I received 2 separate gift cards. The transfer was simple and quick with the 1st card. But i tried for many many days, multiple times a day to transfer the 2nd card money to my checking account, and i was not successful. It was very frustrating and i ultimately gave up. I wish it would have worked

Thank you for highlighting this! We’re glad we can step in and provide some clarification.
Our cards are not charged a monthly fee simply for remaining open. Inactivity fees begin after 12 consecutive months of no use, and it is deducted only from any remaining balance on the card. No external bank accounts are ever charged, and you are never responsible for more than the funds available on the card.
There’s no need to close the card to avoid fees. In fact, we recommend keeping it open in case additional funds are added in the future.
To summarize:
• If there is a balance after 12 months of inactivity, the fee comes from that balance only.
• If the balance is $0, no fees apply.
We hope this clears things up, and we’re always happy to help with any questions.
