I am forever grateful to Allah that i have found an nissa academy, alhamdulillah. Its truly uplifted me spirituality in so many ways. Over the years Appa has consistently instilled in us this sacred knowledge and i can't express how grateful i am. Appa's discipline, determination, and resilience towards us has empowered us to be strong women alhamdulillah. So i would highly recommend an nissa academy to everyone in sha allah

I am studying the Alimiyyah course and in 4th year, I’ve completed my hifz with the academy. I can’t recommend it enough,!

A place that claims to nurture spirituality should, unsurprisingly, be able to accept feedback without questioning someone's identity, mental state or intentions. Nobody expects an institution to please everyone. But professionalism is measured in how you choose to handle this, and so far you've decided to ask other people for reviews without reflecting which is by definition : the active, conscious process of analyzing one’s own experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to gain self-awareness, improve future performance, and foster personal growth .

Being made to feel small in a religious setting is not 'malicious feedback that is untrue', it's a real experience.

I have absolutely nothing to gain for doing this review or sharing this, if anything, it would have been easier to stay silent. But silence helps nobody. For those reading : look at not only the reviews but at the responses. That's where you'll see the true culture of this organisation.

It's also very suspicious there's a sudden wave of 5-star reviews appearing within hours many from first time accounts - actually makes you look suspicious which is so ironic and raises alot of eyebrows.

I stand by my real experience alhamdulliah

This academy has truly changed my life. Because of my teacher, I feel like I’m on a genuine spiritual path—one that grounds me and pushes me to become a better person, not just academically but personally as well. Whenever I reach out for help regarding fiqh or anything I don’t understand, they always make time for me, even with their busy schedules.

I will never forget being randomly called just to be asked how I was doing. That moment meant more to me than words can express. This place is not just about teaching; it’s about care, guidance, and sincere concern for the student as a whole.

Because of this institution, I am now able to guide the younger generation and my partner with correct Shariah guidance, ensuring that what I pass on is rooted in knowledge, understanding, and sincerity. It has also changed how I carry myself—my character, etiquette, and adab—helping me become more mindful, respectful, and grounded in my actions.

This academy is for those who truly want to grow—those who are willing to accept correction and understand that growth isn’t always comfortable. A true teacher is one who guides you, even when the guidance isn’t what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. We’re often not used to being corrected, but this institution does so with wisdom, patience, and genuine care, always aiming to help us improve.

I’m deeply grateful to be part of this academy and for the spiritual and personal growth it has helped me achieve.

7Its alright - mainly because of one calm, kind lady who actually made the place feel welcoming. But that didn’t last. The moment I got moved to another class, everything went downhill fast. If you’re looking for a rigid, inflexible environment where “strict” is basically the whole personality, then sure, this mosque might be your dream. But for anyone who learns differently or needs even a bit of understanding, it’s honestly a miserable experience.
For me, it wasn’t just unhelpful, it pushed me away from my religion. That’s the part that still frustrates me. A place that’s supposed to nurture faith shouldn’t make you dread showing up.
I eventually left and went to learnqurancentre instead, and the difference was unbelievable. They actually treated me like a person, cared about my progress, and helped me reconnect with Islam in a positive way - something this place completely failed at.
You don’t have to look far to find a better mosque. If you want your kids to love Islam rather than resent it, skip this one. And honestly, the fact that learnqurancentre is cheaper and doesn’t force you into weekend classes and a five-day grind with no breaks just makes this place look even worse.

Thanks for your response Al nisa, the defensive replies from your end is very unprofessional and you may not think this, but many people zone in on the way a business responds to criticism. You questioning whether I am real, and suggest that I am just hating for no reason makes many people, not just me, uneasy. You really make yourself seem less approachable and less willing to self-reflect, exactly what these reviews are saying. Well done, really.

An-Nissa Academy provides a nurturing and supportive environment where students can develop their understanding of Islam. The teachers are supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable individuals who are very dedicated to their students. The lessons are well-structured, informative and engaging, allowing students to feel comfortable asking questions and effectively communicate with teachers. As a student at the academy myself, I find it is the perfect environment for me to grow and has greatly strengthened my knowledge in my Alimiyyah studies. 😊😊

let my child go into this mosque, teacher made my kid cry 2 times in one week. started to hate going to mosque which i couldn't believe as no Muslim learning about Islam should feel. muhammad. peace be upon him said in sahih hadith. "Whoever is not merciful to our young ones or does not acknowledge the rights of our elders is not one of us."

the fact that you tried to label this review as malicious is very disappointing. you give detentions for the smallest of things, you never encourage thinking about this religion and install whatever fear you can behind a screen. i wasted money on this experience and genuinely want to help others, but no its negative and untrue. do better. this religion is all about accepting faults but i see none in your actions!

This is by far one of the most worst mosque ever! I've been to many mosques previously but this ons stood out to be extremely mean and rude and just in the teaching style alone? That deserves below a 1. Horrible horrible horrible!!!

Horrible people, unempathetic, malicious and just cruel. Especially Shazia, the owner. Why did you choose to build a business surrounding kids where you don't even like them? You being a cruel mosque teacher has made me have bad associations. Good job.

This is one of the best academies I’ve sent my child to, very pleased!
