The worst booking system I've ever seen…
The worst booking system I've ever seen the older systems where you could look at available dates times and doctors works everywhere else but is impossible with accurx nonsense. You get but in the wrong category, inappropriate times, wrong doctors. NHS is getting worse and worse instead of using systems proven to work
If I could rate it zero stars I would
If I could rate it zero stars I would! Firstly, I find it humiliating to have to detail personal information or symptoms without knowing exactly who in the practice has sight of it. Secondly, no matter how much detail I include, Doctors insist on asking me to explain the situation, again. This serves only to delay the process, I can see absolutely no patient benefit or value-add!
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Myself along with multiple family members have had issues with this app. Even with a reference number the drs don't get back to you. They deny all knowledge of you trying to get an appointment or phone call. They say it hasn't shown through on their end. You can stand Infront of them and show them your app and reference and they won't see you. You wait all day if not days for a response to be told we having got anything and to do it again. This has happened multiple times to myself alone. It is shocking service. My husband got a text back to say a Dr had arranged his prescription and to collect it from pharmacy. When he got there the pharmacy said they didn't have anything and said this happends a lot. The drs denied all knowledge of it and said they had no requests from him in their system at that time. Even though he had screen shots to prove it all. He has asthma and ended requiring steroids because his chest became that bad. Serious malfunctions when it effects people health and lives. We pay all this tax and for what? We can't even speak to our own drs surgery anymore. You have to speak to an app and pray it is received at the other end.
Unfit for purpose!
This product is utterly unfit for purpose and certainly cannot scale up for busy periods. Today I have had to type the same information a minimum of 20 times only for the page to crash when trying to submit the request. This is peoples health that is being put at risk but these rank amateurs.
I have autism and dont like using this…
I have autism and dont like using this service, i want to be able to speak to someone to arrange an appointment. My GP refuses to let me do that, so now i have all these symptoms and no GP
Worst thing to ever happen to the nhs,I…
Worst thing to ever happen to the nhs,I genuinely believe this system is killing people
Absolutely below any expectation
Absolutely below any expectation. I had a phone appointment scheduled between 1 pm and 6 pm, so I couldn’t just wait five hours by the phone, and my day went on as usual.
I received a call just before 3 pm while I was driving on the motorway. When I picked up the phone, I said, “Sorry, I’m driving and can’t talk right now.” The reply was, “No worries, I’ll be quick.”
After the call, Accurx changed my medication, and now I’m unable to continue or order my prescription.
Absolutely useless a bunch of amateurs.
This system is not patient friendly.
I spent over an hour going round in circles with this system. Every time I needed to verify with a code, it was sent to a number with 1 different digit to mine. My GP surgery clearly had the correct number as they sent the link (and I double checked). Had to visit the surgery who kept telling me this was impossible - so it ended up with a terse and tearful exchange before I could get an appointment. Horrible for the receptionist and for me. How many people can't get the appointment they need because of this problematic system?
Ridiculous
Ridiculous. Wont let me book anything past one week ahead, which is NO GOOD! So now I have to book just to cancel and rebook! Utterly ridiculously stupid idiotic nonsense system!!!!!!!!!
Why WHY soes the NHS insist on using useless, waste of money third party companies?! PATHETIC!!!
It just doesn’t work
It just doesn’t work. I have no issues with other websites. I will have to phone . What a waste of cash . Employ some more staff would probably have been cheaper. Annoying.
Time wasting and unreliable.
My GP practice requires I use AccuRx to "speak" to them but then phone me to book an appointment!
Several times I have made requests through the system, got a validation code but messages have never reached the surgery. Since I have to allow the surgery two days to respond to requests there is a lot of time wasting.
Site owned by Nepo baby
Won't let me book an appointment won't even load page to show appointments to choose from absolutely rubbish. Just another site adopted by the NHS to pay some very rich Nepo baby who has never done a day's work in there life. Money laundering away from the people who use NHS services
Poor user interface
Poor user interface, 20 plus years out of date, in my case I had to go through the whole process twice just because I was offered a very narrow window of available appointments. Medically, I've raised my symptoms twice already and only on the 2nd time did I get a response. Rubbish
Ghastly
Ghastly - so much typing - my eyes are not good - aqd i type slowly - cannot find an appointment that works as you can if you are talking to a receptionist - alienates patents even more from GPs - needs to be binned
accurx? Not for the elderly.
accurx’s liaison with the NHS seems to be n absolute nightmare for non-tech-savvy old gimmers like me. Tapping on a small screen with links which seem to either go round in circles or lead up “blind alleys” seems to be a waste of my dwindling days. Queuing in the rain is a joy compared to fiddling about on this website.
Impersonal useless system
I'm over 70 and had a fall back in July, damaging my arm. It has not healed so I called into my surgery to see a doctor (not a nurse this time) as I'm now really concerned.
They directed me to Accurx and gave me a link. The link took me straight to an error page. "There was a problem with your appointment booking. Contact your healthcare team so they can book it for you."
Undeterred, I found the same link in my browser and clicked it. Straight in. It was 11:30am midweek.
"Because of the time of day, your practice will not be able to process urgent requests". What is an urgent request?? At 11:30 midmorning?
Available options were either trivial or urgent. None applied. Except one.
"I have a health problem. Contact your GP about a new or ongoing problem". That's it!
"Temporarily unavailable".
What an absolute disgrace this system is. The perfect screen patients can't even see over, let alone climb over.
NHS mess
I’m 78 after six attempts I downloaded app how stupid expecting people to do photo ID followed by video and most of the information the nhs already have.
I’ve looked every day at different times for an appointment there never is any so I will have to phone which defeats the object of the app.
Our doctors had a perfectly good system you knew when appointments were going to be released and acted accordingly.
It’s called progress wouldn’t like to be a doctors receptionist at the moment.
Just another nhs mess.
Customer survey of cancelled appointment
Rec'd several text messages to complete survey re my last appointment. The link does not take you to the questionnaire but to the accuRx site which is unfathomable. To add insult to injury the appointment to which the text refers was cancelled because the diabetes nurse went home sick! Weeks later and I am still waiting for the promised new appointment.
Digital exclusion accelerator for prime clients
The system is not very user friendly and usability is low. Considering the demographic dealing with the NHS, it is applling and increases the digital exclusion of many elderly clients. The privacy notices are meaningless and would discourage anybody from signing-up for the service.
Can't even get logged in
Can't get logged in. Don't even know where to go. All seems to be sales to surgery.
What is an nhs email? Why would I have an nhs email address?
Dog poop
