This company does false advertising. Their website says they do EV charger repairs, but when I called them I got diverted to a different company which does not repair EV chargers. I have called 4 different companies around Houston who say they repair home EV chargers, but every one of them says they only install chargers they don't make repairs. This allstarpros.com is one of those false advertisers that does not actually provide the service their website claims they provide.

I was provided a tile and grout cleaner named A+ Services. He was the first to respond from "All Stars Pro".
Very expensive, bad work and not even the tile was clean. A complete joke for service. So typical in South Florida. Stay away from All Star Pros and A+ Services

Extractive. Called to have a relatively small fix which granted it was after-hours, but wanted to charge 5x-7x normal rate as opposed to 2x.

The biggest scam. I would give zero stars if I could. We are expecting an ice storm with major power outages, this company reached out to me for my need in connecting propane gas log insert to our propane tank which we discuss via text and phone call and proceeds to send out someone who apparently does not do propane gas logs and says you do not need me and then I have to pay a service fee when nothing was even done. So now I am down money and still have no way to heat my house when the power is expected to go out.

sent a contractor to my home who clearly wasn't properly screened. He charged me $150 for a "repair" that didn't fix my plumbing issue at all - in fact, it made it worse. When I called back to complain and request someone competent to actually fix the problem, they completely ghosted me. No callbacks, no emails answered, no refund offered. Their website promises "vetted professionals" but this was the exact opposite. I had to hire a real plumber who charged double to fix what their "technician" broke

This company sent a scam artist to my home. They obviously don't vet who is allowed to be a contractor. I was charged $150 for a "repair" that did not fix the issue, and when I followed up, I was ghosted by the scammer. This website does not offer any recourse, you'd be better off asking a neighbor or friend for a referral. Lesson learned.

Can't understand him and tried to upsell me over and over , did a half ass job and I actually finished his job of cleaning fireplace just to get him out of there , DO NOT USE THESE PPL, had a bad feeling when he pulled up in a half beaten up vehicle

Terrible service. Sent a rude handyman. Lied about free quote even after confirming that the quote would be free. The handyman would not leave without payment that was never discussed for a quote.

I’ve tried contacting this company four times in just two days for a TV screen repair, which is clearly advertised on their website as one of their services. I completed the online estimate form, spoke with the AI agent multiple times, and even scheduled two calls—yet no one ever followed up.

When I finally managed to reach a person, the experience was even worse. The representative cut me off before I could finish a sentence, rudely telling me they don’t provide TV screen repair services. He then made me feel stupid, spoke to me disrespectfully, and hung up the phone.

It’s incredibly disappointing that a company claiming to provide “great service” allows this kind of behavior and also displays misleading information about the services they actually offer.

I haven't been contacted but by all accounts this seems to be a SCAM!! SERIOUSLY?? STOP!!

All-star Pros sent a Sears technician to repair my frigerator. He did not follow Sears procedures, and I reported this incident in detail to Sears, who are investigating incident. He would only accept cash or check for payment, did not give us estimate, he can cancelled appointment with Sears before he left our house, we never received an invoice, we did not have to sign anything,and he overcharged us.The name we wrote the check to is Xavier Parham.

I keep getting calls from people from India who do not speak English and they cannot help, they just say they will have a contractor call, but no one does. Somehow, these people are also associated with Angie's list. So far I have gotten 5 phone calls from these "organizers" and none of them understand the project. Do **not** use this website!!

The provider they matched took $600 for parts and never delivered. There is no way to vet their providers, contractors or All Star Pros. It's likely a scam website with no email or contact details. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE OR THEIR CONTRACTORS!

Lie about pricing and upcharge the shit out of you. Wanted to charge us $348 for a $18 job. Absolute scam do not waste your time

I was misled when researching a local business in Rutherford, NJ that could service the central A/C brand in my house during a recent heatwave. The GOOGLE search supplied information of "two college graduates" who has supposedly started a company to provide great service to their community. When calling it was very confusing to be connected with an individual who spoke English as a 2nd language, showed up in an unmarked/no company logo vehicle with his technical assistant and seriously overcharged me for the service provided. Their invoice was from AIRFLOW 365 Plumbing & HVAC based in Paterson, 551-204-7835. Their reviews are probably self-made. When calling them back to say I'd been overcharged they wouldn't answer and when calling All Star Pros the answering service is automated artificial intelligence that does not answer any customer satisfaction issues. After multiple attempts to reach a human being I kept getting lots of calls and emails from Angie's List providers asking if I still needed to repair my A/C and oblivious to a competitor already having been here. It is sad that automated AI and misdirection is what companies rely on these days to make their money by deceiving people, will have to keep with word of mouth.
