Excellent sessions for over 40s women
Really well thought-out bite-sized sessions for over 40s women. I can definitely feel the benefit after only my first four weeks, and I've never done any training before. Lovely instructor too, Luke has made me feel very welcome and has a great encouraging approach.
Very friendly and welcoming
Very friendly and welcoming. I was definitely not in my comfort zone at all but was made to feel comfortable and reassured by Jane. Really enjoy the classes and starting to feel more confident and fitter with each session!
These classes have been a great boost…
These classes have been a great boost to my confidence in exercising as prior to this I was nervous towards the idea of joining a class.
Jane and Max are great instructors keeping the classes well co-ordinated with a warm friendly but professional touch. They keep you motivated and encourage you to progress and challenge yourself. I have seen an improvement not only in my fitness but in my general confidence when exercising. Their positive attitude and warmth puts you at ease making exercise enjoyable and not intimidating.
I would recommend the classes to everyone, whatever your levels of fitness to try the classes.
Boost your Body Programme…
Enjoyed being part of the online programme. The one to one texts with a trainer/nutritionist helped plus you also have a what’s app group as well to talk to other participants and share ideas and your success if you like. You also have the opportunity to join an online exercise class which definitely gets your heart racing and tones your body. Plus you can choose different classes to suit you. I also took part in the programme previously face to face and enjoyed the strength training and the trainers were great and very supportive. I liked it was a small class max of 9 so you feel a bit special without paying for a personal training. The nutrition information is very easy to follow and I like that you have goals to achieve each day which pushes you to do it. I would recommend Boost your body to help with your weight loss and build on your fitness.
BOOST YOUR BODY
I found the whole experience to be very positive. I feel physically and mentally motivated to join Boost Your Body, after the initial trial. The instructors are professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. I've never been a big fan of exercise, but my opinion has totally changed.
The 21 day trial programme is BRILLIANT
The 21 day trial programme was a game changer for me. As I've always struggled with my weight, food and exercise. But within the 21 days, and the support from Natalie my nutritionist and Max my trainer, I've started to build healthy and good habits into my routine and that's where it starts. It's made it possible for me to maintain a balance with my work and lifestyle but also for my body transformation. I've learnt so much about my body and feel so great and energised after each workout session with Max. He really helps you to push on, and yes you will feel it on your first session because he works you hard! But just keep turning up! I feel so much stronger and fitter than before. I definitely recommend boost your body to anyone thinking about trying it out. Do it! Just do it! 5* from me!
Online trial
I did the online 30 day trial and enjoyed the experience. The instructors were encouraging and good at offering different options according to ability. Having set times to attend live classes was also a good motivator for me!
A kick-start to feeling stronger
The 21-day trial has been great motivation to get back into exercise and thinking about what I’ve been eating. The studio instructors are very encouraging - by the third week I was using heavier weights than I imagined I could. It was also no problem getting the nutritional advice tailored to my needs as a coeliac with one kidney. I’ve started making progress towards my goal of feeling stronger and I’ve also lost a couple of pounds!
BYB 21 day trial…
I joined BYB on the 21 day trial course. The small group exercise classes with Max have been fantastic. The studio is small and friendly and all the women have been welcoming and inclusive. Max tailors the exercises to individual need and is knowledgeable on all health and fitness subjects. There is also an app with diet and nutrition support to hand as well as online classes. I highly recommend Boost Your Body for any ladies looking to improve their fitness, strength, or just to get moving again in a fun and friendly environment.
Wish I had signed up earlier
Wish I had signed up earlier! Absolutely amazing studio, brilliant classes and because groups are small you get really good one to one advice. I'm one of the biggest ladies there and everyone has been so friendly and helpful. The home workouts are handy and the nutritional help has given me more understanding of what to do. Can't wait for my next session. I feel stronger already.
Disappointing experience
Basically expensive gym sessions. The addition of a few emails doesn’t make it a “programme” in my opinion. You also need to be reasonably fit and strong due to the intensity of the workouts, so not really any good for beginners despite that being the target market. Not interested when I indicated I was struggling mid-way through the 12 session block but, since you pay upfront, why would they be as they already had my money.
