Could have installed without it. Tightening by hand not possible as not strong enough to finish screwing in all way. Had to use battery screwdriver to finish job

That pack is designed to make installation easier and give a bit of extra convenience, though it sounds like you managed to get the job done just fine with your battery screwdriver 💪🔧 We don't recommend this as people can over tighten the screws and shear them but sounds as if you did a great job.

All that is needed for correct installation, saves having to ‘shop around’.

Using the drill provided (should it be the next size up?) ensured that the screws were extremely difficult to screw in using the screwdriver provided. The handle is just not big enough. I had to find a larger screwdiver so as to get enough purchase on the screws.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the screws and screwdriver provided made installation difficult. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as this helps us review the tools and instructions we provide to make installation easier in the future. Bricks can differ in hardness. The 5mm drill is suitable for most substrates, however in harder brick, which it sounds like you have, sometimes a larger hole is required to allow the screw to cut into the brick, and like wise, in softer brick, a smaller hole is needed. Apologies again that you had this issue but glad you managed to install it and hope it gives you many years of service.

Drill bit and screwdriver feel of good quality construction and work effectively, as desired. Feel there may be benefit of including a 4 mm drill bit where recommended in online YouTube installation, as a pilot hole.

The tools in the fitting pack were of good quality. Not something that was intended for single use. Anchor screws and drill bit worked well into ironstone walls

This reasonably priced fitting pack is worth buying and the quality is good, this saves looking for the right masonry drill and torx driver , all you need is a combi drill.

Difficult to use, the screwdriver handle needs to be larger with a better handgrip.
