I echo the disappointment shared by most of the other reviewers. While the Oklahoma City venue was good (I would have given it 4 stars), the event itself was certainly not worth the $30 cost per ticket. It was basically a retro night at any bar, with a crowd of all ages, the majority being under 30. Great idea, poor execution.

This is most definitely NOT for people who are expecting to hear throwbacks from the 80s, 90s, or 00s. My group of friends are in our fifties and came ready to hear our old hits as that is how it is marketed - it is NOT in ANY way like that. I talked (complained) to the event manager and she told me the lineup is: first 30 minutes is 80s REMIXES (NOT THE ORIGINAL SONGS), then an hour of 90s REMIXES, then the rest is techno making it NO different than any other bar experience in town. This is the definition of a bait and switch. When talking to other groups that were also just standing around, all being in our 50s, no one was happy and most of us all left at 6:30 or so. The only one staying and dancing were the 20 somethings. So again, if you are expecting a retro night - this is NOT that and I would not waste your money.

The worst. I have tried to contact them twice now using the web form and I have yet to receive a response (my first enquiry was three months ago). Terrible service, would not recommend. If I could give 0, I would.

I went to the one in Malmö in September 2026 with some friends, it was SO MUCH FUN !! I wasn’t expecting much, but everything was just great, the DJ, the crowd, the location; we danced for hours only going outside to get some fresh air and go at it again;
We’ll definitely come back !

Please save yourself and DO NOT GO. first of all, it was not EDM like they positioned it as. Second of all, it wasn’t even a DJ. It was some random woman essentially singing karaoke to pop hits from the 80s. Absolutely horrendous and we stayed less than an hour. Do not go.

i lasted exactly 1.5hrs before we left at 5.30pm😂😂 horrible place wheee it was held - nightclub venue for my age group 😞 i mean come on - been there done that in my 20s
and it was packed but worst was music def not what was advertised
i go to festivals which are awesome and i expected club music not top 40s and something i would go to RSL club

We attended the Bed by 10 event in Los Angeles on September 5. What a disappointment. There was a woman on stage singing karaoke to the songs! Some of the best dance songs were slowed down so she could keep up to the music. Also, the DJ kept changing the songs one-third in to the song just as the beat was about to drop. Not good.
Go to Early Birds events. They are amazing!

3 of us arrived so excited to relive our youth.. we are only 40s.. everyone dancing to diffent tracks as the mixing was so horrendous. End of night tunes mixed in with some okay tunes.
Staff were friendly.

Cashless which is insulting to those wishing to use legal tender! We left by 630 and into town to enjoy some more professional mixed tunes.

We attended the Christchurch show last night and I have to agree with other reviews that the event feels poorly managed, overcrowded, and featured basic or disappointing music with minimal effects. The sound quality was also horrible. Lots of people just drinking and standing around, smoking with little to no room to really dance. Please don't waste your money. You will leave early.

Went to the Auckland gig, poorly managed, think overbooked as no room to move, not enough bar staff, music was sing along spice girls and Whitney Houston, fine if you like that sort of music

Crap, don't bother. DJ was hopeless, lost many ears with each failed transition, songs were daggy and embarrassing, bogan crowd. We left after an hour.

Moved the event and wouldn't offer refunds

This was a really bad experience. Coming into the venue was easy enough. Sure, Plan B in Malmoe, Sweden, might not be a fancy place, but that was already a known thing so we accepted that.

What we did not know was the fact that they had a guy on stage with a mic that was trying to hype up the audience. His idiotic "make some noise" and other dumb comments destroyed every beat that the DJ was playing. And where did they get the DJ? In a nearby gutter? Playing Cher is not something you do at what you've labeled as a "Rave party".

The sound quality was really poor (with the idiot on the mic blasting at a volume that was more than enough to wake up a few dead people a mile away) and what about the visuals that we were being promised? (Lasers, CO2 cannons and confetti) Nothing that was to be seen at least for the first 2½ hours of the spectacle.

And when you didn't think it could get any worse the guy with the mic thought it was a good idea to have a "dance off contest". WTF? I certainly didn't come there to see 5 radom people trying to dance on stage when someone is constantly yelling "make some noise".
With still 2 hrs to go, we just gave up and promised ourselves never to attend the event again.

We got in easely but left 2.5 hours prior to closeing time. The bathrooms were really shitty, it took at least 30 min to get a drink. The music was poorly mixed and didnt hold the bangers you wanted. The absolute worst thing that got us to leave was the brittish guy on stage who was hired to hype up the audiens. He destroyed every song by talking and screaming and turning the music of and shit. It was horrible! Absolutley would not recomend.

Worst thing I've ever paid for. An hour & a half past open time we were still in a 200m line waiting to get in. Then a 45 min wait to get one drink. They were greedy & oversold so many tickets to the venue, you couldn't even find space standing up. Music sounded OK but I've had mobile DJs in the 90s play better. Then some 18yr old girls in skimpy clothes start dancing with the DJ to a crowd thats 40yrs plus plus. We left about 45 mins into finally getting in as were overwhelmed with lack of space to move & toilet / bar wait times. Everone there looked dissolusioned. So bad. Bar staff asked us to complain as legalities for them over dangers of crowds & risks. Poor & greedy. Never again.

Attended the event in Preston and was really underwhelmed. It was advertised as a 80s, 90s and 00s clubland event but music was way too much of a mix. Venue was was small and quite crowded early on (till people left) and poor choice of drinks. Could have had a similar experience listening to a DJ for free in any chain pub.

How can the DJ be more uninterested in his musical performance, playing random tracks without mixing, not hyping the crowd, blank face saying "i don't want to be here" and empty the place 2h before the end from his randomly placed 30min unknown trance songs set??? Wow. Get a 55 y/o DJ that actually knows the 80-90-00 musical knowledge.

An amazing concept, twice failed from a really bad DJ. I was there in September too.

Quite disappointing experience in Birmingham…
DJ clearly had no idea how to do his job, going from Faithless- insomnia to Oasis-Don’t look back in anger then again to Ibiza classic just to play MJ Smooth criminal… the entire musical repertoire was on shuffle and not a good one!
Advertising this event as 30+ is a bit misleading as it was more for 50 year olds
Two drinks and two shots only £35…boring and pricey that’s why I was motivated to go bed before 10.
