In English for european customers : custom tax fees to be paid : 71€ for a 250€ watch, this is a lot. I didn't see any warning concerning this when I purchased online on avi-8 website, thougth there should be a warning in capital letters. But avi-8 will probably say there is a warning, which is probablbly written in super tiny letters hidden somewhere ... Not european customer friendly
A Timepiece that gets noticed
The Atlas Dual Time stands out and gets noticed. It's highly detailed and multi colored face attracts attention. I got the Black Ops, which is black on black with grey hour and minute hands, a red secondary timezone hand, and a yellow chronograph hand. There are also three additional dials for the seconds, the hour marker for the chrono and a 24 hour dial. The overall look and feel of this watch exude aviation. the unidirectional bezel and the aviation inspired look of the inner dials paired with the yellow outlined date window make you want to be in the air. The strap is a nice thick leather and the square shape of the case with the single red 2h button complete the sportiness of this model. Every time I wear this, people stop me and ask what it is. The answer I tend to give is "Affordable Awesomeness for your wrist". If you're an aviation enthusiast or just a fan of watches that are a bit busy, this is the watch for you.

Bought a Avi8 watch which i like really like the look of.
Ordered from an Avi8 dealer and noticed a fault within days of owning it. Sent the watch for repair under warranty. Its been back 3 times to fix the same fault and returned unfixed. They also kept the watch for months on end!!.
Avi 8 won't replace the watch or acknowledge my complaint.
Useless customer service, useless UK repair centre.
Wouldn't recommend buying one.
Also made several bad reviews on their Facebook page and have now been blocked.??

Super produit mais une facture de frais de douane de 50% du prix de la montre qui arrive 1 mois après le colis, après Noel.
Du coup ce n'est plus du tout le même prix.
AVI-8 refuse de nous rembourser les frais de douane.

J'ai acheté une montre sur leur site en octobre, cadeau de Noël donc pas encore d'avis sur la qualité, mais la surprise est arrivé un mois plus tard avec une facture de plus de 50€ de frais de douane à payer au transporteur ! Soit plus de 30% du prix de la montre ! C'est pourtant annoncé livraison gratuite sur leur site !( Mais faut lire les petites lignes qui excluent les frais de douane selon le pays de livraison).
Dommage mais je ne conseille pas...

After 2 weeks the leather of the bracelet started delaminating and falling apart.
After 10 month of not intense wear, as wearing G-Shock for work or normal day, button getting lost without having experience any kind of shock.
Being still in guaranty, trying to call customer service several times without success.
E-mails sent with picture and prove of purchase. Only solution proposed is to sent back the watch at my own cost for repair which I finally did.

Cost me more than 30€ with tracking to UK and it's now blocked at the distribution office for UK tax payment that they want I pay again for a watch under guarantee!!!
Cheaply made- broke after 6 months
Bought one of their watches about 6 months ago, second hand fell off about 3 months in and now the hour hand is jammed and moves back and forth repeatedly. In this price range I wasn’t expecting high end quality but thought it would at least last a few years! Save your money and buy elsewhere.

Bought a Harrier 2 from ideal world in May 2020 .What a mistake!! 9 week out of the warranty it can't keep time so I sent it off to their service centre & got a prompt response. The estimated repair cost £90 ,quite a shock 😲 so I contacted AV 8 to ask why was it so expensive? ,the reply was that there was no mechanical problem but down to usual "wear and tear " .This is absolute rubbish-I only wear it on special occasions so I doubt it's had 2 months worth of wear .l contacted them again to emphasise my consumer rights & they fobbed me off. My advice is if you're thinking of buying an AV8 watch- don't bother ,save your money & get something else 😉 💩💩💩
AVI-8 ain't great but their warranty service is downright shameful
I was first drawn to AVI-8 because I am a big fan of vintage aircraft. In this case, the P-51 Mustang. I must've stumbled across the name AVI-8 as they have an edition that mimics features of the original aircraft. I should give them one star for their designs (which I did, gave them one star). For lack of good judgment and a proclivity for collecting watches, I bought over the course of one month 8 different watches, most directly from AVI-8 and a few from private sellers. Had I known then what I know now, I would've still purchased the P-51 "automatic" and called it a day. My experience has been poor, very poor. I fault AVI-8 and, most notably, their US service provider "International Watch Service Center" (IWSC) in Nevada. I purchased an AVI-8 "Pegasus Concept" automatic that had a misaligned dial (which says enough about their QC) and requested warranty service. It was a total waste of time (pardon pun). IWSC is at best a FOS company and at worst a complete bunch of cons. I sent the watch for a "correction" to the dial and received a follow up message that the movement needed to be replaced which, presumably, they billed to AVI-8. It took almost 3 mos. When I received the watch, the dial had not been corrected (and my guess is neither had had the mechanism). I compained wah wah wah via email and was instructed to resend it which I did. Two months later, I got the watch and again the dial was still misaligned. The watches look great but really are not made well. The components are inferior to say the least. AVI-8 does a poor job of providing swift warranty help and, more aptly, chose a repair company in the US that has absolutely no interest in fixing anything. I sincerely hope that the word gets out that they are dishonest, deceptive and immoral.
Very average quality watches
Very average quality watches and, in my opinion, not worth the money being charged. The company won’t post anything other than positive reviews on their website - I know because my review never appeared.
Huge disappointment 😟
I made two orders of watches, one for me on 27.11 and the other for a gift on 10.12. Imagine how disappointed I was after the first order arrived a week late, but I said to myself, "it's busy, the christmas is approaching" ... anyway.
I made the second order, it arrived on time but one of the hands of the clock was missing. I sent an email explaining the situation, they helped me to return the product for free and within a few days I received a new one, but the trouble does not end here 😟
After, convinced that something is wrong with these watches I decided not to wait for the Christmas, I took out the watch that is for me and put it on my hand, the first day one of the buttons that controls the chronograph fell, I found it and put it back in its place, today is December 20, there are five days until Christmas, unfortunately I found out that the strap of the watch had come loose.
It turns out that under the loud advertising, the luxury website and not particularly cheap watches - for the same money you can buy where and where better quality products, and reviews on the website were all five points, probably forged.
Huge disappointment, I would not recommend these watches!

I had to pay £10 in postage to return watch that was deemed faulty by me. I ordered the Halton, although a nice looking watch every time you moved it made a noise which sounded like a loose component but this is apparently normal because of the bezel. My two Breitling's and Seiko's don't make a noise. Customer service was good, quick to respond. But doubt I will order a watch again as pictures do not tell the real storey and you have to pay to return the product if you don't like it. so 3 stars from me.
Very Bad Quality
I bought an AVI-8 a few days ago and when I adjusted the day of the week for the first time, the hand flew off… I went to the store (Sanborns in Mexico) next day and they offered me to change it for another model, but some of them were out of phase, I asked them to bring another watch of the same model, and when it finally arrived, the same day of the week hand was pointing out of his area. It was a pretty nice watch but the quality was terrible.

Absolutely great service from ordering to the watch itself. I have purchased two watches and I'm made up with both. The watches themselves are of great quality. I without doubt, will be making further purchases from them in the near future.

They use UPS for deliveries and no tracking number was provided for my first order. Appeared out of the blue. Fortunately I was home to receive.
Two further orders placed and was invited to be an ambassador by email. Sadly the website doesn't work. Raised the issue and told to check back in 48 hrs for fix.
Not fixed and no further comms from AVI-8.
If this is the support you get then I feel like cancelling my Type 300 and Avon Automatic pre orders. Can you be confident of support if things go wrong?
Nice design and size
Purchased the new Help for Hero’s watch.
Kept informed of the release date and when the item would ship.
Was told the item would be arriving on Monday but it was actually delivered on the Friday before.
Item seems good quality and presentation box was nice touch. Not to big for my medium sized wrist and height of watch is good too. Some are bulky and don’t fit under the shirt cuff. No issues with this one.
I’ve not worn it yet so yet to see how it works out in daily use.
Poor customer service
I bought the help for hero's watch from them and the watch is of good quality for the price charged. The problems started when I tried to put the watch on, the strap was too small, I emailed customer service enquiring about purchasing a spare link, they informed me they don't sell spare links and I'd have to buy a complete strap and remove a link from it, they offered the complete strap at $70, nearly quarter or the price of the watch. I expressed my displeasure and the said they could do it for $60. I find it an absolute disgrace in a time of environmental awareness that I'm supposed to buy a complete watch strap just to use one link. Poor show Avi-8
Poor Quality and Poor Service
Poor Quality and Poor Process. I ordered the watch but it is flimsy and not of great quality, so I want to return. There is also no instruction manual, not even on the site so I cannot work out how to use the thing.
They claim 'hassle free' but it is anything but this. I fear it will cost a lot to return.
Avoid, not premium in any way.
I bought a watch last November. Mistake!
I bought a watch last November as a gift, the watch strap has split and is useless. Ok , so things break. What is very bad is that the company show complete disregard to this despite phone calls and emails. I accept coronavirus is an issue , but asimple email??? So be a little circumspect , watches are ok , just abysmal service when a problem.
