Highly recommend Bike, Hike and Paddle. From start to finish the whole experience was excellent. Very easy to book, with clear information and a friendly approach. Dave made extra sure that any support needed within the group was provided and that all newcomers feel welcomed and part of the group.

My daughter took part in an Open Bronze DofE Training, Practice and Qualifying Expedition in North Cumbria.

Dave created a bespoke expedition for my son at short notice, in which he taught him the core elements of navigation and camp craft from scratch. My son learned so much from him (and earned an NNAS Navigator Award) that when he embarked on a Gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition a few days later, he found himself in charge of navigation for his whole group! Dave was so thoughtful and flexible in planning this expedition that we wholeheartedly recommend him for any outdoor endeavours.

Dave was brilliant! Flexible, knowledgeable and helpful. He kept the expedition on track despite a last minute cancellation from another participant by finding a substitute just hours from the start time. The highlight for my son was the surprise cupcakes he produced on top of a mountain on his birthday :)

They were really helpful, they helped us conquer issues and helped when we needed it, I successfully improved my navigation skills through a day of teaching before walking

My son was not able to attend the gold DofE practice, but canceling it was not an issue at all. They were very helpful.

Dave was always really helpful and kind to everyone especially when it was very wet weather. He was also very motivational and kept us going. I honestly had the best DofE experience. I could not have asked for anything better.

Dave the instructor was amazing and so helpful even when morale was low. What I think the group of people should be in a group with similar fitness level in walking.
