Great Jacket with prompt delivery. I would have scored 5stars only for the shop to leave the security magnet inside the jacket. I now have to bring the jacket back to the shop to remove the magnet. Defeats the purpose of buying this jacket online. Otherwise everything is grand (Martin P)

We’re very sorry to hear that the security tag was left inside the jacket. That certainly should not have happened.

Most larger retailers such as Tesco or Dunnes can remove security tags for you if you show your proof of purchase. If they need confirmation, they are welcome to call any of our stores and we can verify the purchase directly.

While this does not undo the inconvenience, we hope it saves you a longer journey and allows you to have it resolved locally and quickly.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. I placed an order in good faith, only for it to be cancelled due to a "stock error" on their end. While mistakes happen, it’s how a company handles them that matters—and this company is a masterclass in poor customer service.
Instead of making it right, they offered a "goodwill" discount that was so heavily restricted it was practically useless. When I tried to find a resolution, I was met with a cold, scripted response quoting the Consumer Rights Act and telling me they had no "contractual obligation" to do anything more than refund my money.
Providing a refund for an item you couldn't actually supply isn't "good service"—it’s the bare minimum required by law. They clearly have no interest in customer loyalty or basic accountability. If you want a company that actually values your business and keeps their inventory accurate, look elsewhere. Avoid.

We’re sorry to hear that this experience was disappointing and we understand how frustrating it is when an order cannot be fulfilled due to a stock error.

As soon as the issue was identified, the order was cancelled and fully refunded. In addition to this, our team made several attempts to find a suitable resolution by offering alternative jackets, including newer season jackets that were not on sale at the original sale price, as well as comparable jackets available at the same sale price.

Unfortunately, the only outcome requested was a specific jacket and colour that was already out of stock and will not be returning for the season. As much as we tried to find an alternative, this was not something we were able to supply.

While a full refund is the required resolution in this situation, our team went beyond this in an effort to reach a fair outcome. We regret that we could not meet the specific request and that this led to dissatisfaction.

We appreciate all feedback and remain committed to treating customers fairly and transparently when issues arise.

Fleecejakke lugtede af parfume ved modtagelse

Jeg købte en Patagonia fleece i deres webshop i januar måned i år. Ved modtagelse lugtede den kraftigt af parfume, og den var heller ikke pakket ind i plastemballage, som nyt tøj fra andre webshops ofte er. Jeg skrev en klage til kundeservice og spurgte, om der er tale om en brugt vare. Det er nu ti dage siden, og jeg har stadig ikke hørt fra dem.

Forsendelsen fra Irland til Danmark tog i øvrigt seks arbejdsdage (bestilt 12. januar, sendt 13. januar, modtaget 20. januar), så man skal væbne sig med tålmodighed.

We are also sorry that we are unable to reply in Dutch. Unfortunately, we can only offer customer support in English at the moment, but we hope this is okay.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the Patagonia fleece. All items we sell are new and unworn. Many of our online orders are fulfilled directly from our physical stores, which means items are not always sealed in individual plastic packaging, unlike warehouse-only webshops. This does not mean the item has been used.

That said, the strong scent you described should not have been present, and we fully understand why this caused concern. We are looking into this internally to ensure our handling standards are consistent and if this was from a store employee.

We apologise again for the lack of response over the past days as we has seen unprecedented demand on our online store.. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and your feedback has been shared with the team so this is handled more promptly going forward.

Shocked and sadened !!

Manager said i needed a receipt to complain about a yetti bottle i purchased €50 , i did not keep receipt as i thought i love it I dont need an exchange .this a structural problem its chipping where i hold it . I told Robert I paid with Revolut so could establish time and date and location I bought but no not able to help , he would not tell me area manager name said he was away Robert was store manager and his word was final he said i could come to shop with bottle but not his problem without a receipt Shocking customer service , really bad ive spent so much money over thr years at 53 degrees north carrickmines feel sad

Find the staff friendly, knowledgeable and not in your face,
All products I bought have been top notch and used my 10 pc discount last 3 times ( Irish mountaineering membership)

Ignored in shop

I walked into the store in Blanchardtown with a €500 budget for walking shoes and sleeping bag. I was the only person in the shop and I was completely ignored by the staff for at least 20 minutes.
So I just walked out.

No returns or replacements

I tried returning a faulty product (gloves that started disintegrating after 2 weeks) to the Arnotts shop but was directed back to the branch I purchased it in (Carrickmines). What's the point of having branches if they cannot deal with your customer base? Avoid
