Excellent company their products are second to none and the service from my first contact with the lady on the phone to the delivery. Why would you not contact them ?, really they are so good

Fantastic range of products and adept at wrangling unruly GPs to get you the healthcare you need; honestly couldn't recommend this company enough. My named customer service rep, Caroline, is the only reason I am sane and able to access life saving care.

Mr Akhtar was fantastic and a lifesaver. After using the same product for 14 years, to find out the hard way (through 3 months of constant leaks) that the company had change the formula on the sealant of the stoma bags. I had to start from the beginning again. I contacted Amcare(Convatec) online and requested samples. After a telephone conversation with Mr Akhtar, he sent me new stoma bags. They are amazing! No more leaks, very comfortable, wearable etc. Mr Akhtar kept in contact with me throughout. He is very good at his job and very understanding considering the area we are dealing with. I am most appreciative of Mr Akhtar advise and assistance. I can confidently get on with my life without any further issues. Thank you so much Mr Akhtar for all your help, you really did save my life from complete and utter misery. Keep up the great work, it's invaluable to stoma patients/clients.

I had received some samples to try the esteem body urostomy pouch. I had a lovely telephone conversation with umair akhtar who got me the actual pouch that fits my stoma. I would recommend these bags 100% I know i will be switching to these on my next order and thank Umair for getting the one that suits me.

I was trying to sort out a confusion between another company and Amcare. Trying to sync suppliers, bags, hole size etc etc was becoming a nightmare and all the people I spoke to at Amcare were excellent, understanding and efficient. Umair Akhtar pulled the multiple strings together, but I had started the process with a couple of others and they were all brilliant. I'm a small cog in a big wheel but they took my stress from sky high to none at all. Thank you so much.

Wonderful care and empathy from Andy Hodgson, product specialist. He really listened to me, understood my concerns and calmly reassured me that they could be resolved. He was incredibly knowledgable about stoma care products and stoma care and answered all of my questions with professionalism and kindness. I received my samples today having spoken to him yesterday. I will have no hesitation in ringing Amcare again for help if I need it. Thank you Andy.

Fabulous service, requested a sample of new stoma bags. Spoke to an extremely helpful and knowledgeable Product Specialist. He suggested I try a few other new items to help with leakage problems I had. The products arrived speedily and were great to try. From the packaging, to the design and the results - absolutely phenomenal!

I’ve had a Stoma for over 30 years, in the last 5 years Stephen M and SJ have transformed how I live with the condition, by the personal and emphatic aspect of how they deliver a vital service.

I’m currently in training for an Open Water Long Distance Swimming Event and have been able to talk and take advice from both of these outstanding professionals on improving my product range.

I’ve always been a “crack on with life” type of person with the challenges of Stoma Life, but having Stephen and SJ support me in the manner they do, makes things so much more easier.

My most sincere thanks to them both / I would add - if anyone reading this is unsure about Stoma Products and struggling with what they currently use - I really urge you to speak to Amcare and Convatec, it’s a life changing experience.

Spoke to Jeanette (Cheltenham) over my mothers stoma order and an issue with item being out of stock and she was extremely helpful, went to great lengths to investigate for me and even phoned me back with an update. Customer service doesn’t get much better than this - thank you Jeanette, you’re a credit to Amcare.

My initial contact with Umair was so good, he is very knowledgeable about their products and from a few question he was able to reccomend the pouch that would suit me. He got samples out to me super quick so i could try them as quickly as possible.
I was the contacted by Sharon from the welcome team who are super helpful and understanding.
I had issues with some, not all, of the pouches. Great response from her and further contact with Umair who made me feel heard and understood.

THE STOMA PRODCT GUY AKHTAR UMAIR WAS GREAT LOTS OF GREAT ADVICE.

Really lovely staff, who are sensitive , discreet and helpful. Incredibly efficient service and turn around time for orders. Good website with lots loads of useful information. Lots of praise for everyone I have spoken to , especially Kevin and Marriane.

Had my stoma for 18 years and all was going well until I lost a lot of weight and had to have my gallbladder removed so I changed bags. Then Covid hit and brexit and the bags didn’t seem the same. I had lots of leakages and to be honest felt rather suicidal, depressed etc. I was recommended the new Convatec esteem body bag and was really impressed with them and fairly put them to the test!! I love the way they feel, the drainage, the ease on applying the bag and I am now at ease with confidence. So I moved to Convatec, Jo and the rest of the team are really professional and help you in every way. I wish I had explored the options before but like many others didn’t want to be a bother.

Had a good experience with Andy, trying out colostomy bags until we found one that suited me. Placed first order with Amcare, it arrived promptly two days later. Nice welcome holder. Surprised that I only received two bags of dry wipes (one wipe per stoma bag) and no wet wipes. I was with Salts Healthcare and there I received 4 dry wipe bags and wet wipes. I guess that cut backs affect all companies.

Staff so helpful nothing to much bother a lady called Jennifer was very good explained it all to me helped me so much trying your product s and it’s going great thanks to all the team
