All 3 items I ordered are nothing like the pictures. Shoes were not an English 6, both cardigans were nothing like in the picture. Then the final insult is to post £11.95 per item that came in one bag!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Shame there isn’t a negative star option - this company is fraudulent and totally corrupt. I order a ‘cotton’ dress for holidays believing this to be UK based as advertised as A&R London (or Manchester store that is closing down), clearly false advertising. The item took over 3 weeks to arrive and item certainly didn’t live up to description, I doubt any cotton was in dress. No indication of how to return so I simply package back up and returned to address label on original packaging. After 2 weeks I found email address to chase up refund, but they claimed not to have received returned item, despite being given Royal Mail tracking details and photo.

Have continued to chase for refund without success. This all started back in early July so guess I can kiss goodbye to any refund.

Unless you have money to waste don’t touch this company they are definitely not UK based. Corrupt and fraudulent in their business. Hard to believe they are getting away with this.

Wish I had read this before ordering !! Very long delay, jumper is nothing like the image not even the colour !! Hoping I actually get the refund

Once again another company that says UK based but actually in China. Returns of their seriously crap clothing have to go back to China at the customers expense so please do not buy from them !!!

I would not give them a star at all. Wish I had read reviews as the item I ordered was not what I received after waiting ages for it to come from Manchester via china and no response to 5 emails sent. Absolutely disgusting don’t waste your money.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering what was described as a "cardigan" - it's a jacket made from very cheap creased material, no label, no washing instructions. Absolute rubbish. #Apart from the design on the fabric the garment bears no relation to the one in the photo.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! This so called family business based in Manchester is nothing but a scammer who buys cheap rubbish from china, falsely advertises it and charges astronomical prices.
The dreaded cat head sculpture is nothing short of plastic tat! When I contacted them for a refund, as a gesture of goodwill I was offered 5%. I had to fight for more and got 30% eventually, which means I still paid £21 for a piece of plastic. They offer a refund if you are prepared to return product but the return is to china and you have to pay postage which is more than the actual cost of the item you are sending back! I learned the hard way and most certainly will not be scammed again.
PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

BEWARE of these SCAMMERS – DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. Read their reviews on Trustpilot - almost 90% of reviews are completely NEGATIVE. I have had a response with regards to a return of an item which was utter rubbish and nothing like the photo or description - as many others have stated, they are based in China, however I have googled the name of the return recipient in China, that is Wang Maoqin, Ningbo, China and it has uncovered a huge scam, this name and address is used for dozens of scam Chinese companies - just Google it to see - Barstewards - I have also reported the website to NCSC, a government based means of reporting scam websites and I urge you all to search on Google and report the website of these thieving scammers ASAP

Cardigan, reduced from £99 to £45 arrived after 2 weeks. A cardigan is knitted right? This is a polyester oversized shirt with fleece inside…..the picture and product are light years apart. Avery and Rose advertise on TikTok…avoid them like the plague, absolute scam.

What I received was absolutely rubbish compared to the description and photograph.
Also on further research I could have got it for a 1/4 of the price.
I'm now faced with paying to return it to China with no guarantee of a refund or put the loss down to experience .

The item I ordered looks nothing like the item that arrived!! Please do NOT buy from this firm it’s a con!! The material is horrendous - couldn’t tell you what it is though as no care label. Total rip off - have got in touch to request a refund and no reply…..

Quality of the coat was very poor and I will definitely be putting it into the charity shop as I know it will be pointless to try and send it back. Live and learn.

After a longer than promised wait, I received two items, a cardigan and a dress. The dress was a different colour/design from what I had ordered and not midi, as described, but down to my feet.
I have asked several times about return and full refund, as promised in all their advertising. They now tell me I have to send the garment back to China for a refund. This is ridiculous. Still arguing with them

Absolutely awful - nothing like the picture. Total waste of money.

I ordered a cardigan. Took ages to arrive, all crumpled and squashed into plastic bag. Not at all like photo description. Poor quality, no labels and no paperwork to advise how to return. When I tried o look up the company on line, my antivirus advised ‘Unsafe Site’. Anyone have an address for refund?

I ordered a glass cat ornament £28. It took a month to come and then it was a fake painted wood one that was ridiculous, a total joke. I have since worked out that 'Avery Rose', which makes out it is Manchester based, is in fact an online middleman based in Holland that sells knock off cheap Chinese goods and they have no idea what is being sent. This is why it take ages to get the goods and you cant return the goods even if they are fake without paying yourself to send it back to China. If you do that you will just get ripped off again. These people are criminals, do not use them.

I would not recommend this company to anybody it’s a total rip off the item does not look anything like the picture the size is not true and they are not helpful with a return it above it time trading standards looked in to this company

Do not buy from this company. Their products are very poor quality and returns have to be sent to China at your own cost.

Disappointing. Was supposed to be an £80 jumper reduced in their Sale'. I now know this is nonsense. It's cheap and not very nice. I am not usually taken in by bogus 'sales so somewhat annoyed with myself. Don't buy from this company.
