DO NOT BUY ……….Ultra glass 2 Treated Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro Max bought via the Apple Store & fitted by them. Warranty registered.
Cracked within 28 days, not dropped, no idea how it happened! Could not find receipt.
After sending 4 emails explaining this & with creditcard statement showing transaction case closed by them!
Warranty is worth nothing! Why doesn’t it ask you to upload the receipt when completing the warranty? After all you can’t register the product if you haven’t bought it! Any other company would replace as faulty.
Awful customer service, shocking expensive product not fit for purpose!

I had the same experience as everyone else except I got through to Belkin who, after quite a bit of strange correspondence, I asked if they were a robot as they just repeatedly said they would replace the screen saver, even when I complained that some of the glass had pierced my skin, so I refused the offer. Apple were no better, they just told me that the screen protector wasn't guaranteed not to break, only to stop the phone screen from breaking. I would expect more for £35 needless to say I'm very disappointed as I hadn't asked Apple to supply it, they suggested it

Disappointed with quality of their iPhone 16 Ultra glass 2 screen protector. Started chipping very soon after purchase. Belkin refused point blank to replace it. Very poor after sales service and product. Spend your money elsewhere as I will be!

Belkin supprime le support cloud des produits WEMO qui deviennent donc inutilisables, seulement quelques années après leur vente. Les clients vont donc devoir jeter leur produits connectés (iot) . For me: Belkin never again !

I recently purchased a new iPhone 16 Pro at the Apple store in Cardiff. They encouraged me to buy and fit a Belkin screen protector, which they installed in the shop before I left. However, within a few weeks, the screen protector cracked in several places, rendering some phone functions inoperable. Apple directed me to Belkin, who refused a refund and offered only a replacement screen protector, which is of no use whatsoever. I’m disappointed with both Apple and Belkin, having wasted £30. I wonder how much of that went to Apple.

I bought a screen protector for iPhone 16 pro. Two weeks later a crack appears across it. The phone has not been dropped or knocked - I have been extremely careful with it. Doesn’t even go in bags.
Customer service are useless - refusing to replace it, despite the fact that clearly the problem is the product quality.
£30 for a protector that didn’t even last more than two weeks is absolutely disgusting. The “warranty” they offer is an absolute joke.
Just save your money and buy a £5 from Amazon.

Stay away from Belkin!!!! The charger bought from them from an Apple Store is a fire hazard and they are nowhere to be found!! The customer service is a literal scam. They even denied my request to file a complain.

Purchased a Belkin screen protector from the Apple Store to protect my new phone. This is the one that is fitted in store by an Apple assistant. Was told it was virtually impossible to crack but to register it under the Belkin warranty scheme all the same. Registered the product on the Belkin website and thought everything was good with the world. Unfortunately I dropped my phone and was a little shocked how easy it cracked. Never mind I thought I have a warranty, so I logged into my account and saw my registered item on my account page and then completed the online form including pictures and pressed send. I did get an enquiry response fairly quickly stating I would get a full response in 3-5 working days. I then received an email asking for a photo of the receipt showing proof of purchase. This is the proof I had to provide to register it in the first place. I also had 48 hours to respond or my case would be closed. Searched and searched for the receipt but alas after 16 or so months have to admit its mislaid. I responded 48 hours and received no more communication. I then sent another request through with the original case number and all the previous details as well as stating that I had mislaid the receipt and pretty much got the same response, asking for a receipt within 48 hours or my case would be closed. Responded again and nothing ! When I registered the product I do not recall anywhere in big letters stating that you need not only register with all the information on the receipt but also keep that receipt in case you make a claim. I understand I have mislaid it, but the unhelpful attitude of the customer services is astonishing. I have purchased many Belkin products in the past but never again

I bought a screen protector in Apple Store and registered via Google account on Belkin website. When you go to their website it gives you an option to Create an account or login. When you click on login you can do it with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn. I selected log in with Google it went through I registered the screen protector it showed registered but when I contacted them later on they told me that they don’t see it registered and I don’t have a profile created because I can only register by selecting the option to create the account. Why not removing the other options from the website if create the account is the only option that is valid? They make you believe that you registered a product but it’s not actually registered unless you manually create the account. So if you logged in through Google, you get access to the profile, you register the product - the green icon appears "thank you for registration" but when you log out and log back in through the same Google account and go under "registered products" nothing appears unless you select "create an account option" instead of just logging with you Google or Facebook. They are scammers because they tell you that you registered the product while you didn't and if you don't register it their lifetime warranty doesn't apply.

Their iPhone cables are rubbish, don’t last long at all. Definitely a scam, poor quality means you need to replace frequently. Tell me why every other domestic appliance cables last for decades, yet mobile phone cables are just rubbish?

I bought their screen protector for a crazy expensive price, just because of their “lifetime warranty”. And guess what? They’re not willing to replace it after just a few months of purchase.

I've bought several Belkin screen protectors over the years, usually at the same time as upgrading my phone. Each and every screen has been fitted by Apple staff.

While the screens have proved ok, they've never struck me as good value for money. And they've certainly had no more durability than much cheaper protectors from High Street stalls. I've been too lazy to record warranty details except for my last protector purchase in January 2025. In March an obvious chip appeared to one side of this. The phone had not been dropped or had any adverse contact with another object.

Based on Apple's recommendation I then contacted Belkin, filled in a form, sent photos, and asked for a replacement. Belkin has denied this, saying the damage is 'wear and tear'. Wear and tyre? My arse it is.

Won't be back to Belkin again. Mediocre product at best, a warranty that isn't worth the paper/screen its written on. A company best avoided.

I was recommended a Belkin screen protector by Apple in shop when I bought my new iPhone. It was fitted in the Apple shop and developed a small crack within two weeks. Obvious defect. Belkin won’t honour the warranty. Highly disappointed with Belkin and also Apple for offering only Belkin.

NOTE I see someone else below has had the same problem! I will be complaining to Apple too.

I bought an iPhone 16 Pro from an Apple Store and bought a Belkin UltraGlass 2 SPS iPhone 16 Pro screen protector which was professionally fitted. I was told that the screen came with a warranty and duly registered the product with Belkin and told by the store that if it cracked I could get a replacement glass from Belkin which I could come in and have professionally fitted by Apple. What you would expect given the relative price. Within a week there was a small crack in the glass which deteriorated over time. I wrote to Belkin and was told by the customer service that this warranty was only if the screen was cracked ‘before’ fitting. Never buying their product again. Overpriced with no additional value or service.

Firstly I used the QR code to watch the how-to video on my phone. This wasn’t practical as it was impossible to watch the video and install the protector at the same time. I scanned the QR into my previous phone and it took me to a different, irrelevant video. So I proceeded with what I remembered from the original video, and the ambiguous diagrams on the box. Despite taking my time and exercising the fullest care, I still got bubbles under the protector that were impossible to remove. Not what I expected, from a premium product, with a not insignificant price tag. Very frustrated and annoyed. Don’t waste your money!
Update: to be fair, after a couple of days, the more noticeable bubbles had gone, and although a couple of small ones remain, I continue to use the screen without too much distraction. Still not convinced it was worth the money though…
