This is my second purchase from Acumen, I first purchased a beautiful milkmaids stool for my shower room, it is simply stunning. My second purchase were two gorgeous shelves and I am so pleased with them. They are handmade and beautifully crafted. I changed my order to floating shelves some 2 weeks after I placed it and it was no bother at all, their customer service is 1st class I was kept informed throughout the making and delivery process. Now I am justst deciding where else to put more of their wonderful products in my house? Thank you

I highly recommend this company for several reasons.. communication was fantastic from order through to delivery. The rustic console table we ordered was made to our exact requirements and was delivered within the stated timeframe and was very well packaged . It was simple to put together. We ordered our table and 2 benches, it came yesterday and we put it up today, omg what a fantastic job they have done, absolutely amazing, we got ours in Jacobean, amazing amazing is all I can say, thankyou so much acumen was well worth the wait for such an amazing table and bench’s, from start to finish been so easy and they let you no at each stage, I even messaged on what’s app as I struggled with sizes and I got a reply more or less straight away, well worth every penny, if ur going for one of these sort of tables then go to acumen 🥰🥰

Terrible company and owner. Item I ordered had 3 delays and when it was finally scheduled for delivery (12 weeks later) their delivery company, Provia, stated it had failed to be collected. After chasing it up I received a response days later stating it has failed quality checks and has to be remade. 30 minutes after I received this email I cancelled it following my rights under the consumer rights act. Since then I have received many emails and WhatsApp message with a lot of lies on their part and them refusing a refund. I am only just giving a synopsis of this saga. My credit card is on the 2nd attempt to claim the money. The next stage for me is the ombudsman. DO NOT waste your time and money with these people. If I had the time I would write an essay on why you should. Also wait for the common response below of we tried this and we tried that etc etc.

We were attracted to the whole ethos of this sustainable Company. We eventually placed an order for two 60 cm rustic stools. The website provided clarity regarding lead times for delivery. They exceeded expectations actually and delivered well within the timeframe. Their communications were clear, correct and appropriate. Their choice of carrier was outstanding. The product is perfect! Absolutely beautiful. The 'imperfections' are the character and soul of the piece. As we become so accustomed to mass marketed 'perfection' this is a timely reminder of what true beauty and craftmanship looks like.

Awful company. Ordered a console table come absolutely nothing like photo on website. Complained and just got sent a little pot of clear wax and one sanding pad for an orbital sander. Do not waste your money with this company.

Good company to deal with. Fantastic website, easy ordering, fast delivery. Only comment is, a fraction expensive.

We recently ordered a rustic, chunky dining table for our new home. We were looking for something that would be a feature in the space and draw the eye, and Acumen delivered wonderfully.

Our table is beautiful, thick wood with natural knots embedded within. A smooth protected finish and it smells wonderful too. We can't wait to host people and use it for dining as well as game nights.

The team also went out of their way to assist us when contacted, so great customer service too. Very happy, thank you Acumen.

Delayed for 2 months, bullying customers service

Have recently purchased a five shelf unit from Acumen.

The quality is fantastic and just what I was looking for, however what really made them stand out was their customer service. I was missing one part to connect my shelf together, after a smooth communication with Emilia and Kim they were able to get my part to me so I could finally have the shelves up and ready to go. Nothing was too much trouble for them - even sending out two parts when the first one wasn’t quite right. I’d 100% recommend Acumen to anyone looking for good quality furniture and fantastic customer service.

From the start of my order to being delivered, was updated with the progress of my table, and delivery was made as expected in time slot allocated. Once delivered it was pretty straightforward to assemble, the quality is outstanding, very happy indeed and would highly recommend.

when it arrived it was lovely table and bench but a few months in the coating started peeling and i can not get in touch with them to rectify it

Delivery was a little long but the communication was good and very friendly.

The table is beautifully finished. The choice of sizes is great and the ability to have extendable leaves is great. The table was a couple of weeks late but the communication was excellent. The follow up call was a nice touch with some further tips & instructions. Only thing would have made things a bit easier would be the inclusion of illustrated instructions for the assembly. But overall a great experience & would highly recommend 😊

Just got an absolutely beautiful oak table from the signature section. The sun shines through the resin infused table, glowing different colours as the sun sets given it a warm living feeling. Extremely well made and great service from Michael, who call me directly. Great service customer service.

Kept up with delivery along the way as slightly delayed but very happy with my table and worth the wait
