To make this clear this is not a customer review, it’s a review based on the job application process the company uses.
In applying for a position as a driver I was given some positive response to the application and asked to obtain a PTD accreditation. The cost of this is all up is around $400 so it’s quite a big financial commitment without knowing if you will even get an interview. I messaged the company to see if we could discuss this and received no answer. Keen to discuss the job, I messaged again. Again no answer.
The point here is, why would you reply positively about an application and then ignore all further communication which could have resulted in the applicant wasting a reasonable amount of money.
Very disappointing experience and I hope they treat their customers better

You raise a valid concern about the PTD requirement and the associated costs. We do specify in our job advertisements that applicants "MUST HAVE 'C' Drivers Licence with a PTD Accreditation as a minimum" to ensure candidates are aware of this requirement upfront. However, we recognize that our initial positive response may have created confusion about this prerequisite.
The PTD (Passenger Transport Driver) accreditation is a legal requirement for commercial passenger transport in WA, and unfortunately, we cannot employ drivers without this certification. We appreciate that the $400 investment represents a significant commitment, which is precisely why we include this requirement clearly in our job postings.
We should have been clearer in our initial communication and more responsive to your questions. Your feedback has prompted us to review our recruitment communication process to ensure future applicants have a better experience.
