The suction is rubbish -does not stick to work surface on most attempts and on the rare occasions it does grip, you only get a couple of swipes before it’s loose again. Disappointing because, as a sharpener, it seems to do a decent job but unfortunately not what it says on the tin.

Impulse purchase from an ad on social media, and sometimes you just don’t know what you’ll get. This, however, is a lovely little sharpener - nicely designed, simple to use and it does what it says in sharpening any knife, including a serrated bread knife. Happy with my purchase and quick delivery!

Prompt delivery. Seems to sharpen ok, but falls down on the suction pad... Which doesn't work on any surface.. Made in China which tells me all i need to know..

The replacement blades arrived promptly and were easy to git

They don’t tell you that you really have to slap the sharpener hard down on the surface and then fold the lever for the suction pad over. If you don’t slap it down hard, the suction won’t work. At least that is how my ( new one) operates! Once in place, it works well.

I have tried countless knife sharpeners all promising super sharp blades only to be dissapointed. Anysharp was another try and WOW it works and is so simple to use and SAFE which many are not.At last I have a sharpener that works as I believe the most dangerous item in a kitchen is a blunt knife.
