Polite professional service but gaps in effectiveness and/or portfolio leaves me looking for add-ons from other providers. I prefer a one stop shop..... Carpenter bees and mosquitoes

To clarify, although carpenter bees are not part of our service offerings, as they're considered a wood-destroying pest and typically require a different treatment approach, we do offer mosquito treatments for our Pro and Premium plans.

Certainly NOT what I signed up for

My experience with Aptive has gone downhill fast. First, they sent me an email reminder for a service appointment on 4/6 — no one showed. When I called, I was told my actual appointment was 4/14. The CSR didn’t seem concerned at all that their reminder system was completely wrong.

She asked what I needed done, and I listed several items. The technician arrived with none of that information. He explained they were recently bought out and their system is a mess now, which honestly tracks with what I experienced.

It got worse from there. They had no supplies to refill the outdoor traps they originally installed. The treatment they used this time was totally different from what I was sold during the contract — and it looked ineffective both inside and outside. All the “bells and whistles” they promised at sign‑up seem to have disappeared.

To be clear, none of this reflects on the technician himself — he did a great job with what he had to work with. The issues are entirely with Aptive’s scheduling, communication, and overall service quality.

Overall, the service quality, communication, and professionalism have dropped significantly. Very disappointing.

Good communications

Good communication from company and technicians in the field. Polite and thorough as far as I have experienced since the Aug. of 2021. Price has increased at a rate that, I believe, is higher than inflation. Last increase was $129 to $141. Not the lowest price but not the highest.

I still have ants all over the yard

I still have ants all over the yard. Red ants , black ants, brown ants. Sugar ants making their way up onto my deck heading to the backdoor. They won’t do anything about mice except sticky traps in the house or garage. I certainly don’t want to open a closet and find a squirming mouse in a sticky trap! They’re fired as soon as I can get out of contract.
