secure communication setup, we currently handle contact additions directly. If you need to add users, just let us know—we’re happy to take care of it promptly.
Cell Service Requirement – Our radios are LTE-based and use cell towers for connectivity, similar to mobile phones. That said, they are designed to work at a greater range and provide broader network coverage. Service is delivered across multiple major carriers, and the radios automatically switch between networks for the strongest connection. This information is included in our product specifications, FAQ page, landing pages, and we also provide a coverage map to help customers check service in their area.

Solved our Communication Problems
We highly recommend these radios! We love them for both of our businesses- DeBuck's Family Farm and New Lawn Sod Farm- Having one radio to carry that works for both businesses and the ability to have private groups is amazing! Prior we would have to carry a few radios. We are a farm that has a few spots on our fields that you could not get any reception- This was our solution. Love that I could assign the radios with each person of the crew name, so you know who radio is who's. It also shows the other members who is talking. It is easy to switch back and forth between crews! We have tested the distance for our drivers. Crystal clear! 5 STARS... I would give them 10 stars if we could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rapid Radios - Have 7 of them!
I purchased 6 Radios, 1 Base unit and 1 My Emergency Radio last year at the start of hurricane season. Turned out they were really handy during aftermath of storms including Helene so that we could talk to our children.
A couple of weeks ago while checking preparations for this season I discovered one of the radios not responding. Contacted their customer support and working with Hailey S. could not have been more satisfied with their service. She stayed right on the issue until I had all radios functioning. She was great. The company and product are great.
One note; I noticed some people complain about the annual renewal fee. I knew that was the case when I bought them. It is on their site. And the radios have SIM cards. Not sure why people are confused on this. It is not a monthly cell bill.
Anyway, these radios work for our family and customer service is great. Especially Hailey S.

I called and talked to Kara today about a small issue with not receiving all 5 of my new radios. However within minutes Kara had it all figured out and 2 new radios shipped out and the tracking number in my email. Without the best customer service I have had in a really long time!!!! Our return policy allows for a refund within 7 business days of delivery. Your return was received outside of that return window, and was therefore processed in accordance with our posted policy. It’s important to note that this return policy is separate from our 1-year warranty, which covers manufacturer-related issues. Under the warranty, we’re happy to issue replacements for any items that experience manufacturer defects.
After reviewing your prior communication with our customer care team, we can confirm that our representatives reached out multiple times and offered to replace the items per our warranty. You indicated that you preferred a full refund instead. Our team also provided the return policy for your review, along with return instructions and prepaid shipping labels to assist with the return process.
After your return was received, a dispute was opened, which prevented us from finalizing the full refund. Now that the dispute has been closed, the remainder of your refund is being processed through the banks.

Update: My service was 100% NOT expired!
I want to start off by saying I purchased 3 of these radios because I was sold on the Emergency Contact gimmick. Well a gimmick is all it really is. A couple months after receiving setup radios, I went to try them out again because I was traveling so I was determined to put them to the test. Well, short lived that was, Rapid Radios can(without concent) just deactivate your service and completely wipe your radios at any point. All 3 of our radios were completely blank, no contacts, no way to communicate with the others, just blank. I contacted Rapid Radios(with a lot of struggle to get through to a person), and they confirmed that they did deactivate it but they assured me that they could submit a request to reactivate all 3, no problem.. No Problem?? So in the case of an emergency, now I need to require a cellphone or internet to contact Rapid Radios to reactivate my radios because they deactivated them for a reason I still do not know and they refused to tell me. After a lot of back and forth, and doing research, I figured out just how much of a scam this company is. Do yourself a favor, youtube reviews from radio experts, NOT from salesmen, and learn the truth.

My cats knocked my radios off my table and couldn't proceed with proceed programming my radios, CSR and with in 10 minutes I was in the air!...Thanks Rapid Radios!.After reading some of the negative reviews people are not reading the statements,you get slammed by carriers SIM CARDS more them you think.I'll pay 50$ per talkie no problem, Verizon charge is half of your bill, wake up people.
