Become a certified medical biller and coder through National Healthcareer Association (NHA), which is NOT recognized or excepted by most firms that pay good money. They want an AHIMA certification even over an AAPC cert. BTI is $20k for an unrecognized diploma which you can get for free through Alison. Don't bother with this school unless you want to feel like you wasted your money and time. Even their Certified Medical Associate is overpriced! The local hospital, Geisinger, will pay to train you to be a Certified Medical Associate, Surgical Technologist, or Phlebotomist. Don't pay for education at any school when the hospital will pay you to learn their system.
Berks was convenient to me bc of a 4 lane highway and I didn't want to drive to Shamokin-ugh, for nursing school. Plus I want to work from home or anywhere for that matter.

I have been enrolled in the IT Support Program since February, working towards my Associates degree. This a fantastic small institution that prioritizes the development of job skills relevant to specific industries.

My experience thus far has exceeded my expectations. The admissions process, particularly in dealing with veteran benefits, was handled exceptionally well. Navigating the online materials and participating in classrooms has also been smooth.

One of the advantages of attending a smaller school is the opportunity for stronger relationships between teachers and students. The teachers have been incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my understanding of the material.

The online materials provided by the school are user-friendly and easy to comprehend. I have encountered minimal issues when working with the labs and other online resources they offer.

This school is a hidden gem within the small community it serves. Not only does it provide quality education, but it also offers networking opportunities that can lead to employment both during and after completing the program of your choice.
