We recently renovated our main bathroom with Bathrooms4U, and overall the experience was mixed, with positives and negatives worth noting.

Positives:
• Our sales rep, Colin, provided excellent service. He was thorough, approachable, and even went the extra mile by reviewing a competitor’s quote for us.
• Bathrooms4U handled all aspects of the project, including contractors and materials. This made the process much easier and less stressful than if we had managed it ourselves.
• During the renovation, the team worked as tidily as possible given the disruptive nature of the job. They cleaned up at the end of each day and made a clear effort to minimise the impact on our home.
• The finished bathroom looks beautiful, and we’re very happy with the result.

Negatives:
• The showroom visit in Cork was very stressful. The representative we dealt with, Jesse, rushed us, was abrasive and dismissive, and repeatedly shut down our ideas with comments like “that will be expensive.” This left us overwhelmed and confused, and we ended up choosing something very different from what we actually wanted. We had to return days later to redesign everything to look how we actually wanted it to. Jesse treated us like we were being awkward for coming back a second time. The website describes the showroom appointment as a “design consultation,” but our experience didn’t match that promise.
• During the demolition, damage was caused to the wall in the next room. Although the workers patched it up, the finish was uneven and did not match the paintwork, which had only been done three months earlier. We had to follow up several times to get this properly repaired and reimbursed for the paint.
• The final stage of the project, fitting the bath panels, was repeatedly delayed. We were told “today,” then “tomorrow,” then “maybe the next day,” and eventually someone arrived at a time we had already said we were unavailable.
• A few days after completion, a leak developed in the ceiling of the room below, with water coming through a light fitting and staining the ceiling. Bathrooms4U responded quickly and resolved the issue, but the repair involved cutting into the ceiling in multiple places. This created another week of disruption, as new ceiling slabs, plastering, and painting had to be carried out.

The end result is a bathroom we love, but the stress far exceeded what we expected. Perhaps this hassle is just part what we should accept when working with a renovation company, but when we come to do our downstairs bathroom, we’ll likely try another company. It may not be much better, but we hope it won’t be worse either.

Recently purchased a bathroom suite from B4u Manor West Tralee.
Graham from start to finish was excellent. He was so helpful in showing us everything, his knowledge on everything was excellent.

Alan/Aine and the team were a breeze to deal with start to finish. Best of all one stop shop for all trades, kept to there schedule no messing, work lads very nice people. A lot of others could learn from these work ethic.

From start to finish we had the most perfect experience with B4U, from original consultation visit with John (and his vision to completely transform the space) to instore visits with Dylan and the team .. we even had the install dates brought forward which was another bonus, the onsite team were superb, so hard working, kept touching base with us as to how things were going, and there attention to detail was mint, in and out in 5 days and the bathroom is superb .. couldn’t recommend B4U more .. thanks again!!

From the first dealings with Dylan I was impressed with the professional, polite members of Bathrooms 4 U, all the team are courteous and respectful of your home, their time keeping is impeccable and its straight into the work on arrival, I'm very pleased with their work! The showroom in Tralee is worth a visit, it's fab! Also a big Thank you to them, they give you good ideas and help you plan your ideal bathroom, all in all I'm happy with this company! There was a small dent in my new towel rail but that was reordered and replaced by Aidan, it's a recommendation from me and if I had a 2nd bathroom I get them to do that one as well !!! We recently renovated 2 bathrooms with B4u. one bathroom was renovated very nicely. However, for the other bathroom we had issues since day 1. They sent us a tiler that did a very poor job followed by another employee that also did a very poor job covering all the issues. I rang them for days to get someone in their offices to see the issues and rectify them. No answer or a call back for days until my husband called them… it took a few days but they agreed to fix the issues. We waited for 4 months for the issues to be fixed (we have underfloor heating so we had no heating the whole winter, since we didn’t know when they’d fix the tiles). Lots of issues related to items and poor work and missed dates that I am not going to go into detail… but the main issue I experienced was the disconection between departments and lack of customer service. We paid 90% of the total before the work thinking they’d at least answer my calls if I had an issue, but that was not the case. I understand things sometines go wrong, and that’s why we gave them the oportunity to rectify the mistakes, however their poor customer service and all the issues left a lot to be desired.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company. They are very organised, always on time and clean. The project flowed without a hitch thanks to the highly skilled tradesmen.

B4u are fantastic company to deal with. Everything from our first visit to showroom to our consultation with Dillan was great. The tradesmen were so efficient & work was complete in five days, we are delighted with our finished bathroom. We would have no hesitation in recommending b4u for your renovation

Avoid at all costs

Very professional & dedicated workers. They were punctual, worked efficiently and were extremely tidy. This company give you continuous one to one contact before, duration & on completion. Exceptional in what they do.

Where do I start from the first meeting with John you think things couldn't get any better. Then the crew arrived on Monday morning bright and early. They started with the downstairs bathroom unbelievable work done. Toilet sink and shower had to be moved. Everything ready for the tiler and he was fantastic. Seven day bith jobs completely finished to a very high standard. A great company a pleasure to deal with, and the staff were all fantastic. Would highly recommend them

Amazing service! From start the finish the company were incredible to work with. Their efficiency was 2nd to none. We decided last minute to get two bathrooms renovated before our 3rd child arrived and the speed with how the processed it all was incredible. They had both bathrooms complete within the week and their clean up was impressive. I would highly recommend Bathrooms4u and I’ll be back to them for my other bathrooms!
