Fixed a pair of glasses I had bought from them a while ago with no quibbles. Didn't charge for new nose pads when one fell off.
The best optician you will ever find
I could not be more happy.
I have been struggling with my eye sight for a while.
While Boots just dismissed my concerns and made it very difficult to get an appointment even as a paying patient, these opticians saw me back in November.
They offered me an enhanced examination to exclude any problem, then gave me a prescription for office lenses.
I had to go back this month as was in pain again.
I have now a prescription for varifocal lenses.
They really know how to treat their customers and make them feel that their concerns matter. (Any concern from the biggest fear of having a serious issue to the apparently most trivial ones like choosing the most flattering frame!
I could not be happier!!!
Peebles branch
Visited 2020 in Peebles to get dad a new hearing aid.
Moira at reception is very warm and welcoming.
Rachel the audiologist was so good and patient with dad and took the time to explain how his new aids work in layman’s terms. She clearly knows her target audience.

When it comes to our health we all get anxious. I have been struggling with my vision for a while. Other opticians have dismissed my concerns. At 2020 they know that health is the most important thing we have. They carried out enhanced examinations to give me peace of mind. They explained everything clearly. They even helped me choose my first glasses (impeccable taste!).
I did not feel like a number...I am so happy!!

Went for eye test ,got glasses also…
Went for eye test ,got glasses also ordered contact lenses,When I went to have my glasses fitted I also asked if my lenses were in,The optician forgot to order them in ,I had another appointment on 11/9 at 9oclock as I have high pressure.So went into shop only to be told the Optician is running late,A junior lady started doing my appointment,then the Optician finally appears,I asked her about my lenses she told me they were ordered on the 10/9 ,this was about 6-7 weeks after I first ordered them,Then the young lady came through as said the contacts were in,couldn’t get them fitted as I still had anesthetic drops in my eyes,so now I’ve got to go back in,Seven weeks I waited then all of a sudden they get delivered within a day,Very disappointed with the service from optician also trying to fob me of with lies,

Poor experience at 2020 Opticians, Gorgie (Edinburgh)
Appointment booked with 2020 in Gorgie for a number of weeks for an eye appointment. I have been a customer of 2020 for some years but this was the first time I was going to this branch.
All communication was on line and received a reminder on Thursday (two days before the Saturday appointment) to attend, via email.
Turned up to the appointment to be told that the appointment was cancelled. Informed that they would have phoned to cancel earlier in the week. Pointed out that all communication with them was online. I did receive a call from an unknown number on the tuesday that week, which I did not pick up (and had a reminder two days after to tell me to attend).
The two people behind the desk, full of smiles, said that is just how the system works and there was nothing they could do about it. I stood there waiting for a few seconds as they typed on a computer (I assumed they were going to ask about rebooking an appointment), only after 10 seconds they looked up and smiled but said nothing. Asked if that was that was it (ie no appointment so should leave), and they said yes...
I am so frustrated. Taking time out of the day to to make an appointment. For the company to not use technology in a joined up way to keep customers properly informed.
And to have two uninterested guys who looked like they were delighted to have a quiet day doing nothing (certainly not try and help customers), was the icing on the cake.
A really poor experience and have no intention of visiting this branch again.

Visited the Ayr branch with my vision prescription and was just looking at frames as I couldn’t find any locally that I liked, Ross served me and was great.. patient and reassuring and after weeks of searching I found a pair I liked and this was only due to Ross’s product knowledge and perseverance, The glasses were ready super quickly and I couldn’t be happier!!

Stirling branch- shout out to Morgan for being so incredible. I am very particular with my glasses, I gave Morgan a description of what I like and he found a frame for me first try. Morgan has an amazing eye and honesty for what looks best for your face/complexion to make sure you’re getting the best glasses suited for you. Excellent service
I have been a patient of 2020 Queen St for approx 10 years now, along with my family. Service is consistently excellent in all areas. The environment is welcoming and friendly. I recently updated my glasses and received the most brilliant service from James that I have received in any retail / medical environment, on every visit, he could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend this business. David is a hands on manager and always has a warm welcome.

Eyelass removal
As I am still waiting for an NHS operation for inturned eyelid, I have been back a few times to have the regrowing eyelashes removed. 20 20 are great at giving me short notice appointments/ cancellations. All staff are so pleasant and understanding

Shocking service
I had a terrible time with the Saltcoats branch . Was told I would get glasses 7-10 days . 20 days later still no glasses . Excuses everyday and staff giving me different stories everyday. Different staff said different things . Eventually I asked for a refund .. I’ll never go back to them . So dissatisfied I had to chase them up every day for a week

Visited the Stirling Branch today and met the team.
Superb experience. They were supportive, friendly and very experienced. Morgan had a very good eye for the style of frame to suit my face and arranged a transfer from previous opticians. A hugely enjoyable experience of humour along with very professional practice. Totally recommend. A happy customer.
