I did the two-way DC-NY trip. It was a decent service. Things ran on schedule. Price was reasonable. Free bottle of water was provided. There was wireless internet, but very slow.
On the way to NY, the driver made an unplanned stop due to a miscommunication with the HQ, which led to a 15-min delay.
Overall good value.

Definitely recommend.

Our Girl Scout Troop of 14 (12 girls/ 2 adults) took the bus from Union Station Washington,DC to Rehobath Beach for a day trip. It was PERFECT. The bus was clean and timely we were able to relax and enjoy the ride in each direction without worrying about being stuck in traffic or being to tired to drive. The pick up and drop off locations on each end met our needs and the schedule allowed us a full day to enjoy the beach. Our driver was great and very helpful. Regina in the Best Bus office provided superior customer service in getting us set with etickets and travel information. We would highly recommend Best Bus and we would use them again!

Pretty good experience however seats aren't very comfortable they don't adjust much other than that service good .I would definitely recommend but I suggest you should bring a comfortable pillow and blanket.

This is our 3rd round trip with BestBus between VA and NYC.

Good clean bus. They provide water for each passenger.

WiFi does not work. In case you're planning to use WiFi to login to work during the journey, that wont happen.

Overall we are happy with service and will use BestBus again.

This was my first time trying BestBus. I typically ride with Vamoose or Tripper. I frequently travel to NYC and I've never had an issue on the bus. On our way back, our service was disrupted due to a "safety" concern. We pulled over at a rest stop for about 45 minutes and arrived in DC at 3:30 which is not ideal timing due to rush hour.

I understand that issues arise however, I feel that there could have been better communication from the driver. Additionally, I was surprised that no email was sent apologizing for the disruption in service or providing some voucher/coupon for a future trip.

They have great locations for me (Dupont Circle in DC) but tend to be more expensive than BoltBus

We were very comfortable through out the ride

On a recent round trip the driver was unable to start the bus after dropping people off at the first stop. After 25 minutes the bus restarted and continued on to our destination.

In spite of the bus voting not to stop, we somehow found ourselves stopping in Delaware halfway through our trip. Beyond having to get back to DC for a work meeting asap, I understand the need for safety should the driver be tired. That said, he went into the rest stop, bought a soup, salad, coffee which he then proceeded to eat (taking more than the 15 minutes he had allotted for our stop). Then, after having been there for a full 40 minutes without any communication, he announced that there was some sort of a leak in the pressure such that he couldn't break, so was waiting on a mechanic or communication from the bus company. 20 minutes later without any explanation, we started moving again - with no indication he had either solved the problem, it was safe to drive, or if that was why he had stopped in the first place. We of course got to DC an hour and a half later than expected, but this was an unsettling and unsatisfactory experience.

punctuality and Information wehre very good! Buying the tickets in Internet was very easy.

It's not amazing, 6 h to go to NYC from Vienna, it's too much, at least, put departures earlier than 5.30

Bus leaves on time and is always clean. The free water is another awesome perk!

Comfortable seats, we left on time, the water is a great perk. Only downside was lack of outlets. But that isn't a huge issue for me

Read above in subject line. Most of time younger people opt to go staright without stop disregarding older people. Moving rear end makes dangerous to go to toilet in bus.
