As I said previously the workman was very polite and arrived really quickly but HE did not solve our problem even though I paid £100+ for the call out before he arrived (even though 0800 Homefix Ltd)don't like to call it a call out charge), he took a long time looking around the flat at the water tank, outside for the other water source (because the £100 was for an hour) but not actually at the source of the problem, the pump or the flow regulater which I later discovered with the help of another plumber from another company who did solve the issue and my shower is now working! No work was carried out by 0800 Homefix that visit but they then sent me a quote for £3,000+ for suggested work which would have been totally unnecessary work!

Very good, on time, polite, friendly, did a good quick job.

Mum - nearly 90, lives alone - needed a heating engineer. We called at 10.20 and were promised a visit by 5pm. We paid up front for the same day service and were told an invoice was sent while we were on the phone. Had to call back 3 hours later as no invoice received - the helpline person had got my email wrong (we have previously used the company which she was aware of, so I’m unsure how she made this mistake).
Once we got the invoice it showed some of the detail of the job was wrong (she recorded there was hot water coming from the shower - if that was the case we wouldn’t need anyone to attend). We called the company again to make them aware.
No engineer visited. Had to call again at the end of the day, only for the original helpline person to say she had booked mum in for a different date. It’s astonishing she could get so much wrong taking one straightforward call. My poor mum wasted a day waiting in for a visit that never happened.
The visit was rescheduled for the next day. The company then sent me a message saying the engineer was on his way and could be tracked using a link. The link didn’t work - so had to call them again.
Adam, the engineer did call me with an ETA which he kept to. He was really helpful and resolved the issue quickly and effectively, I’m grateful to him. But the customer receptionist was atrocious and really let down her company - if I made that many errors in my job I’d be sacked. I’m left wondering why I paid for a same day call out which we never received.

The plumber James Turner and his apprentice were very polite and helpful. They quickly identified the issue that had prevented my washing machine from being installed on initial delivery. They fixed the problem, removed the old machine and installed the new one all for the original call out fee. Very impressive.

Elliot was exceptional. He was friendly and efficient, fixed everything I needed help with and explained everything I needed to know. I mentioned at the beginning that I am on a tight budget, so he didn’t do anything that would have cost extra without checking first, and he was very considerate about that. Would definitely recommend. Booking system with the office was easy and efficient, the provided plenty of updates before the job. No problems, paid exactly what I was quoted and the work is done.

Had a visit to replace a leaking toilet being replaced, very good service. Slight issue with the existing angled connector, had to pop out to pick up a new one which took 10 minutes and took us over two hours but the knocked that time off. So far happy.

Charlie was great, we had a leak and I had no clue where to start he talked me through everything and all my options / solutions and made the whole experience really simple and easy to understand. 10/10 service would recommend.

It was extremely easy to book an appointment and process was seamless and assistant will to support. Plumber Sean Allan arrived on time and was extremely helpful and very informative. Job was very thorough. Great customer service end to end and would highly recommend

Called 0800HomeFix for a leaking bathroom sink. I was initially charged £120 and understood this to be the fixed price for the work. Once the engineer arrived, the price increased to over £260 for what turned out to be a relatively straightforward bottle trap replacement completed within around an hour.

The sink was fixed successfully, so no complaints about the engineer himself, but the pricing and communication left a very poor impression. The replacement part itself is inexpensive and readily available, so the final bill felt massively disproportionate to the work carried out.

When I queried the charge afterwards, I received long generic explanations about “fixed-price contracts” and “project management” rather than a clear explanation of why such a minor plumbing job ended up costing so much.

Overall, the experience left me feeling misled on pricing and I certainly wouldn’t use the service again. And would advise others not to

absolute rip off, took 2 months to fix a dripping tap, came twice without the right parts, really expensive and terrible service, will never use them again.

This morning James t came to my house to put a new tap on 10/10 work from him.
And a friendly man easy to talk to.

Charlie was phenomenal. His assessed my bathroom tap situation really quickly. Since it needed to be replaced, he popped out to get the parts in a very speedy trip and then carried out the necessary work to a very high standard. I’m very pleased with the results!!

I had 2 visits altogether on successive days, and both men who came were friendly, polite and efficient. The main problem was fixed on the second visit - not cheap, but all the equipment was brought to find the solution, which was effected swiftly

We would just like to say, Luke was amazing! A methodical assessment, quickly identifying the issue and resolving in quick time.

Clean and tidy work with no dramas to worry about after. We have peace of mind and would highly recommend to others!

Darren fixed all our plumping issues quickly and left it tidy. Even managed not to wake a sleeping baby!

Lee Duggan attended my flat to sort out the water pressure on my shower. I found him to be very friendly and knowledgable and respectful and on time . I will go with 0800 Homefix from now on to fix any problems in my flat
