Do not buy anything online with affirm, if there is a chance you’ll need to return it! My daughter purchased two chairs with target and used affirm to pay and they were broken so she had to return them! Target said they’d issue a refund and gave her a gift card they said had .50 cents( something about the shipping fee) and the rest would post to her bank account within a few days. It was never issues, but shows in the system it was fully put on the gift card, which is was NOT!!!! Affirm continues to try to take the payments and we have called both places!! Because target shows it went on the gift card( we do show our original receipt from target that does show it was .50 cents, neither will do anything about it! Target said today we can call and try to get a new gift card, but affirm is still wanting the $100!!!! It’s truly bullshit! Never again with target or affirm

Duped us into paying high Apr and not mentioning how much would be the interest over a period of time when speaking over call for the same , in spite of the main service provider ordering a full refund. Please don’t choose affirm ever again. People reading this review have been warned.

Dog sh*t, worst customer support I've ever experienced, tried making an account for months now same message about not being eligible even though I use other payment plan type apps, support said they could help but spent half an hour transferring me back and forth from department to department. If you're considering affirm just don't, it may work for a time but if anything goes wrong don't count on customer support I'm just gonna make my purchase in full and save myself the hassle

AFFIRM & SHOPIFY GET THIS ONE!

Would give AFFIRM and SHOPIFY a 0 for refunding monies, I would!!! They say dispute with seller company. Then if you don't get any type of resolution before the 130 days, then you are money lost or credit unworthiness to them. Had several successful buys, but if you are looking g to them to get your money back, it will be a mess!!! Orders totaling almost $500 I didn't receive but yet they don't want to give e up the monies. It's not fair to the buyer to deal with ALL this BS from these companies. Affirm and Shopify, yes you are a company also to be put in that category

Avoid at all cost

I have had loans from Affirm which all were paid off early. Since then I keep getting denied even though I have $5800 spending available. Reason being given is my account is locked which I did not do. Customer Service is a joke as I received nothing but attitude when I called. After reading the other complaints I think I am just going to close my account and call it a day.

I used Affirm to buy a product. I never received the product. I provided documentation showing I had canceled the order and never received the product. Still being bill for the $600. No assistance in resolving this issue at all

So I used it for a purchase with the original purchase price of 2100, but purchase price in the end was only 1680 and was under the impression the readjust the price in the end, not the case as the interest will be tacked on first. So now I owe nearly 2400 for a 1680 loan and you have to pay interest first before your loan goes down. They say there’s no prepayment penalty but you have to pay interest as well when prepaying, which seems like a penalty to me and they are getting 2400 for a 1680 loan regardless if I prepay or not. It’s my fault for not reading the fine print but would have never done this loan if I caught that and super frustrating knowing I owe nearly 50% of the loan to them before my loan even goes down. So as a warning, once a payment plan is selected, even if they refund or not the correct price, they won’t change it and you’re stuck.

Constant Circles

2021. Made a purchase through Affirm. Got accepted and made an account with $100 dollar down pay on product I purchased through Affirm. I kept trails of my transactions. Always have always will. I called and asked why transactions were still being taken from my bank account. They asked for confirmation with basic, phone numbers, name on account, email, etc. Once I give my name and number they always say sorry but that phone number is registered under a different name (christopher) we cant do anything unless you contact the person and tell the person to delete his name under the phone number used or to update his cellular information. It is getting frustrated having being bounced around and no progress made. Other thing that is frustrating is when you get soneone with a dialect you can barely understand and also hear becuase the other customer service workers that are in the same room blaring the voices. Affirm needs to get a better system that can avoid the surrounding noises and learn about America's recycling numbers! Had my number for almost 7 years now and still have the exact issues with other businesses!

Affirm Needs Help...Alot of It!

Affirm is turning out to be as much of a SCAM as Soka Home is in their policies. I recently lost my husband who died in my hands and I have been stuck in this twilight zone of a nightmare trying to recover $7600 for furniture I never received and now Affirm is telling me to just wait another 60 days to receive my refund. Thankfully, I paid off the loan from Affirm with my AmEx, where I have a dispute logged against Affirm. When you call, they gaslight you to make you feel like this isn't a real concern or that you just need to be patient and wait. Trust me, I've been doing nothing else but waiting. I will never use them again and I hope that others read the reviews below mine which are all about shady business practices. I'm grieving or at least trying to and babysitting this nightmare.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

This is my fourth time dealing with this company and every time they've lied over charged me and not have backed me up like they said in their policy! you have to jump through hoops to talk to somebody that I can actually understand you this is a scam totally scam. They charge me and then they have their MERCHANT CHARGE , so they both get their money! this is SCAM do not do not use the Affirm, worst ever. You talk to customer service even they don't help you they don't understand this is just BS this is a total ..scam..REPORTED AGAIN TO BBB. CALLED THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. Listen TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

STAY AWAY! Scammers! I got scammed through my ShopPay…

I got scammed through my ShopPay account and the scammers took out a loan for a gamers PC (totalling over $1100) I immediately contacted affirm and the person on the phone seemed so suspicious they honestly got me thinking Affirm IS the scam. They were entirely unhelpful and continued trying to suggest it was me who had made the purchase (despite the purchase being shipped to an address unrelated to me that has tones of reviews saying they got scammed from that address!). They told me it would take a month to investigate the charge and in the meantime there was nothing I could do. This morning I received an email stating that they did not find the charge to be fraud and that I would be responsible for the loan! Then while trying to contact the company that the PC was purchased from I got an email out of the blue saying the order has been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances" I swear it seems like they are all in cahoots with each other and they're hoping you won't notice a loan taken out in your name-- bearing in mind I've never even used affirm before! Anyway, STAY AWAY! I will be cancelling my shop pay account now too cause this is not worth the hassle!

If I could rate them a 0 I would. They claim to have help/support 24/7 but every single option they have, they say it’s unavailable! I’m currently being messaged to complete a payment with a store that is no longer available. I’m trying to get a refund of what I’ve already paid and there’s no help. EVER. But there’s clearly someone sending the reminders out and receiving money.

Folks stay away from…Affirm

Folks stay away from affirm...period.The reason why they want the clients to have good credit is so that they can blackmail you later, knowing you'll give in to them for fear of them putting negative info on your credit report... God forbid cancelation of anything, flight , car hotel..a Absolute "NIGHTMARE ".They don't want to refund at all.Do not use them and please warn others. USE ANYONE BUT THEM. Affirm..there is no need to contact me your firm has been blocked. Your company practice bullie tactics. I had 3 days into the trip, cancelations with proof, showing the business themselves canceled the trip.The way Affirm bullied me repeatedly left me no choice but to pay because the situation was actually making me ill. It was Litterly running my blood pressure up to a dangerous level. All them years with them meant nothing. Out right bullies. They seem to be happy about the mis treatment.
Affirm..there is no need to keep trying to contact me now..your company has been blocked.

simply tried to change my phone number. i had to call them then email and now they need my license for it, they have not sent me a full refund for an order and i can’t get into my account now. waste of time and they have taken £59 off me.

I have used Affirm for couple years…

I have used Affirm for couple years with in 1 years time i have paid back close to 4,000. dollars for various things mainly vacations. Now I went to see what my purchase power is so I can book my next vacation and its telling me they have no plan for me? Untrustworthy company

I am writing to formally dispute the handling of my recently approved loan for a Princess Cruise booking and the subsequent cancellation fee I have been charged.
I was approved for financing in the amount of 18 payments of $354.00, which I fully agreed to and am financially able to maintain. However, after Princess Cruise cancelled the booking, I was informed that the cruise had not been fully paid and that I would be charged a cancellation fee. At no point prior to this was I notified by Affirm of any issue with my loan approval, payment processing, or account status.
When I contacted Affirm for clarification, I was transferred multiple times. During my final transfer, I could hear representatives laughing and talking in the background before the call was abruptly disconnected. I called back and was transferred again, only to be told that Princess Cruise had taken the deposit but that when they attempted to process the remaining balance, the card was closed.

I immediately asked for assistance in reopening the card or determining how to process the remaining balance, since the loan had already been approved and so I could get my room back. I was then told that I was not approved for any amount larger than what appeared under my “card tab,” which contradicts the original loan approval terms of 18 payments of $354.00.
Additionally, when I check other merchants (such as Priceline and other cruise lines), my available purchasing power appears significantly higher, which makes this situation even more confusing and concerning.
As a result of this issue—one that was not caused by me—I am now being charged a cancellation fee and accruing interest. I was even told I needed to agree to the cancellation charge. I do not agree with this charge. I believe this situation resulted from a breakdown in processing or communication between Affirm and Princess Cruise, not from any action on my part. I am so unbelievably dissatisfied with the dishonest treatment and customer service provided by AFFIRM
I did follow up on the updated response and emailed the address given and of course NO Suprise No Response !!!!!
