Ordered the cane for knee replacement recovery via Amazon. Received it in a couple of days. Workmanship is amazing and distinguish. The handle style is more comfortable and stabilizing than the standard cane he had been using.
Definitely worth every penny with the benefit of supporting a Ukraine family business

I had been putting off buying a cane for some time. I was always looking at Asterom canes and had made up my mind that when the time came, theirs would be the brand I would definitely choose.
The time did finally come when I couldn’t avoid needing a cane anymore and I did purchase an Asterom cane in cherry wood. It arrived last week and is not only perfectly functional but is also a complete work of art!
If you have any questions, Mr. Asterom is the kindest person I’ve dealt with for customer service. Do yourselves a favour and purchase an Asterom cane! It’s made my fairly recent debilitating chronic illness just a little easier to deal with.

I recently became in need of a cane after cancer and a surgery… I’m 41 years old, 5’10” and weigh 230. I contacted Asterom twice- both times I received responses within 24 hrs by the facility manager! He was walked me through weight-bearing for their canes and offered a thicker/ larger cane if I felt it was needed. Ultimately, I went with the standard cane- Celtic Bear- with engraving. It is AWESOME! Beautiful craftsmanship and VERY sturdy. Between the great customer service, and quality of cane, I won’t buy from a different company!

I now own three of these canes. Unfortunately, the finish (walnut) has gone bad and it looks terrible. But, such things sometimes happen.

I ordered another (also walnut finish) so we shall see. The third one I bought is a caramel finish and it looks great.

The handle on the caramel finish cane was a little dark on the front and did not look real good. After contacting Oleg, I received a new handle which is much better.

These canes are outstanding quality and, as you can see, I continue to buy them and will continue to do so. I will also highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Not only is the craftsmanship outstanding on these canes but the customer service is top notch!

Before I even placed my order, the customer service and communication I received from Oleg Asterom were some of the best that I have ever received. He is very knowledgeable and was willing to work to make my purchase exactly what I needed. The two canes that I purchased are of very high quality, the finish is uniform and well applied, and even the metal collar is well constructed. Will purchase my next canes from them. And the prices are amazing.

Due to advancing age, I felt I should buy a cane. It needs to be sturdy, but I also wanted it to be good looking. Research led me to order an Asterom Cane and when it arrived, I found it to be even more handsome than I had expected. These canes are hand made by a family who must be as proud of their product and they are of their name.

I’ve had significant inner ear issues the last several months. One evening, I fell three times walking home a half-mile from where I hang out. Thank goodness I didn’t break a wrist or collar bone (I’m an avid cyclist, I guess I know how to fall). Once I got home I started combing through the internet looking for something strong enough to support my weight… but also comfortable in my hand. That’s how I came to know Asterom Canes! I had no idea they were in Ukraine, I was just buying the product I felt was right for me. And now I have three of them! Two with a fancy epoxy handle (and these things are *beautiful*, I feel like I’m wearing jewelry), one hand-carved oak. These products are so very sturdy, and very good looking. I've just ordered another, as a birthday gift to me. You can't find any other of this quality, and totally worth every dollar!

There's almost always some doubt when purchasing an article that cannot be seen and felt before the purchase, especially if that article will be relied upon constantly. Given the knowledge about Asterom and its products, it was decided to give them a try. Not only was I not disappointed, I was very happy! The wood used is very firm and strong; it didn't flex when I tested it by leaning strongly on it. The shape of the grip felt as natural as if it had been custom-made for my hand. The cherry color stain and finish are just beautiful, and I very much like that I also received a wrist strap and spare rubber tip. The decorative cane ring adds a very stylish and distinctive touch. So that it retains its new appearance for as long as possible, this cane is being reserved for special occasions, and not used every day, although I would not hesitate to use it daily if it were my only cane. I am even thinking about making a storage case for the cane. I will be glad to purchase more canes from Asterom, since I believe strongly in supporting good small businesses that make good and useful products. дуже дякую!!
