We ran into an emergency situation during transit at Frankfurt and couldn't continue our journey. Kevin (frisco branch) from Alanita worked really hard to get us back a refund from Lufthansa. I am happy with Alanita team and their dedication especially Kevin who was very thorough and pursued our case

Worst experience, be careful with this travel .. they paid less amount to Airlines than they collected me…they cheated me .there was a double charge in my credit card , one they charged to Airlines and other one they put into their own account(cheated one) after few days from first charge….when I called Airlines they told it was paid one time only and they told your travel agency might have cheated you..I am more frustrated not only just because of the money but the way how these people take advantage on the booking of there is any
loophole…if you have not faced issues yet, it means you are one of the luckiest person….good that I have not recommended this travel agency to any of my friends..I was about to book for my entire family in the upcoming summer but will never go back to this agency..very bad experience

I was using makemytrip for my India trips since 2006 until 2019. One of my friend referred Alanita Travels and I given try in 2019 and the service was ok and I referred few of my friends too. This year, I'm facing an horrible experience with them. The customer support is annoying and they don't listen to your need and tried to sell a dump ticket(not flexible and non refundable) on your head and It happened to me now as well though I'm a loyal customer since 2019.

I asked them flexible ticket while booking and they said there is no flexible tickets anymore which is not correct. But their intention is robbery your money later if we ask any small change which most of us will do because things change in our life when we book a ticket 6 months ahead.

Now, I asked to postpone the start date and one the manager confirmed $221 as price difference and $110 as penalty with total of $331 per ticket and I agreed. Then he said his colleague will call me later of the day and will send the payment link to confirm the change. But I waited 3 hours and I didn't any call. So I called them back after 3 hours and got a response that someone will call me back. But no one called on that day. Then I called them next day and they said the price difference is $500+ and when I called them 2 days later and they said the price difference is 600+. So it's so obvious that they want us your situation to make and milk money from you. They show an irritating attitude and behave very unethical of what they suppose to help the customers. ALANITA TRAVEL IS A BIG SCAM. DO THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY.

Particularly UNHELPFUL to customers, once the ticket is booked. They do not work on behalf of customers but ONLY FOR PROFITS

I recently tried to book my tickets to India I had a very bad experience. I used this illiterate people before just because out of respect for India and to give some business to them even though I can book the tickets directly from the airlines with the same price what they are le offering but this time they harassed me with the phone calls, emails etc just to book my tickets. They verified my credit card details like multiple times with screen shots, photo IDs , DL copies and after providing all these again they want to talk to my bank and reconfirm. All they had to do is verify my previous bookings. This all happened after they charged my card and booked my tickets and if I don't verify they said they will cancel my ticket which caused and costed me more money because of the time they wasted and cancelling the booked ticket and when I went to airlines to book myself the same itinerary went up because of the time gap. So I STRONGLY Recommend NOT TO GO WITH THIS TRAVEL AGENCY AND WASTE YIUR TIME AND MONEY.. VERY Illiterate PEOPLE AND ROB PEOPLE.

Terrible customer service. Won’t let make any changes to itinerary even if requested within 24 hours of booking travel. Lost $800 for a name change. Airlines was willing to give full refund as it was less than 24 hrs after booking. Really a hack. I wish there was a lower rating to give. Never using them ever again. Caution others not to.

I made the booking with Alanita Travel through their agent Vamshi. I am extremely happy with the service I got. They always offer the lowest price and work with you when price is the issue by offering mix of one way flight to meet your objectives. I would recommend all to try them out.

Alanita is scam. They charged cancellation fee via Zelle. That is fraud. No airlines charge refund fee within 24 hour but they need within 30 min also. Never go with them.

it's a rip-off they charge me 1300 per ticket and did not inform the connection flight. is operated by indigo airline when call to change they said i have to pay Addisonian $250 for tickets and what the current fare will be they will charge me the different.

They are one of the worst agencies to book your tickets. Please never use them.. The cancellation was an ordeal. they want to do a zelle payment for cancellation and i have never been asked to do that.
Need the entire community to boycott this agency.

They are a terrible travel agency. You are better off booking somewhere else.

There is a long wait to get to just a receptionist who then arranges a call back. This call back from a travel agent takes forever and usually I have had to wait 2-3 hours too despite being told to expect a response in 10 minutes.

the booking process is also terrible. Their agents often cannot see the fares we see in other websites and dont offer all the best options. They are unable to explain the ticket cancellation or rebooking details clearly and do not assist you in any meaningful way. I was told to check multiple rules (like long transit layover times needing a Shengen visa or not) with the airline directly. If I have to find out all the information, that defeats the purpose of booking with a travel agent. Overall, I will never be booking with them again.

There are multiple charges on refunds. Alanita charged 375$ and airlines charged 366$ for a single ticket where the ticket cost is $800. Not sure why alanita has to charge $375 along with airline cancellation charges which is total of (741$). Never go with these fraud companies who promised us getting back total refund and added travel insurance while booking which is useless. They made us pay zelle for the amount of $375 which is illegal which we didn't realize earlier. Never ever go with them.

IT was my worst experience ever. Please never go through them it will be Better to go direct to Airlines. Because of family emergency i had to book ticket with them. First i booked my wife and son one way ticket which was around $1600 i was never told that i was refundable even when i asked after two days i have to change itenary to return and booked for six people for round trip. i was tired of taking to them and 4 hours in conversation and over price they told me my card was declined, i told them i will call them back in in couple of hours. when i checked my account they already withdrew $2800 for my wife and son.For same flight and same seat they chager me $2800 after couple of hours of argument they told me they would return my money but will take 5 days and
my wife had to leave in 2 days. long story short at the end i end up paying 4400 for one adult and infant. They are RIP OFF NEVER GO TO THEM. Very horrible and fustrated. I Might feel it was my mistake but that close dates i didnt have enough options.
