You customer service is very poor

They deducted my money but they lock the phone and I'm not happy about the service

My name is Nolubabalo Ntlantlu id no 6604150345083. I took a contract in 2023. My house was burnt down in September 2024. I phoned trying to claim the phone. Everything was done , I went to pay the 350 rand ,send the proof of payment. Nothing happened until I called again and I was told there was no stock on the Ao5s but they have received it. Again months went by and I called again,I was told that this matter will be escalated to the relevant department. Nobody ever came back to me only treatning letters from lawyers collecting for Africa Mobile. I phoned again last week again and I was told that I will receive and email or a call that will confirm the delivery of my phone, up until now nothing happened from Africa Mobile the only email I've received is another treatning email from your lawyers.

Africa Mobile has no customer service etiquette, they simply do not care, they will switch your device off and claim you did not pay, say that they do not see the funds, give you backdated areas that they never communicated with you about and say you owe them after 3 months without them switching off the device, they do not even know what they are doing, you cannot even access the phone to send the POPs they don't care, so they can keep the phone locked for all i care, I will look for service elsewhere

Africamobile does not even deserve 1 star, giving 1 star is being generous.
I have 2 contracts with the above mentioned company.
April 2026 I took a 2nd Contract for my husband, the beginning of April2026 the initiation fee plus contract was debited from my account, the end of April this total amount again was debited, I reported it and still no refund has been done and we are going into July 2026.

This is the 2nd month that my husband does not receive his data or minutes but my account is debited monthly.

So in Short, Africamobile steels your money to have a phone without data, without miniutes without service from call centre for assistance and with explanation. AND DOUBLE DEBITS YOUR BANK

We require resolution ASAP

I have a contract with Africa Mobile, from October 2024, so I lost my phone on Saturday 06/06/2026, I tried to call Africa Mobile from Monday for claim, I also sent emails and Whatsapp but no response, and this is not a first time, sometimes they don't load data when I Whatsapp or send email they don't respond, their service is too poor

Poor service. Sick and tired of this place never answering the phone or emails... Very disappointed in this service provider...

I signed up for a cellphone contract in February and the deal never materialized so now they went into my account in May and debited me for a phone that I never received in the first place and I have been trying to call their customer service and nobody is picking up the phone. I think their a bunch of scammers.

If I didn't have to give a star I wouldn't please if there is someone checking this please we need to attend to this as a scam people are buying into this bullshit these people scam people we need to report this

Africa Mobile is a scam

I took a contract last year June but each time I check credit score the balance doesn’t change. I sent them an email requesting my contract and my balance and no one responded to me. I want to settle the account because I have had enough of their rude agents. Afrimobile is stealing our money and when they notice that you are aware they no longer respond to your emails and calls. I regret buying a phone with this scammers.

I will never advise anyone to involve themselves with Afrimobile

Bad experience and service I have a contract for almost 2years now but since day one I received the phone it has issues and I never reserved any data or airtime,when I call I don't get an answers for their consulted but I'm paying the phone every month I don't even use it I had to buy a new phone because of their incompetent staff ..

I didn't receive my delivery and money was already taken out of my account stolen stolen no answer

Ive been with Africa mobile for a while now and they gave me the best service so far. Don't know how others can speak bad of this company. My upgrade is due soon, I'm going to upgrade also with them woth a tablet.

They blocked my phone meanwhile am still good to them now they don't fix my phone

I was given a cell phone contract and a debit order approved on my side a few days after that they asked me to send my 3 months bank statement and payslip that's when I told them that I recently changed banks and lam only one month with the current bank so they told me I can wait for two more payments and then reapply so the contract was cancelled they kept on sending messages as reminders and tried to deduct but didn't find any money today 29th November 2025 I received money from someone on my way to withdraw the money they deducted R508 I never received anything from them no data, no airtime and no new cell phone.

A very bad experience with them, they don't communicate they just lie and keep on debiting money from the account sometimes they don't load data and airtime but the minute you don't pay for a month they lock your phone

They debited money on my account even though I didn't received the phone and I have requested so many times that they need to stop calling me and cancel the debit order but they didn't and now they are not replying to my emails

So, I have 2 phone contracts with Africa Mobile and I was very happy with it. But this week for some reason, even though my account is not in arrears, they have blocked me 3 times. Every agent I have spoken to this week has told me that I have "extra" money on the account. So, every time they blocked me, they apologized and unlocked my phone. It's now Friday night and I am trying to get a hold of anyone on all channels, and no one is responding. So, am I going to have my phone blocked for the whole weekend, because no one works on the weekend. I honestly don't know what to do. Please can someone get in contact with me. Obviously don't call me on my cell because you locked it.
