Adam from Aptive Pest Control was outstanding. We’ve had plenty of door-to-door salespeople knock on our door over the years, and we’ve always said no. Adam was different.

He took the time to answer all of our questions, never made us feel pressured, and clearly explained the value of the service. He helped us understand how it could make our summer more enjoyable with fewer mosquitoes and flies, while also protecting our three pups from ticks and fleas.

What really stood out was how personable and genuine he was. He wasn’t pushy at all, just knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on helping us make the best decision. In fact, Adam was the main reason we decided to give Aptive a try.

If the service is anything like the experience we had with Adam, we’re looking forward to being customers. Thanks again for the great experience!

My experience with Aptive has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Aptive sales representative came to my home and offered what he described as a summer trial pest control plan for $45 per month from May through September. Based on that specific offer, I agreed to sign up.

However, when I received the contract, it showed completely different terms: $64 per month and a 12-month commitment. I immediately contacted Collin, who acknowledged the discrepancy and told me he was working to correct it and would send me an updated agreement. No revised agreement was ever provided.

On June 9, I was charged $64, the exact amount I had disputed. When I contacted Collin again, he apologized and promised that a refund would be processed within 1–2 days. The refund never arrived. Since then, my attempts to follow up have gone unanswered.

The situation became even worse when I tried to cancel the service. Aptive informed me that I would have to pay a $199 cancellation fee. As a result, I am being asked to pay:

• $29 initial fee
• $64 monthly charge that I disputed
• $199 cancellation fee

That's a total of $292 for a single service visit under terms that were never represented to me during the sales process.

I have text message records documenting the original $45/month offer, Collin's acknowledgment that the contract terms were incorrect, and his promise to issue a refund. Despite providing this information, Aptive has not resolved the issue.

Customers should carefully review everything before signing and should not rely solely on verbal representations made during the sales process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Aptive.

I have two bait stations. I specifically (in a text “written” request) asked that each be filled. Only one was filled. I was very disappointed. I have been a customer for many years.

Ants keep returning

Ants keep returning. They don't seem to be able to keep even small ants away. This is even after re-treatment.

Jame's Excellent Service

Jame is always right on time and very thorough in spraying all of the areas we ask and then some. Even the cracks in the driveway and other small places around the house were completed.

great review of proposed work, great followup!!

After discussion of latest ants and wasps concerns, the Aptive tech followed through with his part, also recommending porch ceiling red cedar ceiling staining/sealing to prevent future wasp and carpenter bee infestations and hive building.

Some things seem to have changed

Some things seem to have changed at Aptive. I had to call about scheduling, since none was listed. I don't know if I have the same location servicing my home. The technician went a bit too fast. Overall, the service was "OK," but not as good as I was used to.
