I’ve recently purchased a 24inch custom made flat weft and could not be happier. From start to finish the customer service has been incredible. The hair feels soft, luxurious and is incredible quality. I would say it’s longer than 24 inches in comparison to my weft from my previous supplier but this great as it allows length to be cut and styled in the initial fitting. It also holds a curl nicely and I’m on my third day of a curl which is a tell tale sign of very good quality hair. Alongside my hair, I bought aftercare products. The shampoo and conditioner not only smell gorgeous but they keep my hair clean for days. I’m really pleased with my hair and the whole package from Archie Lloyds, they have a personalised and superior edge over some of the more “well known” brands

I purchased the 24 Inch Custom Superior Genius Weft in Glacier (150g) just before Christmas, and the experience with Archie Lloyd’s has been nothing short of exceptional. Despite courier delays caused by severe storms, the team went above and beyond to ensure my extensions arrived in time for my scheduled appointment, even earlier than the delivery date.

Communication was outstanding throughout. I received prompt, reassuring replies even outside of office hours, which truly reflects the level of care and professionalism behind the brand. The colour-matching process via Instagram DM was effortless, and the match itself was flawless and natural blend.

The quality of the hair is undeniably premium: soft, luxurious, and beautifully finished. The aftercare products are equally impressive and clearly designed to maintain the integrity of the hair. The guarantee offered also speaks volumes. Any company willing to stand behind their product in this way is clearly confident in its quality, and it shows.

Having worn hair extensions for over 10 years, and tried brands such as HairKings, Sway, and Beauty Works, I can confidently say Archie Lloyd’s surpasses them all. I’m now two months in, and the quality remains just as exceptional as day one. I’ll provide another update in a few months, but I have no doubt the hair will continue to perform beautifully.

The extensions appeared used, tangled, and came without a hairnet, while the packaging was re-taped and the leaflet just thrown in.Reaching out to the company via Instagram, they claimed they'd initiate a courier claim but provided no real updates, requiring constant follow-ups from me. When I tried escalating the issue with PayPal, I faced more disappointment. The seller falsely asserted that they had offered a $100 refund, which they hadn't, and PayPal didn't help since their policy doesn't cover damaged products.I attempted to contact them again about the supposed refund, but my messages were ignored. The company's communication was frustratingly poor, and they provided no updates on the courier claim. This ordeal dragged on for over two months.Desperate to make the best of the situation, I washed the extensions with professional products, but the hair remained tangled and patchy. When I reported this, they refused to accept responsibility and blocked me on Instagram. I shared my experience in a popular hair extensions Facebook group, discovering many others had faced similar problems, with reports of deceptive marketing and suspect reviews.Overall, dealing with Archie Lloyd was a frustrating experience, with poor product quality, unhelpful customer service, and questionable ethics, making the price unjustifiable.

Attending the weft course was an incredible experience! The training was thorough and practical, leaving me eager and self-assured to begin. The instructors were warm and inviting, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. The inclusion of lunch was a delightful bonus. Any initial nervousness vanished the moment I arrived. I wholeheartedly suggest this course to anyone considering a venture into hair extensions!

I ordered hair extensions from Archie Lloyd and paid $850 (after a discount: originally priced at $1,050). For that kind of money, I expected high-quality hair and professional service. Instead, I received a product that was clearly tampered with.
The package arrived in a flimsy, damaged box. The extensions looked used, the packaging was re-taped, the hair was already knotted and damaged, the hairnet was missing, and the leaflet was bent and poorly thrown in. It was an unprofessional mess.
I reached out to the company via Instagram. They initially said they would file a courier claim, but gave no real updates. I had to chase them for any response.
I then tried to escalate through PayPal, but was unsuccessful. The seller falsely claimed they had offered me a $100 partial refund, which was never true, I was never offered anything at all.
And paypal was useless as their policy doesn’t cover damage product received, which doesn’t make sense, and was unable to request a chargeback through the bank due to the nature of paypal transactions… I then tried to contact them again to ask regarding the partial refund and they just ignored my messages leaving it on “seen”
They never updated me on the courier claim either, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pocketed it themselves as-well.
This back and forth went on for over 2 months!
Hoping to salvage the product, I then washed the extensions using professional hair extension products, but the hair remained tangled, uneven/ patchy colour, and unusable. When I told them this, they refused to take responsibility and deflected all blame, and then blocked me on instagram entirely!!!
When I originally received it, i shared my experience in a well-known hair extensions Facebook group, I found many others had similar issues. Several people said they received low-quality products and noted the brand uses sneaky advertising tactics, including what appear to be paid or fake positive reviews to mislead buyers.
This entire experience felt like a scam. The product quality, customer service, and company ethics were all appalling! especially for the price.

I had such a great experience doing the weft course! The training was really informative and hands on, and I left feeling confident and excited to get started. The girls running the course were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole day feel really comfortable and fun. Lunch was also provided, which was a lovely touch. All the nerves left me as soon as I walked in.
Highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting into hair extensions!

By far the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with 100% AVOID. I placed my original order on the 7th of June, for reference I did order a custom length and I knew delivery time would be a little extra. At the start they were so helpful they were replying to my emails almost immediately even on Sundays/ late in the evening when I wouldn’t have been expecting a reply I thought they were great. I received my first package on the 26th of June so just over two weeks after placing my order which I was expecting as it’s a custom length. I ordered two colors and one of the colors was totally different, it was meant to be a blonde mixed with a cool toned brown, it was blonde mixed with an orangey blonde. I emailed them for help and they replied with an automated message claiming that it was due to phone lighting and filters etc, as a hairdresser myself I understand that lighting etc plays a huge part in how it looks on the phone vs in person but this was such a huge difference in color that using that as an excuse is unacceptable. After that they became awful to deal with I tried to arrange sending the hair back for new hair and they were no help whatsoever ignoring emails for days until I had to send another email to get a reply eventually they stopped replying to my emails all together (all I was asking in the emails was for pictures of a shade close to the one I ordered they could replace the hair I got with) no help. Eventually I messaged the number on their website and I got a reply with a picture of a shade that still wasn’t close to the hair they have advertised on their website but at this stage I don’t care what color it comes I’ve waited so long for it I’ll just take the hair and color it myself in salon. It was the 8th of July by the time I got a response and I had been emailing since the 26th of June. I sent back the hair through tracked post which meant I was spending even more money. I send proof that the hair was send through tracked post and once the hair was sent I asked if they could start processing the new order immediately since, obviously it is still a custom length and wait times are longer. I was told on the 10th of July that they had only begun processing the order and sending it for delivery. It’s now the 21st of July and I’ve still received no tracking number or response from the company at all. 7 weeks since my original order and still don’t have the extensions. I heard great things about this company and I had clients waiting to see my hair wanting to place an order from them also as they offer custom lengths but from now on I will be telling every single extension client that sits in my chair to stay away, and other hairdressers in the industry also. For the amount of money you’re spending the rudeness is astonishing.

I recently purchased hair extensions from Donna in Archie Lloyds and I am so pleased. this is my second purchase from Donna. The quality of my hair extensions is outstanding, feels incredibly soft, blends seamlessly, and looks so natural. You can tell these are premium, extensions that will last.
Their customer service was excellent. From the moment I placed my order, Donna and her team were quick to respond, helpful, and genuinely caring. They answered all my questions about colour matching and application, and I was surprised when they even followed up with me after delivery to ensure I was satisfied. When I needed guidance on styling, they provided professional tips that made all the difference.
The extensions themselves arrived quickly and were beautifully packaged. I love the results and have received so many compliments! The hair holds curls beautifully and washes well even after weeks of wear.

First time buying from Archie Lloyds. Within less than 4 weeks the hair had extreme breakage and become very very thin. I have had extensions for years so know how to care for them- awful quality.

I had bought from hairkings for years until I found Archie Lloyd’s. Their hair doesn’t compare to any other brand. So much smoother, feels like real hair, looks more realistic, washes so much better, awww I could go on! Hair has lasted me over a year whereas other brands I was getting 3 months max- Archie Lloyd’s is a game changer in the hair extensions industry for sure!

So after lots of recommendations, I decided to give Archie Lloyd's a go, I was really sceptical at first as I always am when ordering new hair. I'm an extension wearer and I've tried a lot of big brands and unfortunately previously been left disappointed. I've had the hair in for 3 weeks and every time I wash it - it feels as soft as the day I brought it. Not only that but I had to dye it to match my hair and it still felt insane (I was sceptical as I know dying isn't recommended) - but long story short, I'm obsessed with the hair. Brilliant customer service aswell.
I also found them so affordable in comparison to some other brands and this hair is better quality! If you're thinking of ordering - do it.

I just wanted to add - I have seen a previous review saying the ends are fine and look frazzled - the ends of my weft were slightly finer but it gave a more natural finish when fitted. My hair extensions do have a natural wave at the ends (when wet) and when it drys it does have texture (just like natural hair would before heat has been applied) - however the second I straighten or curl it the hair looks sleek and exactly how it's supposed to - to me it just confirms it's 100% human and high quality 🥰

I have recently completed a U tip hair extension course at Archie Lloyds. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed straight away from Donna and Denise. The course was small which I liked as it allowed Denise to go over everything In more depth with each one of us if needed, and gave us tips and tricks from her own knowledge of working in the salon. Donna made sure everything was going to plan and her communication since finishing the course has been fantastic, checking in with us to see how things are going and offering further guidance. I travelled 2 hours to attend and I highly recommend the training academy and look forward to booking my next course.

First off, I’ve been a tape in extension user for about 15 years. I have tried glamseamless, BELLAMI, Zala, Amazon, Bombay .. you name it I’ve tried it. I’ve been very disappointed in all of these brands. They are either too thin or the blondes never look right. Most of them dry out so bad within the first few washes. Sometimes after the first or second wash. These extensions not only are thick from root to ends but they are soft. They don’t feel fake. They’re soft like my real hair. Normally I can tell a different between my hair and the extensions and with these they are so soft. No shedding. I hardly get any shedding. I see myself wearing these for a while. I will be ordering from this company from now on and my clients will as well. 10/10 customer service and the shipping was way faster then they had said they arrived two days earlier then expected. I am a forever customer!

The training school has small class numbers so you get a lot of one to one time with Donna (the teacher.) She is extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I trained in the mech integrated system. The girls are very helpful & I am confident that I can contact them at any point in the future if I have any issues or need help or advice in regards to this system. I am continuing to practice this method at home & submitting images & videos of my work for assessment and I also plan on learning more methods of hair extensions continuing my training with Archie Lloyds.

It’s lovely to be able to do the course in person as I feel that I was able to get a better understanding of it. And I’m looking forward to learning more through this training Acadamy in the future.

The color of the hair was what I expected. They sent a great brush for free with my order. However, the quality of hair is not great. My stylist had to cut off at least 4 inches because the ends were so much thinner than the rest. I've had them in less than a week and the ends are splitting and/or frazzled looking. I always do proper extension care with very little direct heat. I wanted to love them, but was disappointed.

I have been buying my hair extensions from Archie Lloyds for so many years now. The hair is such good quality and lasts me a whole year! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Really happy with the service. It was easy to find what I was looking for from length, colour and quality. I was on the hunt for a new supplier as my previous one had a long turnover and I'm over the moon for the swift change in delivery as I need my birthday hair soon and it's Easter. I will most certainly be ordering for my clients.
