Artful and Arches recently installed a new wet room ensuite for me, and I’m absolutely delighted with the result. The workmanship was excellent, and the finish is beautiful. Their customer service was exceptional from start to finish, and they were always friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to have around. The whole process felt professional and well-managed. I would highly recommend them.

We had a brilliant experience using the Artful and Arches team. They were very professional, reliable and easy to work with. We used them to build a ground floor extension, new downstairs WC, kitchen and utility room. The quality of their work is excellent and I would definitely use them again.

We had been recommended to Naz by a neighbour and were delighted to find that he, and his wife Clara who deals with the admin side, communicated well throughout the process - something frustratingly rare with builders these days. Our job was a relatively small one; opening up a chimney breast in order to make space for a fridge-freezer, but they were happy to do the project. They carried out the work to the timescale agreed at the start and everything was done to a high standard. Naz and his team always tidied up the site as much as possible at the end of each day and clearly took pride in their work. The end result was just as we'd hoped and we would definitely go to Artful and Arches for any further work we need doing. We'd highly recommend them and on top, would like to say that they are the loveliest people that we have ever dealt with in this trade! Thank you so much Naz, Clara and team :-)

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Naz and Clara. They recently carried out some building work for me and the first and second fit for my kitchen project. All work carried out by them is of the highest standard , and they are helpful and always contactable.
Their team then painted the rest of my house. And when I look to change my bathroom I will look for them to complete both the design and fit.

Very good work from Nazim himself. He is a very friendly, careful and skillful worker and did an excellent job preparing for and finishing a new kitchen and cloakroom. The painters he sent, Eri and colleague, were very good too, and so was the father-and-son team of plasterers. It was definitely an advantage that Artful and Arches works hand in hand with Schmidt Kitchens. It meant that Schmidt didn't charge me extra for storing the kitchen units when the preparatory work got delayed. Clara was always quick to respond to my queries and managed to send Nazim whenever something urgent came up. She was not quite as hands on as a project manager as, I imagine, she would normally have been, since she was expecting to give birth any moment. But the work got finished in time and to a high standard: Thank you, I'm very happy with it!

Very happy with our New kitchen . Claras planning and design were excellent and Naz and his Crew were perfectionists nothing was to much for them On top of this they were respectful , very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely great service from both Naz and Clara .Unlike some workmen Naz never gives up to rectify matters he works long and hard to deliver the best and in tricky situations always finds a way. Clara is equally fantastic and her input to ideas top notch and project management basically a great team honest trustworthy and high standards.Naz transformed a dull mouldy bathroom to higher than hotel standards quite luxury- and did it in the time frame stipulated. I would totally recommend and will have them both back in the new year for another project

We had a new Tom Howley kitchen installed about 6 months ago and needed a building company to strip out the old kitchen, make good and sort out the electrics, gas and plumbing.
Naz and Clara were recommended to us and we can't praise them highly enough. Clara communicated effectively and efficiently while Naz and his team were exceptionally good. All their workmen were polite, friendly and worked to a very high standard.
We would definitely use them again.

We initially received a referral for Artful and Arches from Schmidt kitchens when looking for a kitchen design. Naz and Clara are lovely and the best team we could have hoped to find, and the only company we use now. We needed our house to be completely renovated after a long period of no maintenance by the previous owner. This included new a new kitchen, bathrooms, electrics, plumbing and windows and doors. Clara is highly professional and a pleasure to deal with, while Naz is wonderfully honest and eager to do a good job. With such an old house, several things cropped up during the process that weren't visible before (woodworm etc), rather than charge additional as most builders would, Naz fixed the issue quickly and without fuss. If you want a trustworthy and reliable builder - this is the company to use!

Clara and the builders were so professional and helpful in every aspect! We had our extension done recently by Artful and arches and i couldn't recommend them enough. We had lots of quotes from other builders but none were as genuine as Clara and the team. We felt comfortable with them.

They had a project manager on the job which was a great bonus as it ensured the project ran as smoothly as possible. Of course we were faced with hiccups which is very normal, but the execution of these tougher situations was handled professionally and with care.

Clara was an excellent project manager. She was quick to respond to all our questions and had a very positive attitude to our kitchen renovation. She also has a good eye for detail and excellent interior design ideas. The building work went smoothly even though we weren’t on site and we were pleased with all the work done.

I’ve just had my kitchen done and I was so impressed with their work. Naz is a perfectionist and nothing is too much trouble. Clara is helpful, friendly and immediately replies to any concerns.

Following a ground floor extension in 2023, we needed a design for our new open-plan space but were not really inspired by plans received after working with a couple of well-known dept stores.

It was then that we turned to Clara @ Artful & Arches for help, as she had previously designed an amazing kitchen for us at Schmidt in Barnet. Not only did Clara deliver a design that was aesthetically pleasing in terms of our aspirations for the space, but it was also functional.

As soon as we saw the initial draft render, we were immediately wowed by her overall vision for the space and impressed with the way she had incorporated our ideas from the start. She asked us for honest feedback, and offered to tweak the design, make changes re the layout etc but we loved everything from the start.

Clara continued to support us throughout the project and we were encouraged to think for ourselves regarding furnishings, but were able to bounce ideas off her and at the same time learn a lot about design. Her attention to detail helped us to give character to the separate zones.

She was always receptive to our ideas, but at the same time was honest when something didn’t work. For example, she kept us on track when at times we started to stray a bit from the overall colour scheme, but was keen for us to add our own personal touches to the design at the same time.

Most of all Clara was fun to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend her services for any type of project design as she has the knowledge, experience and intuition to create a stunning scheme.

Excellent service and very easy to work with. I have to say it’s the first time I’ve actually had a good experience doing building work. When things needed to change it was all about what we wanted and what worked for us and not what’s the easier option, always a partnership and nothing was too much trouble. If you are trying to decide between Artful and Arches and someone else, do yourself a favour and just go with Artful and Arches you won’t be disappointed. Naz and Clara make a dynamite team! Naz is a brilliant perfectionist of a builder and ashtrays does things right by you. Clara keeps the management of the project on track whilst bringing in the human side. Together they built us a fabulous new bathroom which is a great new additional at to the house. Can't recommend them enough!!

Naz is a hard-working and committed professional with a positive attitude. He is punctual and takes pride in his work. All projects have unexpected issues, Naz dealt with these in his stride. He's always on hand to deal with any questions or concerns.

Naz tiled our large barn kitchen absolutely perfectly! The tiles were very large, porcelain, and had to be cut with special tools I think. They were cut perfectly with no breakages I am so fussy and all the grout lines had to be absolutely straight with my kitchen units. Not easy as the kitchen is in a 500 year old barn so walls not straight. I’m not sure how Naz did it but they are aligned perfectly! He ialso left the kitchen floor very clean each evening. He is such a lovely man and his wife Clara is really lovely too. Great communication and a pleasure to deal with. Naz will now be tiling my downstairs toilet shortly. Highly recommend!
