Terrible company
Terrible company, please stay well away............they purchased our internet provider NTL then hiked the prices right up.
I have been a customer since 2013 on a 3 year contract although i continued after the contract was finished as NTL where a good company with reasonable costs. Babble then took over and due to rising costs I decided to give notice.
They have been charging me over £90 a month for around 50mb and have now sent me a final bill for £793 to leave and are trying to get very intimidating about payment. BE AWARE

Don’t touch this company with a barge…
Don’t touch this company with a barge pole!!! I have just gone back to BT and am receiving the same package for £62 per month that Babble were charging £220. They are trying to charge me £5900 to leave!! I have one business line and wi fi, and have been with Babble for 5 years. ( BT charge £498 early termination fee). I am refusing to pay, believe I was missold the product, and didn’t read page 18 of the terms and conditions. We are probably in for a long legal fight! You have been warned!!

AWFUL COMPANY - AVOID!
Babble bought out our local, independent provider, and we have gone from having a very close, personal relationship with our provider, to Babble clearly not caring for our business and the services they provide. We have tried to cancel with them for over a year now, and they are constantly moving the goal posts, and sending un-clear information. Today we have finally received a detailed list of services we have with them, with different contract end dates to what we have been previously told. So we are now having to pay an extra 6 months, and extortionate porting fees. Such a shame.

Shocking company
Shocking company with the worse customer service i have experianced in some time. After our inital telephone company was bought out by them, they did not notifiy us of any contract changes until we tried to cancel our supply. We have to pay a large amount of money to buy oursleves out and this paid in July 2024, and this week they are trying to charge an additional £1K for services that we have not used since August 2024. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Quick call back from support engineer
Shortly after emailing that there was a problem I received a helpful call from support engineer to resolve issue with old analogue phone. Very patient and knowledgeable and contacted other member of team to sort replacement.

Very poor customer service. Never any call backs and never any solutions. if your in business avoid this company.
My very good existing supplier was bought over by this mob. When i then had issues it was a nightmare to fix. We had dropped calls for almost 10 weeks with extreme loss of business and the emabarassment of customers thinking we were puting the phone down. No alternative solutions given by customer service man Sam, who had an unfortunate manner. Just told we had to wait for BT.
We were eventually given a new broadband line and charged for both for months until eventually got it solved with 2 business account managers later.
i then asked if we could cancel the contract and was told yes and now they want me to honour the cost of entire contract at thousands of pounds?? they can certainly quote Ts and C's when it suits them.

Babble have been a great support…
Babble have been a great support company, fast to respond to critical issues and with a staff that are highly knowledgeable in all areas of IT. Any issues we had with service were followed up upon and processes streamlined to aid response time.
Would recommend them as your IT support partner.

Cant warn anyone off these enough!
Signed a contract with them years ago before the company changed to Babble, since then they've added elements on to the bill without permission.
Double charging me for products on the bill, credited me for these and still haven't took it off the invoices after.
Cant get a response off an 'account manager' for love nor money. Takes literal weeks for them to get back to you regarding any issue.
Exceptionally expensive in comparison to other providers. Especially after pretty much doubling my bill from what i agreed. Now getting the exact same products and service for half the price.
If it was more money involved I would be taking them to court.

Brad excelled on the day
Brad Speight went above and beyond today at Elm House Nursing Home. The job sheet did not reflect the work required but Brad did his utmost not to disappoint. He was very open to questions from myself and others. I'm admin and telephones are not my expertise. Brad was patient and articulate in his responses and I learnt a lot. He did everything he could to help us get connected and to advise regarding our future plans. We really needed Brad to carry out this full survey before the installation. I feel confident that Babble will support us with an excellent after service if Brad is typical of the staff you employ at Babble.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
If there was an option for no stars, that is what I would award. In 50 years of business this company is by far the worst that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.
I was originally with Tetcom Telecoms who were acquired by Babble, I thought, " great, things will improve now" how wrong could I be.
After giving notice to change provider, this company continued to invoice me for over a year to the tune of over 6k, even getting a solicitor involved and threatening court action.
I was extremely lucky that my current provider became involved and lodged a complaint with CISAS and the case was overturned.
My advice would be to avoid this company at all cost. If you are looking for a brilliant telecoms company please message me.

Babble don't care, they just want your money.
Babble engage in unethical and unhanded tactics to milk as much money out of their customers as possible. Yesterday (17th December) we were informed additional £11.99/month charge that would be added to our invoice from the 1st of January for “Babble-on 24/7” support which we don't need or want.
We were automatically opted into this additional service. If we had closed down for Christmas as many businesses have, we wouldn't have seen the notification before the first charge appeared on our account. So we wouldn't have had opportunity to opt-out of the service and the charge.
We were also told if we opt out but then call for support out of hours, we would be opted back into the service, if we accept the support. So, effectively there's absolutely no reason for the customer to opt-into the service before they need it for the first time.
Ask yourself:
Why would Babble automatically opt customers into this service?
Why would Babble notify customers at a time when they know they are less likely to see the notification before the change comes into effect?
It's not to benefit the customer, it just makes Babble more money. Babble is solely interested in making money in any way they can, they don't care about providing a good service. Be prepared to spend time reading all of the small print and sending multiple emails querying charges on your account that weren't mentioned and that you didn't explicitly agree to.
Babble's attitude seems to be, add all the charges they can and only remove the unnecessary ones after the customer has repeatedly questioned them.
Technical Issues:
Our phones would drop calls at random when doing transferring them between handsets. We reported the issue to Babble, it took them 2 months to come up with a "fix", which basically disabled some of the features of our handsets making them less useful.
At this point, we just manage with the phone system as is, we don't trust the Babble engineers to meddle with it and further disrupt our business operations.
We having been searching for another provider to buy us out of our Babble contract for sometime. The pricing is so high compared to the competition that we need to wait until we have only a year left before it becomes feasible.
For anyone else who has a similar experience with Babble, be aware you can register a complaint with Trading Standards via the citizensadvice dot org dot uk website. Trustpilot doesn't allow me to include a link.

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Maybe now I am writing a scathing review they will listen to the concerns we have regarding our on call system and act on them. We support young people with additional needs and have an on call system for their safety and our staffs safety. The system failures are causing us severe anxiety in the build up to the xmas period where we solely rely on our phone lines when the office is closed. The agent that contacted us (only contacted when we threatened to cancel the direct debit) was actually laughing at the head of our company down the phone. Completely unprofessional and degrading when we have genuine concerns and pay for a service. Would appreciate if someone would actually take this seriously and fix the problem.
