I had a great experience at London Dermatology Centre for my acne treatment. Dr Chopra really took the time to understand my skin history and prescribed a routine that finally worked. My confidence is back after years of breakouts!

Only post positive reviews
It seems that Doctify will only publish positive reviews, which when you think about it makes sense from their perspective as healthcare providers need to pay a subscription to be featured on the platform. I have had personal experience with this, leaving a negative review for the TRT clinic in Dublin which Doctify have yet to publish and the review was written 3 months ago. I emailed Doctify over 2 months ago to flag this and query why my review has not been published and they said it needed to go to a governance committee meeting in October. I emailed again in November twice with a week break in between and now I am receiving no replies. I will continue to email Doctify and explore what ever means I have available to ensure I am given a reason for my review not being published.

Seems Doctify only accepts positive reviews
I contacted Doctify several times to submit an honest review of a surgeon who operated on me - three times in total - and never received a single response.
My review was never published, and no one from Doctify followed up.
This makes me question how transparent or independent their review process really is. Since the platform is provider-paid, I can only assume that less positive feedback is filtered out or ignored.
For that reason, I would advise readers to treat Doctify reviews with scepticism. A platform that claims to promote trust and transparency in healthcare should publish all genuine patient experiences, not just the flattering ones.

Be careful signing up, cancelling is not an option with doctify.
Be very careful signing up for this service as a health care provider or doctor. They try to tie you into an extended contract and decline your requests to cancel. The customer account portal is designed to show what they want to charge you but absolutely no means of cancelling. Extricating yourself from them is very difficult and I have been trying for months to cancel but they won't.

Treatment at Cavell Hospital, Enfield
My son had a colonoscopy yesterday. This is a big shoutout for Nurse Jane (aka Tarzon's partner 😂). Her blend of clinical competence, empathy and humour was very impressive and greatly appreciated. She certainly knows how to put a patient at ease. The rest of the clinical staff were great but 5-stars for 5-star Jane!
consultation about my knee
my experience yesterday was very helpful & informative.

A consultation with Mr Mark…at Duchy hospital, Truro.
I had a consultation with Mr Mark Norton on Thursday 18 September at Duchy hospital, Truro, with regard to getting a left hip replacement. Mr Norton replaced my right hip in 2004and it is still very comfortable now. Mr Norton is courteous and friendly and very polite and helpful. He explained the procedure to me and arranged my initial assessment immediately to save me traveling back to the hospital later. I was delighted with the service I received and it was easy to understand Mr Nortons description of the procedure. I am very grateful for the kind attention I received from Mr Norton.

Scam website
Just realised doctify removed my negative review on Dr.Fishman as all other he had this website is made for weak doctors that can pay their way for positive reviews so ordinary people get caught. Do not use this website to look for specialists.

Patients right to respond
The problem with generic email addresses is that they are either answered by AI or by an unnamed individual. I reviewed a dr last year. I cannot name her here as she does not take kindly to criticism and I fear for my safety if I did. Here is the sequence of events.
14/2/24 Consultation. I was very unhappy with her attitude so I wrote to her afterwards. I was mindful that anyone can have an off day and that she might be experiencing stress in her personal life, so I went out of my way to be sympathetic. I got no response so I went through the practice complaint procedure. They did not follow the procedure correctly, but it was agreed that the dr would listen to my concerns. She then reneged from this commitment. She claimed to have learned from my feedback, despite not being willing to speak to me and being unable to say what she'd learned.
19/6/24 Submission of Doctify review. I gave her 4 months to listen, but I reluctantly concluded that it was my responsibility to go public with my concerns.
2/7/24 My review was published. I was told at the time the delay was due to technical issues. I have no reason to doubt this.
9/8/24 When I casually checked, I found that the review had disappeared! As you can imagine, I was cross about this infringement of my free speech. I still don't know when it was removed, but I should have been notified. That is standard procedure with Trust Pilot - if they remove a review, they inform the writer of the reasons and give them the chance to respond. I keep asking the question, what would have happened if I hadn't checked?
You now say: It seems from your feedback that your review was flagged but then reviewed by our before being published.
As noted above, the review was published but later removed. I was later told: a provider can flag reviews within 3 months, which puts them through our Clinical Governance process. By ‘the provider’, I presume that it was the dr who flagged it. That's fair enough, but I should have been told at the time the review was removed and invited to respond. It may well have been removed for a full month before I spotted this. When exactly was it referred for Clinical Governance review? When I enquired, Doctify at first denied any knowledge of the missing review!
22/8/24 The review was reinstated, but accompanied by some grossly misleading comments by the dr. For example:
She claimed that everything possible was done (by the practice) to reassure me. Well, she could have tried speaking to me, which is all I was asking for.
She thanked me for my feedback, having tried to get it removed and separately gone to extreme lengths to silence me.
She said that all her other feedback is positive. In fact 36% of her reviews on Google are one star, all making the same criticisms as me and all published after she claimed she'd learned from my experience.
Her comments were addressed to me in the second person (while intended for a wider audience) and referred directly to my case, so despite your claims about anonymity, she’d clearly identified me. I particularly object to her claim that ‘we’ did everything possible to reassure ‘you’ (me), which is simply untrue. The practice did what they could, despite a total lack of co-operation from the dr. You accredit drs, not their practices, so what they did is irrelevant. If I’m to retain my anonymity, she should restrict her comments to general observations. Please remove this sentence.
My problem with your business model is that doctors know who has booked through Doctify and that they are likely to place reviews, so they can make a special effort, maybe allow some extra time. I'm sure you wouldn't want independent patients to be treated as second class, which seems to be what this doctor is doing (hence the very different reviews on Google). At best, your reviews are not representative of all patients.
Once I was denied the right to correct the dr, I considered withdrawing my review rather than being associated with her comments, which of course is what she wanted. It's bound to make me wonder how many other reviews drs have meddled with.
In the interests of transparency and natural justice, please let me have a detailed explanation of the events between 2nd July and 9th Aug 2024, including copies of your operating procedures and all correspondence with the dr. Why was I not consulted when my review was removed? What triggered the clinical governance process - the review being flagged by the dr, or my objection on 9/8/24?
I'm sure you're aware of the public debate about free speech in the context of some high profile cases recently. I have been taken aback by the ongoing support I have received from campaigning organisations, so at some point they may wish to speak to you. Patients should have access to the clinical governance process and the dr should not always have the last word.
Samantha is great representative of Doctify
Today I had an online meeting with Samantha. An excellent communicator , listened carefully to my concern and addressed them.

Doctify do not post negative reviews
Doctify do not post negative reviews! It’s a misleading site that is in league with Doctors.
I know of several concerns raised with them regarding a urologist at the Gwent in Newport but they won’t post the reviews!
Don’t trust Doctify it’s not real reviews

Great for unscrupulous doctors, not for patients
Excellent site for unscrupulous practitioners in need of reputation management. Negative reviews, even those in line with their own policies are not accepted. There’ll be a couple of exchanges with a pleasant customer service person who’ll “look into it” before you get ghosted. Not helpful for patients but great for doctors.
