My family and I recently rented Always Sunny in Port Aransas, TX. We expected quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the rental during our stay.

Unfortunately, a neighbor repeatedly came onto the property without permission and attempted to engage with us on multiple occasions. One night around 11:00 PM, the neighbor triggered our security porch light. When I opened the front door, I discovered him standing in our yard with his dog, only about five feet from the stairs leading to the entrance. This behavior was highly inappropriate and concerning, particularly because the neighbor knew the unit was occupied by renters.

I promptly reported the incident to AvantStay after our return. While they thanked me for bringing the matter to their attention, they have not proposed any corrective actions to prevent this from recurring for future guests, nor have they followed up since their initial email response. It appears the issue is not being taken seriously.

A simple and effective solution — such as installing a “No Trespassing” sign and sending a warning letter to the neighbor — could easily prevent similar incidents and help ensure a safe, private experience for all future renters, including us.

Our friend group of 6 women had a wonderful time at out Seacrest Florida rental home. The house was beautiful and spacious with a several great porches to enjoy the sunny Florida weather. Our location was convenient to the pool and the gorgeous beach with no cost trams available if walking is a problem.

We had an amazing time in Hilton Head with Avantstay! The location is unbeatable with beautiful beach views, and the home itself was perfect for our group—each bedroom having its own bathroom was such a luxury. The kitchen was massive and well-equipped, and being just steps from the beach (with an elevator!) made everything so convenient.

There were a few minor issues with the entry code, strange beeping, balcony locks, and grill, but the property manager was very responsive and came out right away to help resolve things, which we really appreciated.

Overall, a fantastic experience—we would absolutely stay here again!

The condo was spacious, tastefully decorated, and very convenient to the beach, the shops, and restaurants. The pool was very clean and very refreshing! We wouldn’t hesitate to rent an AvantStay property in the future

One of our best vacations. House was beautiful and clean. Any questions we had were answered through text or call in minutes. Everything we needed was provided in the house. I can’t wait to go back. Kids had an amazing time.

I booked this place to celebrate my wife's birthday with our closest friends. We made it a staycation for couples (which we do yearly) and this home had all that we could ask for. The view of the sunset sitting on the roof is breath taking!!

Sunset Hideaway is the perfect place to stay! We were immediately welcomed by a clean home stocked with everything you could need! There was plenty of space for everyone to feel more than comfortable. The en-suite bathrooms along with a half bath was perfect for our group. The view of the back patios to the nature preserve was stunning - we spent a lot of time out there looking at the wildlife and enjoying the sunsets. The beds, living room furniture, outdoor furniture were incredibly comfy and made us feel right at home! The hosts were amazing at communicating - so appreciated our welcome texts as well as the amenities! We are already planning a return trip back to Sunset Hideaway!

Both houses had a welcoming atmosphere, clean & enough room for all of us for a great price.

We had a wonderful stay at Stay Awhile on Lake Norman. I wouldn’t call it a luxury property, but the previous reviews set expectations well, and for an older home, it delivered exactly what we were hoping for.

It was the perfect place for our family to spend quality time together without ever needing to leave. Between kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing right off the dock where we caught bass and sunfish, and the pool outside, there was always something to do. Inside, we loved having the pool table, darts and a great selection of board games to keep everyone entertained.

The views are truly special. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with a book and taking in the lake. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed. (Note: it’s a residential neighborhood and the neighbors may be doing yard work at times)

There were a couple of very minor hiccups during our stay, but they were handled quickly and thoughtfully, exceeding expectations. The only thing to note is the water heater. It works fine, but you may need to wait about 15-20 minutes between uses, especially if you want to fill the large jetted tub upstairs.

Overall, this was a fantastic stay and an easy five stars for the experience. It gave our family the chance to slow down, reconnect and make great memories, which is exactly what we were looking for.

We had a great stay. The property is right across from the beach and the pier. There are restaurants and shops near by at walking distance. The place was clean and comfortable.

We take a family/friend vacation. We had a lot of space for the 8 of us. It was really homey and cozy. Check in and out was smooth. Everything was easy access. We will definitely be booking again.

We had such a wonderful weekend staying at this ranch house with our family. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, with a fresh breeze that smelled amazing and peaceful sounds of birds chirping all around. We loved spending time by the bonfire pit in the evenings, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and watching the stunning sunset. The lemon trees were a lovely touch, and even spotting squirrels made it feel like a true nature getaway. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience—we’d definitely love to come back!

The house was phenomenal! Location, cleanliness, amenities, comfort…10/10 recommend! Communication was great and we really have no complaints. The place had everything we needed. We saw a negative review about raccoons in the backyard…I wish we saw them! We looked every night!

Had a nice stay. Everything was clean and inviting. The only thing I'd say is that while yes once we got there, there were signs for bears, but to be prepared it would have been nice to know how close they truly got. It was a bonus to see the bears and made our trip extra fun.

The place was very nice and cozy for our getaway to Nashville. We had everything we needed, and greatly enjoyed our time staying here!! We will definitely return ourselves and recommend this to our friends!

Quiet neighborhood, great weather, outside area is perfect. Spacious and comfortable beds.
