Ordered from amazon.ie. said Fulfilled by amazon... they sent the wrong item. Promissed credit to my amazon account within 3 days of receipt of the return. Complete bull...
The only reason i ordered what i did was because it said "fulfilled by Amazon" so I figured they wouldnt screw up. Biggest mistake ever. I'll stick with the Germans from now on.

Good customer service

First time I used Ireland version (normally Uk). Item I wanted was cheaper in Irish site. Item I received was wrong size and when I tried to return (size I asked for no longer available for exchange) was advised I would incur P&P. Wasn’t happy with this so rang customer service and found the customer service was excellent. Expalined my situation and was issued a ‘free post’ label with out any difficulty.

Zero star Amazon Ireland
Since opened in Ireland with prime never delivered items within the time shown then some items are delivered with ups!!! Or anpost with delays. As soon I turn a year I will switch to UK they deliver on time and ive never complained. I pay prime and I receive what ive ordered with frequent and constant delays!!!!

Consumers right will be contacted

Disgraceful service as usual. Stayed at home all day waiting on a delivery that never came. If it's left in the rain tomorrow, or whatever it comes amazon.ie will pay for the damage!

Prices on Amazon ie are not competitive…

Prices on Amazon ie are not competitive compared to their other stores it’s actually cheaper to order from Amazon de or es and for some items even the delivery date is quicker. I have even found it cheaper to order from uk and pay the odd extra on customs. The product selection as also not as wide yet, hopefully it will grow however the prices need to be looked at it’s more expensive to buy when it shouldn’t be

Ordered 2 switch games for my son…

Ordered 2 switch games for my son birthday. Payed extra for priority delivery which took 4 business days to arrive. Delivery guy never called to door ring instead marked as "couldn't deliver your package",contact Amazon support ,but they couldn't help either ,just said it will be delivered next day but I am going on holidays for 2 weeks which I explained to staff she just said ok. Very bad delivery structure. Charging for priority delivery and can't fulfill the promised delivery date .

Not impressed

Always shopped on Amazon.co.uk with no issues, a couple of times now I've had to send stuff back to Amazon.ie, bought a toy as a gift for a baby, it sang in German, recently bought 2 pairs UK 5 Under Armour trainers and they sent me a UK 2.5 and a 5.5, so annoying, I'll be switching back to UK.

Will never shop Amazon Ireland again

The first and only time I shop with Amazon Ireland, and they get it woefully and offensively wrong. Instead of my computer pad they send me sex oils. Will never shop Amazon Ireland again.

The Biggest Con ever…Caveat Emptor

Order 3 separate items 3 different prices..1 ..took too long too delivery
2.not able to get seller.
3.different prices all items exact same.
False advertising purely trash supplied 35e each approx stuff not worth 3 euros.
Amazon are to blame for selling for this agent..they should remove this agent.
Agent is a Con.thru Amazon.ie 1st time to use ..shut it down .Amazon uk much better site.
110e for 10 bucks worthless trash.
Better stuff in a Pound Shop

Please Note Amazon driver came to door his comprehension of English was written same driver each time .7 out of 10 are good.
Refused last delivery he didn't understand.wouldn't take it back.
Tough actually Amazon standards have dropped always use uk 🇬🇧. They have there issues.i make the odd boob but I accept it.sort I ve spent thousands with ye and then I am conned for a 100 bucks.

I ordered a Red Bull F1 racing blanket…

I ordered a Red Bull F1 racing blanket & a bath/ shower towel on 22nd August & it said it would be delivered on the 23rd and it never arrived but I found out the next day it was delivered to the wrong address that’s 10 mins away from me.

The food product I ordered on the 22nd August said it would be delivered on the 30th of August and as we all might do check on the on the delivery day what time it will arrive and I seen it said it would be delivered at 8pm and then I noticed it was 9pm and it was not here checked my Amazon account to see that it says it’s running late ridiculous

I have never experienced these issues before with Amazon.
It always has been amazing service.

Order item on 3 July 25 estimated…

Order item on 3 July 25 estimated delivery date 5 August 25. Received email on 5 August 25 from Amazon.ie stating they can't source item and was charged cancellation fee. They said cancellation fee will be refunded in 3 to 5 business days
Emailed Amazon.ie on a number of occasions, there was no reply and am still waiting to be reimbursed.

Vastly inferior to Amazon UK

Completely pointless, great on paper but awful in implementation. Smaller selection and more expensive than Amazon UK.

The whole point of the .ie was to circumvent import tax post brexit. Made two orders this week both, took payment and had an eta or same week delivery. One got lost and the second is delayed by 7 days and I can't cancel, only select return, despite it not being actually dispatched.

Customer support is just a matter of transferring you until you eventually end the chat.

So far since moving from UK to IE, I've had problems with 6 out of 8 orders and went back to using Amazon Germany as it's the least problematic. This is due to UK and ie sharing same support team...

Typically Irish, can't have anything nice due to laziness...

I cancelled my Irish Prime and went back to using UK and .de .

I am beyond frustrated with amazons so…

I am beyond frustrated with amazons so called customer service. I have been trying for weeks to access my account due to 2 step verify failing because I don’t have access to my old phone . After many failed attempts to talk to a real person on the phone I was fobbed off and told that they would transfer me UP to the relevant department who could help me change my number and that I’d receive an email to rectify this within 24-48 hours. Email arrived with apologies that there had been no need to transfer me to other departments and that supplied was a direct line to 2 step verification team to fix my problem. The number only brought me back to the same line of waiting as before to be told / even though he could read word for word what was said in email that he’d have to transfer me UP to someone else who would help.
Another email arrived telling me my 2 step verification had been disabled and that now I should have full access to my account. Well guess what folks… it’s the same sign in 2 step verification process as usual and I’m still locked out. Oh and added bonus… I can’t directly reply to any of the emails Amazon ‘customer service’ have sent me.
Absolutely appalling service so I’m now just going to delete and cancel everything. Also the contact number for Ireland on their website is not a real number so each time I’ve had to ring their tolled uk number with at least 30 mins each call.

Unreliable

Unreliable. Most common issue I've encountered is delivery dates. Very inconsistent - half my orders have not arrived on the delivery estimate dates, despite the trackers showing "out for delivery". I'm paying prime membership and this is just unacceptable. I'll be going back to my UK account

Poor

Poor, poor execution of setting up a local Amazon dispatch. Was pretty excited to hear it launch.

Rarely had I experienced an issue with UK or US dispatches, but Ireland of course messes it up.

I have not had a full single order properly processed in terms of delivery time, as well as the complete mess of eligible items for free shipping... It just doesn't work, because Irish dispatch and UK items are showing up as eligible when you select them (without clear indication that some of them ships from Amazon UK) but when you get to checkout, there is NO free shipping, because the items are suddenly no longer eligible...

This has been going on since the launch of Amazon Ireland with no improvement whatsoever 6 months later, please fix this right away or the .ie will go bust.

Amazon.ie….is this an Irish joke?

Been an Amazon customer for a long time and while I mainly used the UK site, I’ve ordered from the German, French and Spanish sites too, all without issue. After some thought, I decided to join the Irish site to save money on my prime subscription but that was a mistake, a big mistake. The variety of products on the Irish site is pathetically poor, to the point of being a joke. Delivery times can be slower than when I used to order from the UK site and for the first time ever, I’ve had orders cancelled by sellers as items are “out of stock”, which never happened on any of the other Amazon sites. Amazon.ie is an absolute joke, and I’ll probably switch back to the UK site soon.

After a 1 star review a few months ago that I left i have to admit my last delivery was 5 stars, from time i ordered to it being delivered was 3.5 days, not 4 weeks like the last time so I have to give credit where credits due this time

Paid prime again thinking id get my…

Paid prime again thinking id get my item delivered. But I was wrong. Again. Never using Amazon again. Just got an e bike so I will go to real stores and spend money on deliveries from real stores with really people that actually work and don't lie.
