If I could rate 0 I would. This pharmacy should really just be out of business. I've been trying to get my prescription filled for over a month not including the 3 months from the end of last year which I still never got. This time around same problem and I've given up again. They are clueless. They've approved me for the prescription and gave a delivery date. Then the delivery date comes and they call to say there was a problem, medication never came. This time around I'm literally calling every week to see the hold up, no one ever has the correct answer. I was then told it was rejected by my insurance and to call them to see why. So I did, they stated they have no record of a rejection and gave me a case number to give to the pharmacy to show approval of the medication. Now they can't see the case number I gave. They can't see why it shows rejected. They are t solving the problem. No one is calling me back. I just gave up and asked my doctor to give me any other medication that I don't have to deal with this company. Terrible company. This is sad, these are the lives of people and they're messing around with medications they/ we obviously need.

Due to the general incompetence of every department at Accredo, my medication and treatment are officially a month past due. Accredo is incapable of processing anything in a timely fashion. Additionally, they tried to file my claims in a way that would result in my having to pay a huge cash amount to them, rather than processing it through the submitted prior authorizations (which would mean they received a lower, negotiated, fee from insurance/pharmacy benefits). They kept trying this particular money-grabbing tactic for well over a week. Once we finally got them off of that track, and got the shipment scheduled, they somehow managed to miss getting the medication onto the FedEx truck, resulting in YET ANOTHER UNECCESARY DELAY.

I have spoken with people as high up as I have been allowed, with Hazel, a supervisor, being the latest person to try and explain away Accredo's failings. All I get it a bunch of apologies, and a guarantee that it will not happen again. Considering they have failed at every single task they have been given, I do not have much hope. It is also worth noting that in their attempts to explain away the company's (and its employees) shortcomings, I have been silenced. They simply will not hear what I have to say, choosing instead to ramble aimlessly, making up excuses that do not actually excuse what has occurred. No one at the company cares about your health. They simply want to make as much money off of each patient as they can, and they WILL absolutely sacrifice your health to ensure they get money from patients, and not the lower prices they would receive from benefits providers.

I, unfortunately, have no choice but to use Accredo as my prescription benefits manager is Express Scripts, who gave me no choice but to go through Accredo.

Should not be in business. I work in a doctor's office and the process we have to go through to get specialty medications here is completely unacceptable. They take no responsibility for what they know they are doing wrong. The wait time for benefits verification is beyond ridiculous! We have patients waiting longer than they should have too. My next step is reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. We wouldnt use them at all but we dont have a choice with certain insurances. Horrible service, worst pharmacy!

First of all you should be able to give ZERO STARS! I’ve had the worst experience trying to get my specialty medication filled. I’ve been trying since March 24, 2026 today is April o, 2026 and I’m told it will be Monday April 13,2026 before I can be given an opportunity to set up a delivery date. This is totally unacceptable to say the least. Accredited is my insurance choice as a speciality pharmacy. I wonder why they would chia company with such bad customer service. For this reason I won’t be using the same insurance company next year. I shouldn’t have to suffer without my medication for this long. Please do better for the next customer.

Accredo didn't bill my copay.

Accredo didn't bill my copay for 11 months. The first month got rejected by the copay as too old. Then they didn't tell me for the next 10 months there was problem. I called accredo they told me it would be taken care of. 6 months later I find out I've been turned over to collections. If accredo had billed correctly I wouldn't owe a dime. I've spent over 2 days trying to get this fixed. All I get is the run around on who should pay the bill. All I know is it's not going to be me.

0 stars. Medication was sent and 2 weeks later I get an invoice for $1690. At time of order it showed $0 and after receiving it showed $0. What pharmacy in the United States sends a prescription medication without payment then later bills $1600. Who can afford that?

Can’t be a bigger red flag than this!


I uploaded your insurance information to the Accredo portal on 3/19 and followed up with them on 3/30 for a status update. Initially, the representative informed me that the claim had been rejected as not covered (though we were not notified). However, after reprocessing the claim, it showed as approved.

Because this occurred at the end of the month, the representative explained that they would need to restart the benefit investigation process. I requested that she submit a request to expedite it. I will follow up with them again today, but please note that unfortunately, this process typically takes 4–6 weeks to complete.

Patients who have autoimmune issues are…

Patients who have autoimmune issues are supposed to cut stress levels, not with this pharmacy. I truly do not understand whether they are incompetent or just don't care. My medication for Lupus, which requires refrigeration, arrived 24 hours late with neither ice pack even slightly frozen. Spoke with a pharmacist named Ellie she doesn't give a shit. One box of the medication with the seal broken, she doesn't care. Instructs me to place it into the fridge as she "doubts" that the medication reached room temp; even with me saying yes it did.

**Title:** Four months of delays, errors, and zero accountability

My experience with **Premera** and **Accredo** has been unacceptable from start to finish. After switching insurance, it took over four months just to attempt to get a prescription transferred and filled. During that time, I dealt with constant delays, poor communication, and no clear ownership of the issue.

When the medication finally arrived, it was the wrong order. Instead of fixing their mistake quickly, I was pushed into another department for an “investigation” that will take yet another month. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no concern for the fact that this directly impacts a patient’s health.

These companies operate in a way that feels disorganized and indifferent at best. Essential medications should not take months to fill, and errors should not take weeks to correct.

If you have any choice in your insurance or pharmacy provider, avoid this combination. This has been one of the worst customer and patient experiences I’ve had.

THE WORST

I would give a negative review if possible. A prescription was transferred in February without my knowledge. Prescription and insurance authorization were immediately sent. Myself & the doctor's office have called multiple times a week. They file with the incorrect insurance every time. I have submitted multiple requests to get this fixed. I've waited every amount of time they've told me to wait to get the insurance updated & today told me they can't do anything else. They've lied saying issues were resolved, then I call a week later & I'm told something else. They forced the doctor's office to re-submit the prescription last week, then deleted all previous call records/notes. I am now a month past the date I should have had treatment &it's affecting my ability to work.

Every person I've spoken with who has any knowledge of Accredo (all doctor offices) say it's the worst possible pharmacy to have & I will likely never get my medication.

Why am I talking to them about getting medical medication approved? The whole system is out of its mind.

Every time we call, it is always a different reason why they did not ship the patient their medication. None of the reasons make sense. Accredo turns around and tells the patient it is the office/physician's fault.

If I could give no stars!!my prescription was deleted,and my profile!and I was asked to get another prescription and I still do not have the first prescription and the medication was never sent out.This has been hell.It has been almost 3 months waiting on the pharmacist im doing all the work making phone call after phone call asking where it is.All they keep saying is we have no record of me calling this is insane yet I have emails and texts and voice messages and now they have deleted my entire profile information

Most terrible experience with any company

Missed medication delivery on initial sir prescription due to issue that was only relate in automated messages and poorly time phone calls. Saying that the prescription needed further information from the prescribers office and the prescribers office had not returned. Phone calls. Prescribers‘s Office informed and call placed to company called back call center and was told that prescription would be expedited then three weeks later received a new message that I had to re-enroll in co-pay assistance program and when called was told that further information was needed from doctors office again was not able to speak to a supervisor until a second time on asking supervisor was only able to then say that the reason that prescription was not sent was due to clarification needed on whether prescription was maintenance or loading dosing. When I told the supervisor that it was maintenance though saying she then said I was required to call another number to talk to the pharmacy clarification team, and she cannot pass on that information then she gave me the number which I gave to my provider‘s office. The information was clarified. There’s no documentation from my providers office. Any phone calls from their company had a Callback and then was told that I would receive another call within 24 hours after prescription, it was expedited for you by pharmacist overall it’s terrible experience. If having the option to use other pharmacy besides, Accredo would strongly recommend that very very terrible service. Poor customer support and will likely not receive any apology or fix from the company unclear how they are profitable.
If you are a medication company, I do not recommend you use this company or your medication will likely not be used at all.

1 star is generous. If you're stuck working with Accredo for specialty drugs, you have my pity. Incompetence throughout, start to finish. I don't know why my employer opted for this garbage PBM. I had no issues with the prior PBM. Get ready to waste hours of your day chatting with idiots, navigating impossible phone automations, and having a TSA-style attitude live agent if you can actually get through.

I would give 0 if possible. Everytime I'm do for a refill they say the prescription is expired and to reach out to my doctor. So much back and forth which takes weeks to get it figured out. Do not use them if you have a choice.

I really wanted to give -10.
I am waiting on my prescription for last 8 weeks. Everytime I call them they give me a different answer.
I dont think they should be in the business, high time they pull the shutters. That will be great for patients.

This is the worst company I've ever…

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Every call is 30 minutes. I've had multiple orders canceled multiple times and had to call back. Most recently I've had to call six times to get one order shipped and I still don't have it. The customer service reps follow a script and if it's not something that's in the script, they can't help you. Orders get canceled and you call and ask why and no one can tell you why they just reschedule it and you have to go through the whole 30 minute process all over again only to get canceled again. My insurance forces me to use this company. If I didn't have to use it, I would never use them again in my life. One star is too much for this company.

Accredo is the WORST

Accredo is the WORST. I have been on specialty medication for more than a decade and I have never had problems with getting my medication. Until I was forced into using Accredo by my insurance company (Priority Health). I have been trying to get my med for 8 WEEKS now and still no resolution. Customer service agents and "leadership" agents all just give the runaround. They tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone and then nothing happens. Agents then get angry when you question them. I am beyond frustrated. Going without this medication is devastating. Just getting out of bed in the morning causes excruciating pain. It is obvious that the staff at this pharmacy has NO CARE or CONCERN for the patients that they serve. DO NOT use Accredo if you have ANY other option.
