You should definitely steer clear of this organization. Many report paying thousands and when requesting a refund they are told it would take a number of days.

A few people report that they still haven’t received their refunds after a whole year.

If you were informed that you would receive a refund within 90 days, but you never did;

- Please gather evidence, including emails, receipts, and copies of your agreement.

- Send a communication request in for your monetary refund one last time.

- Reach out to (DED) Dubai Department of Economic Development and compose your complaints.

- Report to the Dubai Police eCrime hub, you will need to verify your identity through their app using your passport (you can use an international passport)

- Tourists, please do research regarding companies in other countries, a simple google search showed numerous individuals stating they lost their money to this company.

- Contact a local Lawyer in the Emirates for assistance and consultation. There are many.

Of course one would like to believe in the integrity of an organization, but when there’s so many negative claims, you have to stop and question them.

This is a scam company. First Holiday in Dubai in August 2024, they pressured the wife into accepting Holiday and she convinced me into paying deposit of £7000, as we got back to the hotel and it felt unreal and we reviewed the company that claimed they worked with Dubai government. We returned our contract and demanded for our money, we were promised it would be deposited in 3months maximum, meaning by January 2025, we should get our money, its been one year and 3 months, no one responds to email any more, no one answers calls any more. They scammed me and my wife. We will keep emailing them even if it takes 10years to recover our money. I tried to see a way to contact Dubai tourism but unsuccessful.

They target their victims at the airport by inviting them to a celebration and offering free vouchers to visit places in Dubai, only to get there and start a marketing presentation about investing in real estate with a lot of goodies that sounds too good to be true. We fell for it and only realised that it was a scam when we went through the contracts on getting home , we terminated the contract with an expectation of getting a refund since it was only a day after but we were told it would take 7-8weeks to get our money back . They tried to talk us out of ending the investment by offering more juicy options. None of the said investment exist, its basically just talks and scam. They target black unsuspecting tourist. Beware!!!!

During our first visit to Dubai, we were approached at the airport by a representative named Mohammed, who offered to help activate our SIM cards and invited us to join a “celebration” where we were promised free experiences.

Upon arriving at their office, located on the 8th floor of the Citibank building in Dubai, it quickly became apparent that the so-called celebration was actually a sales presentation of some arbitrary developing hotel aimed primarily at Black tourists. The event turned out to be a high-pressure pitch to invest in their hotels.

We were not given access to review the contract until after payment was made. Once we finally received it and had time to read through the details—along with several online reviews about the company—we decided to cancel the agreement the same day.

However, obtaining a refund was a difficult and stressful process. Over 1,000 AED was withheld as an “administrative fee,” and the promised tickets and experiences were revoked. The managers also became increasingly dismissive and arrogant once we requested to end the contract.

Thankfully, I was ultimately able to recover the full amount through my bank. I strongly advise anyone visiting Dubai to avoid AFW Dubai and similar offers. Book your own experiences directly—many travelers have reported that the ones arranged through this company are subpar at best.

During my birthday trip to Dubai in 2023, I purchased a holiday subscription from Happiness. Upon exiting the airport, representatives approached me, offering free activities in exchange for a tour of their hotels.

To my surprise, on the scheduled day, we were taken to an office building for presentations. My husband was reluctant and opposed to me accepting the package, but eventually, the manager instructed the consultant to take us to Palm Jumeirah, one of the hotels available for our stay. The driver transported us, and I even captured photos and a video of the hotel. Additionally, we were informed that a dedicated driver would be provided, visas would be arranged, and meals included however, if we desired a chef, we would need to purchase the ingredients ourselves. When I told them I was told Mohammed the consultant that assisted us is no longer with the company.

In 2024, I reached out to Grace via email to inquire about carrying over our week from 2024 to 2025, and she agreed. However, when I attempted to make a booking, Emad sent an email stating that I had unfortunately forfeited the week. I explained that I had spoken to Grace and intended to rebook for my birthday in September. I was advised to book closer to the date.

In June 2025, I emailed to express my desire to book for my September birthday, only to be informed that I needed to book before 19 September 2025, as my membership was set to expire. I questioned how my two-year membership could be expiring when I had not even been in Dubai two years prior to 19 September. Till this hour I do not understand what criteria was used as I specifically went for my birthday which is 29 September. Emad's demeanor was quite arrogant and dismissive. I would advise fellow travelers to steer clear of anyone approaching you at the airport claiming they want to showcase their hotels. If you have managed to reach Dubai independently, you certainly do not require their assistance. When I calculate the amount, I paid them for a week in exchange for what they are currently offering, it is significantly more affordable and less stressful to arrange it independently or through a travel agent.

What adds to the frustration is that the promises made to us prior to our subscription payment feel like a betrayal.
