The Amicable system itself is very efficient and worked seamlessly for both of us at our respective ends. Everything was handled remotely, which made things much easier to manage, and the portal gave us clear visibility of each stage. I came to Amicable as a woman with absolutely no experience of dealing with formal processes such as this. I was apprehensive and somewhat daunted. But Dan made the whole process easy to understand and work through even though we had trouble trying to get the counter-party to engage. It was also great to have the Amicable dashboard to input information jointly, review documents and monitor progress and to know when we would be prompted to review, and sign documents. Where communication between couples is still 'amicable' it is a great alternative to having to pay for two solicitors.
