The speed and ease of the loan running a business you need help sometimes but the banks are very help ful a loan like this was so easy and the people i dealt with were excellent

For desperate people only
These loans are advertised under the guise of being part of the government guaranteed loan. Appealing to vulnerable businesses with average credit scores. They then offer loans at more than double the interest rate of the government guaranteed scheme claiming to not be a part of what "Become" is offering. So if you want to borrow money at 30% and over a very short term (they advertise up to 5 years but only offer 12 months), do it knowing they are going to aggressively pressure you until you have signed and then every week they will txt and email you reminding you to pay to avoid fees. Its all very intimidating and absolutely aimed at people who are desperate for finance.
In reply to the below response from Become, I received 25 emails and txt msgs over a 4 days period warning me that if I didn't accept the offer it may well not be available again. The three quotes given to me were via Become Facebook links advertising as Govt guaranteed loans - Apply now. None of the companies that contacted me were offering that nor could they. All over 30% interest. There was never any attempt or communication as to whether I qualified for the guaranteed scheme ( which I did) because none of them offered it. All claimed that Become had sent them my data request for finance, which was done through the Govt guarantee link. Very dodgy indeed.

This is Eden, the CEO here at Become. We appreciate your feedback and want to do whatever we can to help address the issues you've raised.
Regarding advertisements, we did have several funding partners that offered funding in the form of government guarantee scheme loans, but the program itself officially ended June 30, 2021. We have since ceased all advertising for that specific type of funding. If you have seen an ad of ours that mentioned the government guarantee scheme after the program's end date, please let us know. You can send a screenshot to support@become.co of the ad you're referring to.
In any case, when the program was active, there was no way to tell whether an applicant would qualify with those specific funding partners for that specific form of funding until they completed the application process - the same is true for all types of funding in our online marketplace.
Qualifying factors inevitably vary from one lender/form of funding to the next, which is the reason why you may have received funding offers that did not include a government guarantee.
Additionally, we do want to clearly state that we never pressure applicants to proceed with obtaining a business loan through our online marketplace. The decision to sign for a business loan is left in the hands of the applicants themselves.
Furthermore, we noticed that you recently renewed the loan you took earlier this year, and we would like to keep you as a loyal user of our services. Please allow us the opportunity to discuss these matters with you by sending us an email to support@become.co, and (to reiterate) we will do everything we can to help resolve the issues you've raised.
