I've had the worst experience with Amazon Customer Support today. It was regarding a delivery of products that did not arrive. The first agent Sandeep who I spoke to said there was no way to contact the delivery agent (because they don't give their numbers anymore) was super unhelpful and he went on to say that the courier guy has not left his number with us. We cannot do anything. Hopefully the delivery comes in later tonight, we wait and watch. And that they furthermore do not take any complaints or raise any tickets for delivery related issues. After having a long argument about this with him, the unfairness of not being able to contact the delivery person (via Amazon call centres), or not getting anyone from the support team to circle back and check with me. I had to really push for escalation - because almost all of Sandeep's replies were unhelpful. In today's day and time if a giant like Amazon cannot control the warehouse processes and maintain a simple way of contacting their delivery agents on the ground, the joke is on them. Because even apps like BB and Uber have managed to crack this. As a Prime Customer I am expected to take my membership on-time, pay for the product upfront, but when it comes to delivery I do not want to hear 'let's wait, hopefully it will come'. The call with the escalation team Mr. Harmanpreet was even more unhelpful, because he took on a slightly condescending tone with me, which really pissed me off. He mentioned that he would be happy to give me a ticket / complaint number, I do not need to justify myself for it. And went on to lay out Amazon's policy of not giving out the customers number to delivery guys ... at which point I had to interrupt once more and tell them that all these calls care possible via call support centres today, there is enough technology today that numbers do not need to be exchanged .... And then the call went blank, no response, no voice, nothing. I had mentioned this to the customer support agent that in case of a call drop there should always be a call back from their end. But I guess they had no more help to offer, and simply did not bother to call back.
I usually never do feedback like this. I rely on calls being recorded But the irritation on the part of the first agent. He constant denial of not being able to raise any complaints. Then putting me through an even more condescending senior agent from the escalation team ... just ensured that some written feedback was needed.
The worst customer support ever
The worst customer support ever. If you want to experience it, just chat with Amazon customer service. These people will terminate the conversation in between and simply leave. Amazon should be ashamed of this kind of service. It would be better to close customer support altogether rather than having such useless support staff.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I ordered this product for my family and already made the payment online. However, when the delivery person came, he asked my sister to pay again and took ₹1049 from her even though the order was already prepaid.
After that, the delivery person stopped responding and even blocked our number. I contacted Amazon customer service and explained everything, but unfortunately nothing was done to resolve the issue.
This is very unprofessional and disappointing.

This very sad about such brand i am going to mention here. This happened with me many times and i gave them chance al the time and now I am frustrated and I am done with this. Very first thing I found there product incomplete, quality bad, then I return or ask exchange, I get 1 pop-up by mentioning (you have high rejection) further i didn't remember. And one common issue that i face always is with Amazon delivery partner, many time they don't deliver and mark delivered and when approach Amazon they always promise that this will not happen again. And every Amazon customer agent has different statements to say. They have big gap in there communication.
I want to ask these guys. That very first without seeing, feeling Amazon's product i order and if I select COD they ask extra charges for COD on top service is worst on top of that service we book product from Amazon and wait 3 to 5 days sometime more than that, than you don't get your delivery and when you see on portal it delivered mark. When I call Amazon, they gives time to resolve 3 days, 4 days, 5 days or more. Than apologizes than case shuts down. Than again happens than again same story. How many times I gonna suffer with this. Why Amazon not coming up with instant solutions.
If we go in local market we can find product what we want easily and there we can bargain, see feel the products and biggest thing bring home right away. Not for waiting so long and complications.

I'm truly sick nd fed up of this company now! Twice in a row it has not delivered my item on time nor updated the status-keeps on saying it's arriving on d scheduled date when the product wasn't even shipped till that date. I dont think being a 'prime member' means anything, its just their money-making tactics. Worse-they have removed Customer Care number from the app plus "call me" option, nd not even personalized chat support is there, we can only choose from d general options that i find entirely useless. It is from google that i got their CC number nd managed to connect though again it was of no use, they said to wait till d scheduled date which is btw tomorrow and product hasnt been shipped till this moment. In short Amazon.in has gone to dogs!!

Customer service is worst not like…
Customer service is worst not like older days. Now if thay are handling any issue with the product on deliverables they are giving worst service not taking responsibility. If product return is scheduled, without reaching Customer they are posting a slot different date and marking it unable to reach customer...in this way either they are ignoring to get the return product or keep postpone the date and holding customer money for more than a month... It clearly says how they are doing scammer in legal way. So either need strong Customer police for delivery/selling or platform like amazon to prevent people from this official scammer...

There are no zero stars. I ordered a sofa that arrived torn. I initiated a return and item was promptly picked up. It's been 3 months and no refund has been issued. Every time I interact with customer service...they have automated / robotic responses like "I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. please allow me moment to check refund status for this item." A multi-trillion dollar company defrauding its customers?! Disgusted with Amazon. How come 0 stars is not an option?
Amazon India customer support is most difficult to get
I am a regular user of Amazon shopping service in India and abroad. I am hereby expressing my experiences and deep concern that amazon is restricting customers access to direct customer support .
To my knowledge it is a cost effort and looking like a hidden agenda. In Amazon.in app the customer support is the most difficult things to reach out even by prime membership for genuine reasons.
Terrible service
Terrible service. I ordered a fleece jacket and received women's gloves. I returned it, but was denied a refund because Amazon conducted some kind of pathetic investigation and claimed I had substituted the item myself. That's great. But what's shocking is that Amazon refused to even send me back those wretched gloves. So, I have neither the money nor the item. This is pure fraud. Law enforcement in India needs to investigate Amazon's compliance with the law.

I had ordered a product under order no.402-9718622-8116360 on 12 February 2026. The item was delivered in time and was requiring installation which was to be done by the delivery persons. But they didn't do. Despite my subsequent follow up with customer care the installation has not been done so far. Very bad service.

Open box delivery ruins the experience
I hate open box delivery. Imagine you buy your dream phone and the delivery person comes in a hurry to go and strips the seal recklessly by ruining the box, and handles your brand new phone with his dirty hands. It totally ruins the experience. I also like to take an unboxing video for my memories, but now I can’t do that either. I will not buy from Amazon if there is open box delivery. I am asking you all to complain this to Amazon. Raise your voice.

Worst experience bitter taste product
Worst experience. Ordered walnut of 4*500 g packs on Nutraj brand. When I opened and had it after few days it was not consumable and bitter taste. All 4 packages same issues. Unfortunately it's not returnable. Now if you buy in a local shop you can atleast go and show them in this case. Ordering online is convenient but not all the time your money is safe. Be careful when ordering in large quantities.
Really bad service
Really bad service. I have ordered a mobile phone (order number: 406-3384638-2087513) and it was not delivered to my door step and they asked me to collect it from their warehouse. I contacted the customer service and they said it will be delivered to my door step but the delivery agent cancelled the order without my consent. I will never use Amazon for anything.

I bought a CCTV camera that was defective. Amazon refused to arrange a return and forced me to ship it myself. I did exactly that.
Because the courier was sent as part of a bulk shipment, no courier booking receipt was issued—only tracking information. It has now been over two months, and Amazon refuses to even look at the tracking, repeatedly demanding a receipt that does not exist.
Customer support was contacted multiple times and simply says “nothing can be done.” No responsibility, no resolution, no customer care.
This is a clear example of how far Amazon has fallen. Follow their instructions, and you’re still left with nothing. Disgraceful.
