Amazon Ireland needs to be more upfront with their customers regarding delivery dates. I ordered a small product that came by post, it took weeks for it to arrive. It certainly was not in stock in Ireland, must have come from China, that is after it was manufactured there.

Unprofessional delivery guy- after 9pm knocking on our door as he didn’t scan the package properly before putting in the letter box. We had a sign up on the letter box saying no knocking as baby asleep. No amazon van- he said it was parked around the corner- looked like a random guy who found it all funny. Awful - avoid and keep UK Prime if you can
Awful service, does not compare in any way to UK Amazon- limited product range, slow delivery, terrible customer service. I tried reverting to UK Prime membership and the Irish team said fine and cancelled my Prime, told me to restart UK Prime. Tried doing that and was told it’s no longer available to ‘new customers’ in Ireland, even though the wise people in Ireland who opted to keep UK Prime get to retain it. I’m so annoyed I just won’t buy from them now.

More expensive and longer delivery times. The item I wanted was 27 euros on both the .ie and .co.uk sites . But even though I am in Ireland, the .ie site wanted 12:95 for delivery on top of the 27 euro price. To op it all off ,delivery time from .co.uk would have been tomorrow, whereas the .ie site was gonna take 12 days !!!! Holy Moly what a joke. Thankfuly,I didn't transfer my account over .

Not comparable with Amazon UK. Delivery is appallingly slow compared to UK website. It is even much slower than Amazon DE, for which I cannot find any reason. Amazon Prime price is not competitive: cheaper than UK but with not much services connected, more expensive than other european Prime with similar services. Poor marketing for the launch: I was expecting much more offers during the first months, also to compensate possible issues to customers, instead they are just going with offering poor services for the same price.
I am a happy customer
I ordered a small item from Amazon.ie, and only read the negative reviews of this service afterwards. I was gutted and feared for the worst. But the service was wonderful; the item arrived on the date listed; the delivery man was warm and charming. A very good experience with the feet on the ground. However, I didn't get an email confirmation of my order, or a notification that it was on the way, which I would normally get from the .fr site.

A hit and miss service to be honest, I have gone back to Amazon UK. Don't be taken in by the 6.99 Prime membership, stay with UK and pay the 8.99 GBP.
13 days for an item to be delivered from Spain through France from Amazon Ireland, had the same Item from the UK site in 48 hours to the door.
Speaking to a few people who have switched back to the UK site......pity really.

AVOID disappointment is inevitable
Last time I order from Amazon.. I have made several orders over the past couple months now and today will be the last time I ever order from Amazon. I have waited on several times to be delivered and every time I go to check the delivery has been pushed back and then once confronting Amazon customer service they still tell me it will be delivered same day. I refuse to be keep told lies and after an hour with customer service with no reply I will be sure to post on social media also.

Spring offer not honoured and non existent customer service. I believe Amazon Ireland are dishonest and careless.
I purchased some garden machinery in their spring deals event. I had confirmation of the order and understood I’d receive an email regarding delivery; instead I had an email stating that ‘the order had gone wrong and the product couldn’t be supplied. I checked the site immediately for the product I’d ordered and found it easily at an increased price. I reached out to Amazon chat and emailed them to understand what happened and try to get my order fulfilled. chat didn’t resolve the issue and my emails to the company have not been responded to. I wouldn’t trust them to fulfil orders. I suspect they knowingly advertised deals which they were never going to fulfil to attract customers.

If I could give zero stars that's all this company deserves. I ordered something on 23rd May, the next morning I went to cancel, it had not been dispatched. i was told that I could not cancel as it was 'in dispatch', I can only refuse delivery or return it when it is delivered. A total joke, if the item has not been dispatched they should stop it from going outthe dispatch. The worst company I've had to deal with, now I have to wait for the order to go out for delivery and hope that i can get to the delivery person before they just leave it on top of my bin (as Amazon usually do).

Hi. I've ordered from Amazon.ie a few times. I had a few problems at the beginning. But as I order more and more, I have fewer and fewer problems. Previously I had only used Amazon.uk. I've never had any problems with shipping there. Now I am slowly starting to transition and get used to Amazon.ie.
The Irish Amazon site is a complete JOKE
The Irish Amazon site is a complete joke. It's clunky, half-baked, and clearly doesn’t measure up to the standard of Amazon’s other country sites. Every single order I’ve placed through Amazon.ie has been delayed, even with Prime—so what exactly am I paying for? Most of the items are still shipped from Germany, France or the UK anyway. We're being sold a stripped-back version of the service but charged full price. The price differences compared to other EU Amazon sites are ridiculous too. In fact, shipping times are often faster when ordering from those other sites. It's obvious they’ve put in the bare minimum effort for Ireland, and it's evident.

I’ve ordered a few times and haven’t gotten anything on time, I’m currently waiting for books that were ordered on 15th May for next day delivery and I still don’t have them,they are now saying they will arrive before 21st May ,plus when the orders are going to an post I’m getting emails saying “tried to deliver “ when they clearly haven’t and then the next day I get the same message and have had to go to the depot to collect them. I’m currently waiting on a patio table for 10 days which said it’s being delivered by FedEx 2 days ago. Will definitely be going back to Amazon UK, stay away from Amazon Ireland it’s not worth the stress

Second time in about a week where items just thrown over our wall into our garden and then marked in Amazon as being handed to the customer. No point in trying to complain directly to Amazon as they’ve made it so difficult to actually talk with a competent human being
