AMC have an amazing platform for all levels of learning no matter what background of life you come from when you start this celebrant journey you feel supported, welcomed and with the additional areas to gain further knowledge it is worth the investment. AMC provides a safe place to air your views and gain knowledge and support from others which has made my experience really great. I have completed two modules now having felt very daunted at first. I’m now really excited to be starting my third course in the future and becoming a master celebrant.

I’ve just completed the online Wedding Celebrant Certification and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, course access was super easy and everything was laid out in a clear, structured way, which made it simple to stay organised and on track.

The course content was well thought out, engaging, and practical, and I really appreciated the ongoing support throughout the whole process. The guidance provided helped keep me motivated and confident as I progressed through each stage.

My mentor was especially helpful and always supportive, encouraging, and full of valuable advice. Their feedback and guidance made a huge difference and really helped build my confidence.

Overall, this course exceeded my expectations and I’d highly recommend it to anyone considering becoming a celebrant. It’s a well-designed, supportive programme that genuinely sets you up for success.

Completing the Funeral Celebrant Course has been one of the most grounding and professionally enriching decisions I have made.
This course refined many of my skills and channelled them specifically into the art of holding space during grief.
What stood out most was the balance between compassion and professionalism. It is not simply about delivering a service. It is about guiding families through one of the most vulnerable days of their lives with clarity, steadiness and respect.
The training gave me confidence in the legal framework, structure of ceremony, voice delivery and the deeper responsibility that comes with representing someone’s life story. It reinforced that being a funeral celebrant is not about performance. It is about presence.
For anyone considering this path, I would say this: if you are called to serve families with dignity, warmth and strength, this course equips you properly. It challenges you to think carefully, listen deeply and lead with integrity.
Just Do It

I enjoyed the fact that the course can be done in your own time so that I can work on the course around my current schedule. Emailing the team and getting a response back was very good especially during of peak times, ( e.g. on a Sunday night). Despite having learning difficulties, the course is very manageable and their is a lot of support for those who may need it.

I found the corse easy to navigate and learnt so much. Both my tutors were fantastic, communicated well and very encouraging

The AMC community is very supportive and friendly, particularly inside the Facebook Group. If you have a question about the coursework there will always be someone who has seen your post and can give you guidance. Due to my working schedule I only managed to attend 2 of the weekly drop-in calls but again, they are a great chance to meet others doing the same thing and bounce ideas about.

Working through the coursework gave me a lot of food for thought and I did learn things that I wouldn't have otherwise.

I think for me personally I wasn't able to engage with the group learning element as much during my time going through the wedding celebrant course due to my regular job and personal things going on. Had I been able to do that I would have gotten even more from it.

The role of a celebrant was something that I researched in detail before deciding to embark upon the training. When I came across the AMC signing up for the training made sense. The course is so detailed considering all aspects of the role of funeral celebrancy. I completed the course with a really detailed understanding of the funeral industry and the role of a celebrant within that. My mentor was brilliant and supported me through my final stages of the training. Thank you all at AMC.

I've completed weddings and namings now - privileged to have worked with two mentors, veterans in their field. got a bit emotional after receiving such positive feedback on Namings from Julie - it's given me exactly the push I need to make this business a reality!

All I can say is, please do this, for you! As an expat, and a mum of two under three. I had somewhat lost myself. A friend sent me a link to an AMC Facebook ad the best part of two years ago and although I was intrigued, I kept putting off doing anything about it.

Now isn’t the right time. I’m busy with the kids. I don’t have the right experience.

Everything I told myself was a simply an excuse. Excuses that were holding me back from making a decision, that would set me on a path to regaining my sense of self.

I’m not sure what pushed me over the line, but I eventually decided to enrol. That was in September and I have just completed the course.

I feel invigorated and excited for the future. My mentor was absolutely priceless, the course material was invaluable and the ongoing support is fantastic.

I truly can’t wait for where this career will take me and my family.

Just go for it. Your future self will thank you for it.

I loved training with the AMC. They are an incredible group of celebrants, all working themselves and teaching and training others. So everything you are learning is from experience. You can take the courses online and fit it around other work and family, which is just fantastic. The support during and after graduating is truly a gift. I have enjoyed every moment of my wedding celebrant training with the AMC. The online modules are comprehensive, with videos and workbooks to guide you, backed up by a supportive online network if you have any questions etc. The standout experience for me was moving into the mentor led phase of the training. From the very beginning I knew I had made the best decision of my life to train with AMC and join this wonderful community of Celebrants. There are lots of celebrant courses out there and I spent some time researching them all before choosing the Master Celebrant Training with AMC, and I'm glad I did: it was absolutely worth it. The course gives a comprehensive insight into all aspects of being a celebrant, including the business and marketing side and the learning resources are really well put together and regularly refreshed. The mentors are very knowledgeable and approachable, and being a student with the AMC really welcomes you in to an encouraging, progressive and professional community. From knowing very little about celebrancy at the beginning, I feel absolutely prepared and supported to become a professional independent celebrant.

The course was really top notch, on point and practical - it felt like I was being prepared for a real life situation and not just 'studying'!

When studying, you are regularly being taken out of your comfort zone. Especially with the mock funerals. But the modules prepare you for this. I love the videos from current celebrants passing on their advise and wisdom from their own experiences.

The course is excellent and support fantastic. You feel held throughout and someone always there to help if you get stuck along the way. Definitely recommend it

Great training with help.and support. The feeling you get when you come to the end of the training and your mentor says that you have passed your live is amazing.

I have now completed both the funeral and wedding certifications, and I can’t fault it.
