Rang up Bascom technical help this morning chasing a fault from someone tampering with an already built System.

The technical advisor couldn't have been any more helpful. Not often you get straight through to someone so switched on and straight to the point of failure.
Up and running again within 15 minutes.
5/5 for service.
I don't know the advisors name but I would have bought him a pint just for his patience and nice manner.

I have just had excellent support in getting my system up and running. The recorder arrivedquickly but was found to be dead on arrival. I contacted Bascom and they immediately dealt with my problem.
The package with the replacement recorder arrived yesterday. One day after reporting the faulty recorder box. It is the quickest delivery I think I have ever had.
Well done, first class service.
I have connected everything up on the replacement recorder and all is working straight away. No problems with the replacement one and very easy to set up.
I am delighted with the quality of recording. It is excellent and just what I wanted.
I am 73 years old and I was concerned that the kit would be difficult to install and operate, but this has been extremely easy to install and set up.
I will be recommending this system to my friends and neighbours, and they can come and have a look at the quality of picture on my system.
I will no doubt be back soon to purchase another kit and I will get the "top of the range" kit next time to cover my main house building and garage area. This "entry level" kit is very impressive though, and the after sales service has been excellent. George B.

Very helpful so far in working out/planning my requirements

After carrying out much internet research on various makes of CCTV systems available, I decided to purchase a 4 camera wired Bascom system to replace my existing cheap and cheerful Kguard system. My decision to buy from Bascom was based mainly on Bascom's excellent customer service and product reviews on Trustpilot. I recently took delivery of my Bascom system and after installation, I found the system did not display a 'real time' video image when viewed on my mobile phone and laptop (this was obvious to me as the on screen system clock was stopped at a single moment in time and would only refresh very occasionally). I queried this with Bascom and they advised that because my system was plugged into a 'Gigabit Port' on my router, I needed to buy a 'Fast Ethernet Switch' and connect it between the recorder and router, which would rectify the problem. I bought a Switch on eBay for £20 (they are difficult if not impossible to buy new from a well known retail outlet in the UK) and the problem has indeed been solved. Bascom do not mention this issue in their advertising, so it is a small extra expense if you are considering buying Bascom equipment. To the best of my knowledge and belief, Bascom have also settled the import duty incurred, although it is worth mentioning that you, the customer/addressee, are legally liable to pay all UK import duties. BASCOM have answered all my phone calls and emails promptly, and they have provided support and guidance with my CCTV installation teething issues. I have had after sales experience with other companies such as Arlo, Ring, KGuard, and it has always been a complete hassle trying to get those companies to provide anything like the good after sales support that Bascom provides.

I bought a pair of 5Mp cameras + hard drive recorder to upgrade my 3Mp wi-fi system.
I already had the holes drilled through wall/window frame, to allow connection to the house mains electricity sockets. therefore it was a simple diy project.
Having connected the recorder to the tv and wi-fi router I was rewarded with a significantly better picture than the old system provided.
I carried out tests using a vacuum cleaner and fluorescent lights, which in the past had totally prevented the old system from recording any images, due to radiated noise, disrupting the wi-fi signal. There was no noticeable effect on the new system.
I then downloaded the app on to an iPhone, and drove into the hills for a coffee and lemon drizzle cake. I logged into the app, and unlike the old systems five minutes of buffering, I received both camera images in six to eight seconds.
The system comes with comprehensive printed manuals.
I did not use them because, the four step, quick set up guide, worked first time.
Initially there was a problem with import VAT, this was quickly sorted out by the excellent Boscom customer support team in the Netherlands.

Bascom sent me a second shipment as the first got caught up in a customs loop.
Bascom Camera seems good quality and works fine - easy set up . Not the case for my existing IP camera though and I was initially left hanging , but Mark Lems went above and beyond to try and recover this and deliver on what was promised in trying to connect this for me . In the end Mark provided me with their own Bascom test camera in order to honour their promise . This Company has integrity . 👍

I have just purchased 5 cameras from Bascom and I have to say they are good. Had a old analog system that was past its day but served me well, had a brief encounter with Blink, don’t bother!
This system although more costly than most, WORKS . Pictures , sound, play back, zoom all great, and help from the team at Bascom was and is brilliant.
I have only one criticism Bascom, that is you delivery’s, I had two and on both occasions there was a problem with Customs, frustrating to say the least, need to sort it !
But that aside, I would recommend this company.
