For 37 1/2 years my quarterly payment was $39 every 3 months I just got a bill for my new payment to be $272.66. I am 79 1/2 years how can this happen they are trying to get me to cancel as I can not afford . They bill me I pay for 37 1/2 years same price for $11,800 life insurance . I asked what is my refund if I cancel they said zero . I turned all paper work over to the insurance commissioner and let them deal with it . I give them minus 1,000

Claim examiner at Americo are rude and lazy life insurance examiner told me on phone that he has 370 cases ahead of me and that he will get to it , he also has given me the run around for months repeating his lies each time we speak and recycling lies then when I say hey you said that lie last month he then switches to a new lie, they have no respect for the family loved ones who passed away , my relative hasn’t been buried properly because this company drags out the payout process so long because they can contest it but what about the mental health of the relatives who paid for life insurance and is not asking for a hand out it’s something we plan for but why take a family through this long drawn out process. The managers is no help they back the examiners , they are just as nonchalant and bold with words when a grieving person don’t wanna be given the run around when grieving . I will be taking them to court for this mental agony they are taking me through during this difficult time of my loved one passing mind you he passed in February

Just 2 months ago I purchased this life insurance. Just last month my apartment lease was up for signing for another year. The problem rose when they raised the rent. My student loan payments are soon starting. I am 67 years old retired. I receive a very small social security check which makes it impossible to cover all the expenses as is. The agent I was send too spoke to me at an EXTREMELY rude level.
Do we low income people deserve that?
PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS LIFE INSURANCE. You deserve better.

Americo keeps coming up with excuses to not pay my matured annuity. I'm still waiting for my money. It's almost a month gone by since my annuity matured

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Here’s why. I put 2 clients in the Growth Commander annuity and placed them in the S&P IQ Index. Regardless of the explanation how this index is managed, ANYONE would Assume it is based upon the S&P Index (It’s in the title), right? WRONG? In one contract the client should have been credited with approximately 12% since that is what the S&P went up over the first year. THEY CREDIT HER WITH .05%. Another client should have received about 16%, THEY WERE CREDITED WITH LESS THAN ONE. When I approached Americo about this I just got disclaimers about how it was not the “original” S&P so the returns don’t compare. WHY HAVE THE S&P name in it if it doesn’t REMOTELY reflect the S&P. THAT’S OUTRIGHT DECEIT!! Additionally, every company has 30 days to reallocate at the anniversary, BUT NOT AMERICO. They only give 14 days so now I can’t even reallocate away from this disaster. This is a rip off, money grab, and just downright wrong. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Daughter worked here for 2 weeks..Americo's script is based on lying to customer (VETRANS) to make sale..
Company buys leads...She made a big sale without lying and less than a week later sale was stolen from her..she snapped screenshot of sales people bragging about lying to make a sale..not good..dont go here.

I'm so irriated with this company. When you go to speak to someone about a situation they give you the run around. I have questions about my Roth IRA and I cant seem to get anyone one the phone. I really done with and just want to invest my money else where.

This company ripped me off for thousands of dollars.
I would like to get together with some of their previous clients and hire an
Attorney.
From reading the reviews I feel I am not the only one that has had problems with this company!

this in spite of the poor telephone technology redirecting calls from Chris to my voicemail instead of my phone. I couldn't keep in contact with Chris, therefore. Calls to him went directly to company voicemail. NOT HELPFUL!!!!
