The initial reservation was great
The initial reservation was great, it was just the link for the additional information that followed afterward. I kept entering my addition information (License #, Insurance information, etc.), and everything I entered kept disappearing. I am not sure if the system is actually accepting my entered information and hiding it, or if it is actually disappearing.

Don’t use airport rentals or the insurance company
Don’t buy insurance from airport rentals. You have to pay the full excess with full insurance cover.
This is not shown in the booking.
Book with the renter as they are cheaper in the end don’t book with airport rentals

During the booking process, once the vehicle is selected, the protection option from RentalCover is shown on the following page. This page advises the excess amount applied by the rental provider and explains that with RentalCover protection the excess can be refunded in the event of a valid claim, along with certain related fees and personal baggage. This protection is optional and customers can choose to proceed with or without adding it to their booking.
As RentalCover is an independent excess protection provider rather than the rental company itself, the standard excess from the rental provider still applies at the time of an incident. If the excess is charged, a claim can then be submitted directly with RentalCover for reimbursement in accordance with their terms and conditions. If protection is purchased, customers also receive a separate email from RentalCover after booking confirming the protection details and claim process.
While RentalCover protection pricing is dynamic, full excess reduction offered directly by rental providers at the counter is generally available at a higher daily rate.

Worst customer service I've ever received.
I didn't have my Physical credit card on me. I was only emailed that I needed it after I got on the plane from Brisbane. I Was told they could accept a credit card number if shown on a banking app. Showed Nathan (manager at Avalon), my ANZ app that had all the numbers of my credit card except the middle four. Rang ANZ but they were unable unlock this on the app to be shown. Sent my Father around to my place in Brisbane who took a photo of my Physical credit card, which naturally matched all numbers on the app and showed the missing four. He unfortunately still wouldn't except this or process it, even though processing would show that the number was valid and mine. This took over 45 minutes, which caused me to, miss the other car rental openings, miss the Skybus to Melbourne and be very late to my meeting in Melbourne. The worst customer service I've ever received.

Presenting the physical credit card in the main driver’s name at pick-up is a standard requirement across major car rental companies. This requirement is outlined in the rental terms and conditions and was also included in the confirmation email sent at the time of booking.
Our records show no contact with our customer service team prior to collection, so it appears the information you referenced regarding showing the card via a banking app may have been discussed directly with the rental counter. We have shared your feedback with our rental partner to review and improve the customer experience.

“Or Similar” means the car you receive may not be the exact model shown, but it will be from the same category, with the same size, doors, transmission, and key features. This is standard across car rentals, whether booked directly or through a partner.
