I signed a 12 month contract and was…

I signed a 12 month contract and was told it was month to month contract and I could cancel anytime. Make sure to read the fine print. I almost had to pay a $200 to end the contract. But, Aptive did end up waiving the fee which I was very thankful for.

Experience with Aptive Pest Control

Usually on arrival they ask if there are any particular insect issues I have been experiencing, so that they can address them first. They then inform me, by text, of what they are treating my home for on the particular visit. They attach photos of where they have treated. Since their monthly treatments, I have not seen ants on my property, the number of roaches observed within the bedrooms have also not been as prevalent as before.

Very good work

Very good work, and the person they send most often is named Jacob. He does an excellent job; sometimes another worker comes, but he doesn't do it as well as Jacob. I like the service and have recommended the company.

Service tech Calvin Liang great service

I was very pleased to have Calvin Liang service my house.
He was professional and thorough addressing the various pests issues around my house.
I request that Aptive schedule Calvin to service my house for future appointments.
Scheduling the same tech who is familiar with clients surrounding is a plus.

Always had great experience with Aptive…

Always had great experience with Aptive but Richard was the best. Treatment was done last 4/25 and he focused to each areas and listened to our needs and give advice on what to do. Good customer service and thumbs up to Richard!

Aggressive sales and contract

The services are good, no problem. I don't like the aggressive sales and the long initial term of the contract - have to pay for the cancellation fee.

A well run organization

I have been very happy with the services from Aptive Pest Control.
The 2 service technicians I have had have been extremely knowledgeable when I asked questions or concerns about the treatment. I especially like the way they keep you informed when they are scheduled to come and on the day they text you to keep you informed of exactly when they are coming. Like I'm 30 minutes away etc. Then when they get to your home they text again that they have arrived. I particularly appreciate the pictures of the area they treated when they have finished. Truly a well run organization.

This company is ANNOYING

This company is ANNOYING! It does not have a local office for a customer to speak with someone. I've been a customer for several years and EVERY time my service date rolls around, I'm given a date two or three days ahead and an all-day window(8 to 5) in which they will arrive. I text them every time asking for a 4 hour window and a week's notice in advance, since I like to be at home to speak with the tech. I'm looking for a local company.

I’ve had the service for over a year

I’ve had the service for over a year. I’ve tried canceling many times. They still show up and then they top it off. They’re still all sorts of insects around my house

Sergio

Sergio, the technician, messaged me that he would be arriving in 30 minutes. This gave me time to unlock the gate, they also let you know via text a week beforehand. He arrived, knocked on the door, wanted to know if we had any issues that he needed to address. I told him what was going on and he then treated and swept the eaves for cobwebs. He was polite and let me know when he was done also and sent photos of his work.

Overall

Overall, service is pretty good. Only complaint is that they do not give enough notice prior to their service. For example, you receive notice a day prior saying they are coming, but the day of, you get a 30 minute notification - not enough time in my opinion. I’ve expressed my concerns, but no changes have been made.
