Fencing was delivered promptly, quality is fine.

Products I ordered were good quality, but the customer service up to the point of delivery was shocking.

On the website it said they would “aim” for delivery within 5-7 working days. I’d heard nothing from them about delivery times by the 5th day so I called - to be told I would be called back after the weekend (day 6). I didn’t receive a call so I phoned back to find out what was going on - I was told that my delivery may not happen until the end of that week, ie outside the 5-7 day window.

The manager of the place told me that I should focus on the word “aim” in their delivery timescale, rather than the 5-7 days. What on earth is the point of giving a timeframe if you’re not even going to try and meet it and if you don’t even call your customer proactively to let them know if there are good reasons for the delay?

I had to specifically request that they call me in the morning of the delivery day to confirm they were actually on their way. She said they don’t normally do that - so literally could just turn up whenever.

Was not impressed and despite the product quality I’d not choose Bingley Fencing in future because of their unreliability and, quite frankly, attitude towards customers.

Easy to order and quick to deliver, fence panels good quality

Hi the gate we bought was faulty but we didn’t notice until after we had put a coat of paint. Bingley Fencing although said we could take and they would look at it, refused to replace as we had painted it. Had we not painted it we wouldn’t have noticed it was faulty. We would never consider buying goods from Bingley Fencing again, the gate is not fit for purpose and we will need to replace from a different supplier, never know and have used previously. Given the gate was a good price we now know why !!

Good communication but the gate wasn't really a gate. It was just a smaller panel of the hit and miss with two extra pieces of diagonal wood to stop it from miss shaping. No trimmings, finished edges or butt ends. The company are saying that it is as advertised so be careful as the pieces of wood down the sides in the picture are not included so it's basically a 3 by 6 panel which is more expensive than the 6 by 6 panel obviously my error.
