20i are simply the best hosting company… OUTSTANDING customer service

20i are simply the best hosting company out there. We've had numerous times we've had to call on their customer support and they are simply outstanding.
We've just had to do a website migration of a busy ecommerce site back to 20i and again relied on Cory to guide us through and assist.
Without Cory, we'd have struggled. Simply amazing

A hosting company that goes the extra mile!

I've been using 20i for years now, both with my old business and since I started this one. I've continued to both use and recommend 20i as they consistently go that extra mile when support is needed.

On top of this, they are always upgrading and innovating, which is exactly what any business should want from a UK web host.

Also, thanks to Louie R for making my Monday less stressful.

20i Infrastructure Is Fundamentally Incompatible with WooCommerce

We ran a high-volume WooCommerce bakery business on 20i's Managed WooCommerce Optimised VPS for nine months. The core, unresolved problem: 20i's edge caching layer cannot reliably exclude authenticated sessions and WooCommerce cookies from the cache.

For WooCommerce to function correctly, pages like the cart, checkout, and order confirmation must be served dynamically, bypassing cache entirely for logged-in users and anyone with an active session cookie. On 20i, this exclusion did not work as it should. The result was that customers were repeatedly served stale, cached versions of the checkout - empty cart states, broken session data, and silently failed transactions.

Orders didn't fail visibly. They just didn't arrive. We would watch traffic come in and no orders follow. Then, when cache layers were manually cleared, orders would arrive in a cluster, confirming they had been obstructed, not abandoned. We demonstrated this live with our new host: items could not be added to the cart until cache was cleared at the backend.

Over sixty support tickets and nine months later, this was never resolved at the infrastructure level. The default response was to blame plugins, sending us on a wild goose chase.

WooCommerce requires a hosting environment that understands session-aware cache exclusion as a baseline. 20i does not reliably provide this. For any serious ecommerce business, that is a dealbreaker.

Since migrating to a host where cache bypass rules for WooCommerce cookies and sessions are correctly implemented by default, our order flow has been consistent and uninterrupted.

Substandard across the board

Something has clearly changed at 20i’s end and they aren’t being honest or transparent about what it is.

We have a lot of sites hosted with them and we’ve noticed a lot of inconsistency with load speed on sites; sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s terrible. There are also some very strange caching issues where we’ve found content changes made by clients don’t always show up on the front end despite us having checked all of the caches are configured correctly in the sites, edge caching enabled etc. Despite asking 20i about these issues countless times, the responses to our support tickets are always dismissive and unhelpful.

As a result of the poor/inconsistent performance of the hosting we’ve lost some clients, so we are making the decision to move away from 20i in the coming weeks.

We’ve been loyal customers for years, I don’t understand why 20i don’t seem to care that their service is below par.

Terrific company

Terrific company. They always respond quickly, efficiently, and courteously. This applies to sales department (Ben) and technical support (Joshua). They even make good use of AI, which gave a first response within minutes, and in most cases would have solved the problem. But when taken further, real humans intervened quickly and effectively. Good work.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with some fantastic hosts over the past twenty years, but this one truly stands out. They’re incredibly helpful and offer the best support I’ve ever experienced. The control panel is straightforward to navigate, and the support team is fantastic, especially when it comes to tickets and live chat. You can configure servers in various countries all within the same control panel, and if you ever have any questions or run into a snag, they’re usually quick to respond, often within a minute.

20i are fantastic. We've been resellers for them for some time and have had absolutely no issues with them at all. No downtime, support, when required, is always timely and thorough.

Tried it out and decided to cancel…

Tried it out and decided to cancel after 1 week... there is no place to cancel and they make you reply to a ticket multiple times, but still didnt cancel, I am still getting billed even after chasing multiple times on a cancellation ticket... no email replies and my ticket keeps getting closed... shocking

Outstanding Company! Glad I made the move to these guys!

Been with these guys for just over a year! Not had any issues until tonight! Website went down and I panicked! Made contact through chat support and everything was resolved within 5 minutes IMPRESSED! They have been so reassuring in support. Always answered my questions within a quick time!

Total disaster buying a domain and hosting…

Total disaster buying a domain and hosting from here have 2 sites with them neither is working,, I bought 1 domain 10th Feb and tried to get wordpress working on it and customer service are struggling to reset the site.

On top of this I have another site fully functioning and working and now since they are trying to fix the first domain issue this has impacted this working site.

The clients for both this sites are angry and I can not understand why both sites would be down when I said there was an issue with one of them.

I would strongly suggest to think twice bringing clients here for hosting as this looks so unprofessional from my side and makes me look stupid.
